Description: Twin Dragon Rings are two almost identical rings which are made of solid, indestructible, coil-patterned gray material, with respective colored gems in the middle. One ring's gem has a dark/red pigment, whereas the other one has a light blue/light yellow shade. The gems are surrounded by two dragons facing the opposite of each other. It is said that they originate from an isolated region of the ninja world. The person who has created them remains a mystery, but legend says that he died upon finishing creating those. In the last moments of his life, he gifts them to his two twin sons. The sons, however, became corrupted with power and started using them for bad deeds. Eventually, they would confront each other and have a death-match. At the end of the fight, both brothers fell lifeless, however, the rings respectively on their fingers remained shiny. The twins' corpses started to rot, but nature had no effect on such rings. People would also not near the rings because they believed they would cast a curse upon you. That said, the rings have remained untouched for ages. During his travels, Feitan got to find about these rings. Without worrying about anything, he would take a hold of the two rings. Studying them, he realized that these could be used to amplify his main ability; Dark Release. With that in mind, he began working on these rings and would put them on.

The main thing Feitan noticed about these two rings, is that both rings were always ready to give the user extra chakra when needed. Making use of this feature, Feitan manipulated these rings to amplify his Dark Release techniques. The dark/red ring, he would name it the "Absorption" ring, and the light blue/yellow one, he would name it the "Release" ring. The rings also have the ability to sense any kind of chakra or energy, both techniques and beings alike (people, summons, clones, etc). The mechanism of this lies within the rings constantly releasing dark chakra waves omnidirectionally, similar to Revival Fist technique. However, unlike the actual technique, these shock waves are harmless. These shockwaves are invisible and act like detectors and sonars, but will take 5 chakra points every turn from the user. Though, this is only a small part of what the rings are capable of. The main abilities of them are divided into two parts, "Absorption" and "Release".

"Absorption" ring
This is the dark/red ring. This ring will grant him the ability to enforce absorption-related techniques. The most common example will be the Inhaling Maw technique. Whenever it is used, the ring will glow in its respective colors and assist in increasing its rank by one, thus allowing the user to absorb stronger techniques. These will include S-rank Wind/Lightning/Fire techniques, F-rank raw chakra and B-rank water. It has no effect on earth techniques. The rank won't increase for S Rank or above techniques of this kind. However, the user can alternatively only add half the amount of damage, so +10, or the user will spend less chakra without weakening them (specifically -10). The user however can only at a time.

This is the light blue/yellow ring. This ring amplifies release-based techniques. Whenever these kinds of techniques are used, the ring will glow in its respective colors and enforce said technique by increasing its rank by one, making them greater and stronger. However, the user can alternatively only add half the amount of damage, so +10, or the user will spend less chakra without weakening them (specifically -10). The user however can only do one at a time.

He had no idea for how long he was in his slumber. But one thing for certain was that the ninja standing in front, was from his village. Feitan smirked, a great chance to teach him a thing or two... by torture of course. Not keen on chit chats, the Tsuchikage focuses Meiton chakra in his right mark, bringing forth a glossy dark creature which took solid shape and was placed behind Feitan. This creature, made of Dark chakra, was a peculiar spider. Just like any other spider, it had 8 legs, a set of eyes on each side of its head so it had 360 vision, and... yes, you guessed it, (maybe not) a pair of wings, open and ready to take action whenever necessary. The spider was five meters in length, and 2 meters in width. Each of its legs were three meters long, and each one of those were extended forward, covering Feitan inside of them and acting as a sort of "cage". It almost resembled of a mother protecting her child. A leg of the spider was wrapped around Feitan's ankle in order to push him up should danger arise, but gently enough to let him move as well. The other legs were scattered in a way that Shouto would have a very limited view of Feitan's body. For the sake of specification, he could only spot irregular parts of the Dark user's body, not enough to make out his actions whatsoever.

