I don't think it's about Tsunade's faith in Sakura, rather that she has an abundant amount of faith in Naruto.

That she said; "Naruto has no choice but to recuperate on the way."

That speaks volumes to me, a general belief that, in the end, it's down to him.

... and then it's assigned to Sakura, as an afterthought. A mere technicality due to her having chakra left. After her failure to heal Shikamaru, and Tsunade prevailed with (apparent) minimal effort... I wouldn't say the whole scenario spoke volumes on behalf of Sakura's talent, or Tsunade's opinion of it.

Don't bash Tsunade because she didn't leap when Naruto needed help this time.. It was the best move to make at the time..

Yea, she probably did wanna help, but shes also smart enough to see its not an ideal situation. She was lower on chakra at the time than sakura was, and it would be tougher to squeeze both of them onto gaaras sand.
Even if she wanted to go, it's easy to see its not the smartest move
