tsunade actually is kind of definition wise the perfect hokage, a protector of the village.

she can make thousands of tiny slugs and heal everyone, thats protecting the village to a whole new level other hokages couldnt do, even better is its a perfect example of a defensive offence.

Go hide somewhere and heal your military, its literally like having double the military, because 1st round if they all get injured you can simply heal them for the 2nd round where the enemy is weak from the 1st round, whereas the other hokages were simply 1 on 1 battles

(1st vs madara, 3rd vs orochimaru, 4th vs 9tails)

I don't think that will happen. I'm pretty sure that Tsunade will face Pain. She understands the situation and after seeing that Kakashi is dead (or alive but dying). She will not let anyone get killed to save her.