(Meiton: Tentei Mikon no Hanto) - Dark Release: God of the Wild Hunt

Description: The user will focus their chakra into one of their dark marks to release a copious amount of meiton chakra from within it. The released chakra will form into any animal, creature or hybrid they can think of and it will exhibit enough tangiibility to interact with solids (the same as Fire Release: Dragon Flame Release Song Technique) . They will also be capable of basic functions within the confines of their physical capability e.g. humanoid figures can run/walk, winged figures are capable of flight, etc. The created creature can be as small as it's real life counterpart or be as large as the Great Stone Golem. These creatures can last up to three turns and will passively sap 10 chakra from their creator every turn to sustain themselves. Alternatively, the user can instead release a wave of meiton chakra from their dark mark that contains countless grotesque creatures residing inside of it. This seething mass will contain all manners of creatures, though all of them will be monstrous hybrids which barely resemble any living animals. This "horde" variant can cover the same scope as Fire Release: Great Fire Majestic Annihilation and will travel as fast as a standard lightning technique. Despite being composed of several animals, all of them are attached to this central wave/horde and so the power of this technique is not divided between the individual creatures, it's regarded as one whole. Regardless of which variant is used, the creature or the horde can absorb techniques following Dark's elemental S/W, namely neutral techniques of the same rank (S-Ranks F Rank for elements weak to Dark, B-Ranks A-ranks for elements strong to it). Upon absorbing a technique, the creature/horde can convert itself into an inferno of purple flames. This "horde" variant is a stream much like the aforementioned fire technique and so it will only last for as long as it's maintained or overpowered/destroyed.

In a sudden moment, snakes emerge and grab the opponent, restricting his legs and as well as hands as they slither. Having a paralyzed enemy in front of him, Feitan makes use of an opening in the spider's "cage", and hurles an explosive tagged kunai in the direction of Shouto's neck.

The Ninth Tsuchikage Feitan, surely a worthy opponent for Shouto. Being unable to hide his excitement a smirk is formed across Shouto's face, looking forward at pitting his Ice powers against the Tsuchikage's Darkness. As Feitan proceeds to manifest the spider that would coil around him Shouto, having no intention to allow his opponent any free rein to make preparations, thrusts his right arm outward manifesting a single circular disk of ice that immediately targets Feitan. The disk approaches Feitan across an outward, horizontal arc to strike him from his left, easily cutting through the Dark creation as well as Feitan's body if left unattended. The disk is passively enhanced through the ability of Shouto's Rune of Strength. Simultaneously to the disk's creation Shouto throws a single tagged kunai directly towards Feitan, because surely the spider wouldn't be able to protect Feitan's full body from that position making it nigh impossible for him to be left completely unaffected by an explosion if it occurred right in front of him-.. which was the plan at least.

"Your Darkness-.. or my Ice, let's see which will come out on top!"

Immediately following his initial action the veins around Shouto's eyes appear to bulge outward as his eyes turn white, indicating the activation of his Byakugan. As though waiting to see his opponent's reaction Shouto refrains from launching further assault and instead just observes Feitan's every move with his Byakugan.

Description: The user will gather particles into the air and change them into a disk of ice. The ice disks are transparent, and they are therefore nearly invisible at a distance, and difficult to dodge or see until they are very close. They can also be used as highly durable shields or can be used to allow the user to hover in the air by using standing on it. Because of their transparency, the ice disks can be used as a large lens to focus rays of heat from the sun into a powerful beam to capable of melting or exploding a pinpointed area.
the Rune of Strength (right armguard) grants a simple enhancement which the user can passively make use of to strengthen their ice techniques at their choosing. The rune will act as a catalyst and draw an additional 20 chakra from the user's body and use it to strengthen the ice jutsu the user has activated, causing it to increase in size, coldness, and density thereby largely increasing the effectiveness of almost any given technique. As a result, the jutsu will gain one rank in power if it is A rank or below, or +10 if it is S rank or above. This must be applied at the start of a jutsu; it may not be applied to something the user has active.
(Dōjutsu: Byakugan) Eye Technique: The All Seeing White Eye

