[Discussion] Tsunade vs Edo-Madara?

we will finally get to see wat tsunade can really do, i believe she has been greatly underestimated by most people and i think this fight (if it happens) will finally show us wat she is really made of but in the end i reckon she will come close but die
Kishimoto would not make the princess of the leaf fight against Madara alone due to the fact that her skills is more of a support fighter than a head on fighter like the other kages. Madara is a God like character so in order to defeat him there must be a collaboration of strong shinobi's fighting together to defeat this mighty beast and here is my prediction on those characters, Gara, Naruto, Tsuchikage and tsunade vs Madara.Tsunade by herself is rape due to her lack of skills in combat I must admit she is blessed with high chakara reserve due to being descendants from the Uzamaki and Senju clan but thats not enough to stop the all powerful madara.
I thought of that also, and it's another time to pick a new Hokage.
Yeah, most people underestimate her and sometimes, they over-rate her, I think she will die (if this fight happens), but I also think she will be a big part of this fight. Like Jiraiya being a big part in the "Pain Invasion Arc", because we all know Tsunade is related to Hashimara Senju.

i dnt think we have seen her full potential yet, just because all we see her do is support people doesnt mean she is not a good fighter i think this fight will show us wat she is made of

She is a supporting medical ninja. She's tough, but she's never pretended to be a front-line fighter. I think the best thing she can do in this battle is to release her chakra seal, give all her chakra to Naruto, and let Naruto go back into Kyuubi Cloak mode for the battle. Naruto is the strongest fighter on the field when he has full chakra, and the smartest move Tsunade can make is to be his backup/medical ninja.
I never said she was not a good fighter she is but not against powerful shinobi's like Madara, Gara, Raikage, or other S rank level Ninjas. She can take down mostly all jonins and A rank ninjas but S rank is way out of her league I think. A medical ninja is trained to support there comrades not to fight head on. She is powerful and have tons of endurance due to her Milotic regeneration jutsu allowing her to heal any damage cell or organ in her body so that she can prolong the fight and think of strategies that can stop her opponent. Watching there hands and feet stimulating any signs of weakness and countering it with her insane strength. Orichimaru told Kabuto that her style of fighting is ending a shinobi with just one blow and thats what have kept the princess alive. She dont need a set of combatic skills to fight her opponents cause one punch can do the trick so tsunade is more of a close range fighter to mid-range fighter skilled in Taijutsu and Medical ninjutsu. If she inherit any skills from her clan I am making a big bet that its forbidden sealing techniques

have u guys forgetten she s some sort of a relation to the first hokage? so kishi will knw wat to do or come up with...cant wait to see the results although it mite last tru three chapterz..........

This one is a good prediction, but she is fighting Madara, it will take her some time to get a good hit, he might not even hit Madara. But yes, I agree, Power doesn't always decide a fight, look back at Naruto vs Pain.
This post said what is in my mind, but I guess there will be more chapters since I think it will show more of Senju and Uchiha's Clans.
No, Actually the ending on that fight was all about TACTICS, not Power itself, Pain has advantage because of the Chibaku Tensei, Shinra Tensei and Banshō Ten'in, let me remind you that Naruto has lost his Sage Chakra, no Power from the Nine-Tails were available just him and his Jutsus.
-Naruto couldn't have pulled off a Rasengan to Deva Path's Body without knowing that there is that 5 sec. interval, he had to use a strategy because The Deva Path itself is unbeatable if you don't take the chance with that 5 sec. interval. xD!
One thing about Tsunade is her legendary medical abilities are on par with her combat skills because she causes her defensive healing into offensive attacks. Its the same principal. Her amazing chakra control is the reason shes such a good medic and with chakra enhanced strength. Where both require this chakra control.
I think Tsunade wont go healing this time, considering theres a big medic squad already, with Shizune as the commander. That should be enough anyway.
She could never defeat Madara alone, unless she has some kind of anti uchiha ninjutsu or something. But if she has nothing else than her strength to cope with, she must get really lucky to get a hit on him. Where I cant see how she could get close to him without help from the others.
I have a feeling that she will show some new skills, maybe even a KG. But to counter that theory, why didnt she use that against Orochimaru? Maybe simply because she couldnt or was to much out of chakra already, or that it would have little effect on him especially.
Besides, I dont think she will die. She passes on the dream for Dan and Nawaki through Naruto, to become the hokage. She will atleast see Naruto become finally become the Hokage.
