Two questions

Ok so I found an I phone, its not an i phone 4, its the version before that i think, and im planning to flash it to the one i have right now, which is t mobile, and the i phone is at & t I bealive, so would I lose any original content from the i phone if i flash it ? And another question, I wanted to buy a ipod touch, but they told me I shoudnt because they say the i phone and the i pod touch are basically the same thing, that you can also use your i phone as an i pod..? is it true? What is the difference between the two?

difference between ipod and iphone is that iphone can make calls

if you have an iphone, dont get an ipod. An iphone is literally the same thing but you can make phone calls in addition. So that saves you a few hundred right there. As for the content Im not sure, as ive never had an iphone.

Your 2nd question.

Iphone is the father of Ipod and Itouch. Iphone consists everything what Ipod has. Just that, if im not wrong you need a bigger memory for Iphone in order for you to listen to ton of musics. But that's not the case btw.

its the same as an ipod except that you can make calls but you have less memory, iphone 4 IMO is better than an ipod