Description: One of the Three Great Dōjutsu (San Daidōjutsu), the Byakugan is the dōjutsu kekkei genkai of the Hyūga and Ōtsutsuki clans, inherited from Kaguya Ōtsutsuki. Bearers of this Dõjutsu have almost featureless white eyes. When the Byakugan is activated, the user's pupils become more distinct, and the veins near their temples bulge as the blood flow to their eyes is increased. While having the Byakugan deactivated, shinobi with have a normal eyesight and no special addition to their vision. While low rank Hyugas will need to perform a sequence of hand seals ( Horse → Tiger with lifting just index fingers → Boar with nearly straightened fingers → Hare → Rat → Dog → Horse → Dog → Hare → Rat → Boar with nearly straightened fingers → Snake with the right index finger lifted straight up) to activate their Byakugan, Hyuga masters and Otsutsuki clan members will be able to do so without the need for any hand seals and even have it active passively for long periods of time. Once activated, the user gains access to all of the abilities the Byakugan bestows upon them. While, like other Dojutsu, its main ability is to see chakra and the chakra flow in sentient beings, the Byakugan adds a complete new detail and dimension to that ability. Not only can they see chakra flow, but also the circulatory system and even the 361 tenketsu (even of their own). Added to this ability, once activated the Byakugan grants the user a near perfect field of vision 360º around himself (up to long-range if they're a master). This field of vision has only one blind spot; slightly above the 3rd thoracic vertebrae and facing backwards. The last ability the Byakugan has is the ability to zoom in and out, focusing on specific things, piercing beyond matter and energy alike. This specific ability allows the user to see pass most barriers as well as physical matter (like rock walls, ground, etc) but also energy, being able to focus beyond chakra that might be in front of them or other energies. The zooming ability is enhanced as the user becomes more adept at using his eyes and can even reach distances above 20kms away.
Note: For Hyugas, activation spends a move from the users own move count but once the user reaches Sannin Rank and has gained mastery over Gentle Fist for 1 month, he can activate it passively without spending a move. Because of its low chakra cost to maintain, the user can keep it active throughout the whole fight as long as he has chakra and stamina to do so.
Note: Genjutsu that requires Eye Contact when used against a Byakugan user requires direct eye contact between enemy pupil and user's pupil
Note: Hyugas must be activated to use Gentle Fist (Jyuken)
Note: Its tracking abilities are equal to that of 3 Tomoe Sharingan.
Note: Only Hyugas possess the ability to utilize Jyuken, However, all Otsutsuki clan members possess the ability of passive activation.

The spider quickly acted and grabbed Feitan by his feet to throw him on top of its back as it simultaneously flew upwards and forward, moving out of the way of the cold icy disk which went further into oblivion after clearly missing its target. Sitting on one knee on the back of the Meiton spider, he grunted as he focused Dark chakra two meters all around Shouto. This chakra took the manifestation of a near invisible 2cm thick dark layer on the ground. The latent Dark technique would have Shouto inside its grasp should he try to fit the criteria of the technique, which he would not be aware of as he had other things to occupy him. That is, three explosive tagged kunais which Feitan responded with in the same time frame we're talking about. One would meet with Shouto's own, and the other two went diagonally downward (since Feitan is flying on his spider, roughly five meters above ground level, and the spider/Feitan is 7 meters before Shouto) aimed at Shouto's legs.

Meiton: Mōtaru no naitomea - Dark Release: Nightmare of the Mortal

Description: A technique which is controlled by the user and considered to be very fast in performance, the user activates either dark mark on his palm and sends a near invisible dark layer to reside on the ground. It is 2cm thick and the size of this layer is usually up to the user, but it cannot be larger than the short range radius from any target. The mechanism of this technique lies within any sudden movement done by a target with his feet. Be it a jerking movement in order to run, or simply a foot stomp, the dark layer will trigger and a total of two black, adult-sized and with elongated forearm arms will emerge from the layer and capture the target in mid-movement, restricting their movements. The way the hands emerge is dependant on how the user describes them in his move. These hands have the ability to absorb chakra, and as they start sapping, they gain a slight blue hue, and this will further increase their grip on whatever body part of the target. With the performance of one handseal, the user is able to set these hands aflame; creating a sea of full of blue flames which can cause 2nd degree burns to the target.

