Well, I mean I'm not sure what circumstances you envision this fight taking place in. My assumption is neither side is prepped, both are apparently bloodlusted and ready to kill, and they'd be, what, 20-30 feet from each other maybe? Anything inside a few hundred feet Tsunade is going to be able to throw a rock or kunai at him with her vastly superior speed, reflexes, etc, and it's going to be flying at him propelled by the full strength of the physically strongest character we've seen in the manga thus far... at that speed, a rock or kunai will kill Deidara in one shot... so I'm just curious how you think he'll survive long enough in a blood lusted fight to use C4... is Tsunade just standing there, letting him do it?

You are severly undestaminating Deidara. He was able to defend himself from Gai, Lee Neji and Tenten when he had no arms and explosive clay. Not only that, he would kill them all, adding Team7 to that if it wasnt for Kakashis Kamui.
