due to deidara's long range fighting style i believe he would win unless it was a cage match or a closed in battle ground Tsunade would win although katsuyu would come in handy but that just gives deidara a bigger target to hit

My first instinct was also towards Deidara, as long-range puts Tsunade at a disadvantage. However, reading these comments, I'm struck by how underrated Tsunade is for a hokage. I'd guess there's still several jutsus we haven't seen from her; when she's not plagued by hemophobia, she's an intelligent, adaptive shinobi.

That said, I do think Deidara will win (based on what we have seen so far from both).

Let's not get carried away with the long-range stuff though. Someone earlier said Tenten could take out Tsunade because she's a long-range fighter. That's borderline insanity right there.

Tsunade, from what weve seen so far is a close range fighter. She cannot touch deidora, nor can she use genjutsu or have the sharigan. I dont think deidora even needs c4, he can just bomb raid from above

You cannot compare ten ten to deidora. I get what you are trying to say, but deidora has this

Deidara, yes Tsunade is strong maybe not in your regulay type of strong but in medical jutsu, sommoning technique, has Yin Release( yes she does go look it up if you dont beleive me) and shes smart. But yes at the same time Deidara is stronger. His explosives C1 Tsunade might get away with but C2 nad when it gets to C4 she is dead.
