Tsunade VS Pein

First let me say, according to the confirmed spoilers pictures of manga 421, Tsunade is on her way to fight Pein.

Now we all know that Tsunade isn't going to kill Pein. But what we will see, as HUGE naruto anime fans have been waiting years for this moment, the moment where Tsunade shows US what she can do at 100% fighting ability. The last time Tsunade showed any serious true strength was against Kabuto+Orochimaru. But all the sannin had extreme handycaps. And even after Tsunade was banged up after Kabuto and Orochimaru, she still TOLD Kabuto, "you'll be dead soon enough". So being sliced by orochimaru several times and being hit by Kabuto's muscle scalple jutsu several times. Also going through a trama from her x-boyfriend and brother caused by Orochimaru. She still had the chakra and guts to tell Kabuto AND Orochimaru that she will kill them when she was done healing Naruto.

Folks.......Tsunade isn't called a Sannin for nothing, she also has, confirmed by Jiraiya, the power and knowledge to be Hokage. Having the title of Sannin AND Hokage is something nobodyelse has ever accomplished in this series.

I think it's time to start focusing on the last remaining Sannin alive. Even if she is the weakest of the 3 sannin, she isn't AT ALL, by ANY means, "weak".

Her medical/healing power surpass any other ninja. Which brings me to how Pein will even kill Tsunade.

Pein killed Jiraiya because Jiraiya thought he finished Pein off and dropped his guard, only to be done-in by Pein. Then later killed. But Tsunade's healing powers won't let her be defeated by shear jutsu power. She will just heal all the damage done by Pein within seconds. So she almost has a unique type of immortality to her. Pein will have to use either genjutsu or some EXTREMELY powerful finishing ninjutsu move on her to kill her.

Nobody knows for sure what Tsunade is TRUELY capable of, but one thing is certain, she won't go down without giving Pein some HEAVY difficulty.

Jiraiya would have been able to defeat Pain if he fought him one-on-one.

Now that all of them are scattered, she should be able to stand a chance at least.

Hmm I said she wasn't useless, not that she could defeat Pein.. the fact that I think she'll be able to fight with Pein for longer than say, Kakashi, is faith enough imo.

Remember that Pain killed Salamander Hanzou (Amagakure) and Hanzou defeated all 3 Sannin. I doubt Jiraiya would have won even with his guard up, he may have been able to survive though. I don't think that Tsunade stands much of a chance against Pain.

I also think it'll be a short battle in which Tsunade gets whooped. She is an elite medical ninja, but when it comes to offence all we've seen is super strength and devastating punches. I doubt that any of that will land on a fighter of Pein's calibur. Hope she has some more tricks up her sleeve, will be cool to see her at 100% and with Jiraiya's death fueling her rage to kill, before she was weakened and seemed more hesitant.

The sannins were young when they fought Hanzou (the fight happened over 20 years ago).

No doubt the Sannins have gotten stronger since then.

the sannin fought hanzou like 20-25 years ago. they have 10x as much power and jutsu now.

Pein has 6 bodies, he can do this through rinnegan, in the chuunin exam naruto taught us that soldier pills and tag teaming with animals and summons is allowed.

I find it funny how when konoha gang up on akatsuki like 6-9 on 1, its cool, as soon as pein does 6 on 1 everyones like "peins so cheap, he gangs up" etc

Its really double standard and hypocritical.

Pein has a bloodlimit that allows him to use 6 bodies, let the dude use em, hes been born with that gift and has honed it, sharingan can be shyte or uber powerful, depending on the work you put into it, same with rinnegan, nagato couldve just not bothered honing his skills..

Yeah, but so has Hanzou, and pein defeated Hanzou in theory relatively recently (akatsuki has only been known for 5 years ish, if that).

Remember if Jiraiya has had 25 years of extra experience since that fight-so has Hanzou.

Pein said jiraiya couldve defeated him if he knew his secret, whether that was him taking the piss with dry humour-we dont know.


As to tsunade, pein can dodge even kakashis moves, and long range attacks take too long to land, she better have some decent ninjutsu thats fast or she is screwed, she only has limited chakra and pein can knock it down fast.

Even jiraiya became exhausted near the end of the fight with pein, and he was in 95% sage mode (not quite as good as naruto)

and we all know natural chakra heals you and gives your stamina back, so imagine the strain of fighting pein without sage mode, he can wear his opponents out in 5-10 minutes probably.

Also naruto is not ready for pein with simply his natural talents, lets get real, to say naruto can beat pein is like saying he can beat jiraiya, yes, hes perfected sage mode, but jiraiya has tonnes more ninjutsu, and he is a lot smarter, faster, and knows all of narutos moveset.

Its not all about techniques, personally tsunades gonna get owned, unless she brings out some stuff we havent seen, which i desperately do hope, thatl be so cool, chances are tsunade will turn up to save kakashi whos being pwned.

Naruto needs to get faster and smarter, no doubt hes going to kage bushin pein into confusion, which personally just sucks, the real manga fights are pretty much the filler, repeatedly making copies of himself and firing some form of rasengan into them, damn give him some more ninjutsu and make him smarter!!!

However tsunades healing skills are limited, she said she cant repair damage naruto did with rasenshuriken...so....