Feitan's actions weren't sufficient to prevent Shouto from activating his Byakugan, who counters the two kunai coming his way with two regular kunai of his own while his Byakugan is manifested. During his aforementioned actions Shouto wouldn't have met the criteria required to trigger Feitan's dormant technique, despite him not knowing about it. However, with his Byakugan now active Shouto could clearly see the chakra built up on the ground beneath and around him. With Feitan having taken to the air atop of the dark spider Shouto chose to go with a similar action. The Barnacle Hunters attached to Shouto's body propel him upward and slightly backward, reaching a height of five meters as well while moving roughly three meters backward and would incidentally move him away from the trap laid by Feitan. Simultaneously to the Barnacles propelling him up and away Shouto also took action, releasing a cluster of needles clad in ice chakra that takes on the form of a swarm of swallows. The swallows are initially directed to strike the left side of Feitan's head but being capable of changing direction mid-flight they would curve to avoid the spider atop which Feitan was standing if he were to choose to use it to swat down the swallows.

When the Byakugan is activated, the user's pupils become more distinct, and the veins near their temples bulge as the blood flow to their eyes is increased. While having the Byakugan deactivated, shinobi with have a normal eyesight and no special addition to their vision. While low rank Hyugas will need to perform a sequence of hand seals ( Horse → Tiger with lifting just index fingers → Boar with nearly straightened fingers → Hare → Rat → Dog → Horse → Dog → Hare → Rat → Boar with nearly straightened fingers → Snake with the right index finger lifted straight up) to activate their Byakugan, Hyuga masters and Otsutsuki clan members will be able to do so without the need for any hand seals and even have it active passively for long periods of time. Once activated, the user gains access to all of the abilities the Byakugan bestows upon them. While, like other Dojutsu, its main ability is to see chakra and the chakra flow in sentient beings, the Byakugan adds a complete new detail and dimension to that ability. Not only can they see chakra flow, but also the circulatory system and even the 361 tenketsu (even of their own). Added to this ability, once activated the Byakugan grants the user a near perfect field of vision 360º around himself (up to long-range if they're a master). This field of vision has only one blind spot; slightly above the 3rd thoracic vertebrae and facing backwards. The last ability the Byakugan has is the ability to zoom in and out, focusing on specific things, piercing beyond matter and energy alike. This specific ability allows the user to see pass most barriers as well as physical matter (like rock walls, ground, etc) but also energy, being able to focus beyond chakra that might be in front of them or other energies. The zooming ability is enhanced as the user becomes more adept at using his eyes and can even reach distances above 20kms away.
Note: For Hyugas, activation spends a move from the users own move count but once the user reaches Sannin Rank and has gained mastery over Gentle Fist for 1 month, he can activate it passively without spending a move. Because of its low chakra cost to maintain, the user can keep it active throughout the whole fight as long as he has chakra and stamina to do so.
Note: Genjutsu that requires Eye Contact when used against a Byakugan user requires direct eye contact between enemy pupil and user's pupil

Description:
The user makes 2 hand seals and swipes blood across their barnacle tattoo, they build up a large amount of water in their mouth and shoot it out as a harmless torrent of D-Rank water which would have a group of barnacles that would hit target and attach onto the part they were hit on (the torrent may be harmless but it still pushes the opponent back as it has a little force). Barnacles don't have to be summoned this way, they can be directly summoned onto the User. After the Barnacles Attach to the opponent and use their feather like appendages to beat against the air, manipulating the wind and creating currents that push the opponent towards the user or a desired direction which would also surprise the opponent and can stop them from performing a hand seal - the wind has great force and is like a stream which will push the enemy continuously until the barnacles stop. Barnacles MUST be attached to the opponent to do this the wind causes no damage and cannot be avoided with the Barnacles attached to them.

