Uchiha were known primarily for their chakra, the dojutsu was more like a bonus very few are capable of awakening. Even in the Hashi flashbacks we saw adult Uchiha with 1T and 2T Sharingan, it was rare for someone to have the full powered 3T since most of them were mentally hardened from constant warfare.

There were no flashbacks of adults with 1 or 2t Sharingan's. The flashback showed an Uchiha with a scar and three-tomoed Sharingan that presumably stabbed Itama to death with an oversized shuriken.

It was not rare to have a 3T, the only thing stopping them was death. The longer they lived and used the eye, it would naturally progress. In an era of war and strife, a Sharingan wielding Uchiha was a common thing, which was why they were so strong. If only a rarity had the eyes, they'd be risking a lot by sending them out to battle, because the only Sharingan users could die.

Frankly, I just poke fun at most of them and ignore them now. It's not like they listen to evidence anyway.

Her getting the sharingan like that was pure plot handout bs, just like boruto's eye and everything mitisuki has done in the anime.

Her getting Sharingan was to prove that the emotions don't have to be negative to awaken dojutsu, that paved the way for next gen Uchiha to not go down the same path as their predecessors, which is what Itachi died for.


In addition Sakura is known to be very emotional, add that to Sasuke's emotional sensitivity and you could see why Sarada seeing her father for the first time would trigger her dojutsu to awaken.
