Madara only help Itachi kill them because they betrayed him. He knew no matter they would/could do they would al ways be under lock and key so when he wanted to revolt they betrayed him and he left. Many years later they relized he was right and tried to plan a cuop d' etat and he help rid the world of them becuz they azz holes.........the Uchiha clan deserved

Madara acted ALONE and decided to overthrow Konoha and lost.
There was no evidence shown that the First hokage was gonna make the Uchiha lap dogs.

Madara acted so Konoha acted then the whole Uchiha police/lock up started to stop any more mutiny like Madara. There would have been a high chance that there would have not been any mutiny without Madara as he was only one against the truce.

Madara the pinhead he is, wanted to stir things up again. He attacked the village again and as a result framed the clan. Konoha acted again, they started to suspect an Uchiha as they though Madara was dead. They segregated them from the village. What would you have done, given him chocolates instead? Someone with the sharingan killed the forth hokage this is a VERY serious crime. And then came the massacre when they couldn't find any info as to which Uchhia committed the crime(note danzo and advisers acted alone here). So Itachi started his wiping spree and Madara ofcouse loved it, he wanted to kill the Uchiha. The Uchiha didn't betray Madara, they wanted a truce how is that a betrayal. If anything Madara betrayed them, he left them then he framed them then he killed them all because he didn't get the hokage title. I can't believe Sasuke somehow doesn't realize that even if Itachi didn't kill his parents, Madara would have anyway.

Madara is a coward and not fit to rule in my opinion and a very bad sore loser and makes the Uchiha clan look bad, totally different to Itachi. This was just like how the older son of the So6P attacked his younger brother for being picked as the successor. Sasuke in my opinion is different from Madara when it comes to motivations, they are more about love for these clan and family as oppose to power. Just wait when he realizes Madara has been framed the clan ever since he first attack the village, there's gonna be some serious dislike there.

Something that I just wanted to point out...

The Uchiha are indeed badasses, however, the problem that the Uchiha encounter is that they're fighting against everyone, including other Uchiha.
The Uchiha have a history of murdering their family and friends all in the name of personal power. You don't walk over and shake hands with someone who actively wants to kill their friends.

The Uchiha legacy is that of the first son of the Rikudo sage; they have a legacy of hate.

The Senju on the other hand, don't have that issue. They're noted as being descended from the second son of the rikudo sage, which means their legacy is Love, and they've certainly shown that to be the case.

The point here is, no man is an island unto himself and only fools pretend it to be so.

The Uchiha clan does produce powerful individuals, but that's all they are. Individuals. The Senju are a powerful clan.

1st/2nd hokage/ Tsunade = 100% senju
4th / naruto / = senju form what madara said
3rd / konohamaru - imo also senju

1st had wood skills, control over all the biju ( he splited them up betwen the vilages ) and was uber pr0 powerfull ninja, so yeah we dont know what he had, but lets face it, he had some skills

2nd - "edo", impresive power with water jutsus ( some anbus got exided by the amount of water when he had a pvp with the 3rd ). So he had smarts ( to be able to use edo ) and a huge chakra amount

Tsunade = bigest breas.. i mean skills in medic jutsu, again chakra related

4th / naruto - only tu summon gamabunta you need a big chakra amount, and there is still the rest like rasengan, so again big chakra

3rd - superbrain and jutsu knowledge, as an big chakra amount ( his age and still powerful jutsus )

konohamaru - that kid can use kagebunshin and rasengan so another big chakra holder

So the senju have big amounts of chakra and that gives them the option to use many powerfull jutsus, and thats is why they could own uchihas