The Barnacle Hunters also have an ability when they are attached the the USER, they are capable of doing the same thing that can be done with the opponent - pushing them in a direction using the wind, however it's usually for their benefit. of course the continuous wind blast costs a move and can be stopped at any time with the user's will, also the barnacles can maneuver the user in a way which would be very similar to floating/flying, capable of changing direction mid-flight. If they so wish they can make a sharp direction change whilst flying, which would send the user in another direction suddenly costing a turn. They also have another ability to add Wind Chakra into techiques done by the user, meaning they will get a reduction is chakra used by the user (Wind Technique's chakra cost is halved), and they do not have to be stuck the user for this - they can be on the field (like if they missed attaching to the target).

These Barnacles are of the Thoracica "Acorn" kind and have a Calcite Shell so they cannot be killed or removed by simple blades, the opponent can't even cut off the section of clothing they are latched onto as they are actually pressed up against their skin through the clothing using chakra. B-Rank or below elemental ninjutsu cannot break through the shells bar lightning, which is only C-Rank and under, However Paralysis techniques like Nagashi does not affect the Barnacles and they will remain latched onto their opponent - Barnacles cannot be paralyzed.

Description: The user will shoot out a cluster of needles, shaped like swallows, which will fly out toward their target with great speed. The swallows are unable to be dodged as they can change direction in mid-air, redirecting themselves to hit their target. This jutsu is also highly resistant to fire attacks, unable to be destroyed by fire jutsu unless it is higher than C ranked.

As soon as the two additional kunais were released, and as well as having sensed the build up in Shouto's eyes, Feitan immediately acts by taking a single, vertical leap, thus remaining in the air as the flying spider launches towards Shouto vertically downwards. (Since it was hovering) In unison with the spider going towards the Ice user, Kyudaime who was air-bourne would direct his palm forward, and from his dark marks, he'd release a massive amount of Dark chakra which takes the form of a violet hemispherical dome. This would encompass the area between the point of the release (So Feitan's hand, thus leaving Feitan out of this orb) and to short range behind and all sides surrounding Shouto, which upon full creation exhibits solid like tangibility. The spider was not hindered by this technique, as it was Tsuchikage's own creation and thus, remains unaffected. (Note that the spider would already be inside the sphere as it is being created) The violet orb would absorb 50 chakra points from Shouto and would be able to absorb any technique it is able to, as long as it is used inside of it or in short range away from it. Meanwhile, the spider would block the kunai's path and go straight for the kill against an enemy who was limited his movement, thanks to the Dark layer beneath him. "It's time I wrapped this up." Feitan says as he reaches his apex and starts to descent. The spider uses its vicious limbs to grab onto Shouto and rip his organs out.

Should the violet barrier absorb any technique or chakra, Feitan makes it explode by obliterating everything inside of it.

(Meiton: Kuro Rengoku) - Dark Release: The Black Cauldron

Description: The user will focus their chakra into one of their dark marks to release a violet hemispherical dome. This orb of dark chakra can expand in a single direction or in every direction from the point of release. Either way, it can only span a mid-range radius at the very most. The chakra will exhibit the characteristic absorption traits of Meiton and thus will drain anyone (barring the user) of 100 chakra upon coming into contact with them. This chakra drain is exacerbated due to the dome's intangibility and so it will phase through the opponent upon passing through them. If the opponent is caught and trapped within the dome, they will constantly lose a smaller portion of chakra per turn (50 chakra). The dome will also absorb any techniques used within short-range of it or inside of it (excluding the user's own) by drawing them into itself through the use of vortexes similar to those used in Inhaling Maw. This will enable it to absorb neutral techniques of the same rank, one rank below for elements strong to Dark and one rank above for abilities weak to Dark. Upon fully expanding to encapsulate the opponent and/or the user, the dark chakra which composes the Cauldron will exhibit solid-like tangibility. This means it will keep solid techniques inside/outside of it after absorbing their chakra but more importantly, it can be destroyed by techniques which exceed it's threshold for absorption. At any point, the user can passively siphon any chakra absorbed from people or techniques by the Cauldron into their dark mark by placing it in contact with the dome. Alternatively, the user can have the dome explode into a maelstrom of purple flames once it has absorbed any chakra or a technique.
