It's easy. If they can't awaken it as a toddler, they just have to wait until they reach adolescence.

In regards to how its awakened, there are no specifics or whatsoever what causes it to awaken besides from intense feelings or accumulated stress.

All teenagers are susceptible to intense feeling or high levels of stress.

So, only an Uchiha with dead emotions can reach adulthood w/o awakening their Sharingan. But factually, ALL Uchiha can awaken it.​

When a wielder of this Kekkei Genkai experiences a powerful emotional condition with regards to a person precious to them, their brain releases a special form of chakra that affects the optic nerves, transforming the eyes into Sharingan.

Sarada was already developing HIGH LEVELS of STRESS before she even met Sasuke Uchiha, from doubting the authenticity of her parents. So it wasn't just from seeing Sasuke that played into it, but also, the doubt of her identity and whether Sakura was being completely honest with her about who her biological mother was. I believe that was the BUILD UP or what started releasing this special chakra from her brain, until it was sufficient to transform her eyes, reflecting her intense emotions.

With Sasuke, I believe it was the severity of the situation. It was too much for him to even comprehend what was going on or grasping the information that was passing his brain, so this chakra wasn't developing as much as it was supposed to. As a result, he lost consciousness and fell into a temporary amnesia.

I agree with this. Not sure why an Uchiha with a 1-3 Tomoe was a rarity. As you said the Ninja life is stressful and traumatic life. Hell their training alone should be popping out 3 Tomoed students before they even got the academy XD

I think Kishi made up for this by saying that they try to lock their emotions away, so when they do encounter loss or emotional pain, they can naturally ward it off for another time. However, it all comes crashing down sooner or later, but whether or not the crashing of emotions results in the Sharingan or not idk. If they're good at hiding or sealing away emotions then it must mean that the emotions can be sent away for good.

No offense, but I didn't read. Tobirama said it happens when one experiences loss, hence why the Sharingan causes the user to go insane/evil. Salad obviously didn't lose anything. But she might if Sakura dies.

Yall sound emo as hell. Teenage agnst isn't really intense....at least not compared to having your family murdered in front of you...or having to defend yourself and your superior comrade from certain death...or watching your friend commit suicide because the government is out to get him.

Sadara is really the only stretch....but the kind of "intense feelings" and circumstances the manga has depicted that is required to awaken the sharingan...are far worse than everyday stress. Uchiha fans be so tortured

We're still talking about shinobi. Everyone seems to think that the Uchiha were all emo and super sensitive...when ninja have been taught since the war days to mentally accept the harsh realities of shinobi life.

So uchihas rarely having sharingan isn't that crazy. Most were probably strong enough mentally to endure...and only the ones too weak mentally or the ones with REALLY traumatic experiences..even for a shinobi...awakened it

No. Tobirama obviously didn't study it enough, or was basing his conclusions off of just Madara/Izuna. Sarada's awakening of her Sharingan came from ultimately, intense feeling. It was stress, anger, excitement, altogether.

Itachi or Obito didn't have to lose anyone close them to awaken theirs. With Obito, we even see how it came from his desire to protect his precious comrades. He lost consciousness after a tsukiyomi rape session which led to him passing out then waking up to chase m'Lord Crow with a brief forced awakened Doujutsu..

I think sasuke was pushed to 2 but the trauma m'Lord Crow put on him ****ed him up.. so when haku hit the mirrors on em he went 2t and 1t in the other. Then chuunin exam oro fight pushed his full resolve over the situation of his fam. I think he had to mentally mature a lil in his case.

Yes they all can like hyuuga but after the village clicked up most Uchiha didn't have to ALL be savages so many weren't in positions to feel extreme emotions and tap into their Sith shit lol

No. He was basically Naruto as an Uchiha. He even admitted that he saw too much of his old self in Naruto, and that was why he spited him.

Nevertheless, this is Obito awakening his 2-T Sharingan. His words before awakening it shows that it wasn't awakened out of negative emotions. He wanted to be able to protect his friends instead of get saved as was usually the case.
