every previous hokage deserves the title kage in thier own rights. weather its the 1st with his wood style and the ability to control the tailed beast, or the 2nd with his mastery of water style and his space time jutsu, also the third who in his prime was known as the professor because his mastery over all the jutsu in the leaf village, furthermore the 4th who was called the savoir by jiraiya. the 4th was the fastest ninja alive thanks to his space/time jutsu, and he also created the rasengan. even during the 3rd ninja world war their was a run on site order if anyone was to see him on the battleground. lastly he had extreme knowledge of sealing techniques. last but not least the 5th, lady tsunade, she is the best medical ninja in the world and also is the strongest strength wise. she created a the technique creation rebirth which gives her the ability to never die in battle until she runs out of the chakra. jiraiya stated that tsunade was the reason that the leaf won in the second ninja war. also if not for her alot more people would have been killed during the pain invasion of the leaf. if pain didnt use his technique to bring everyone back to life. what im trying to say really is that no one should underestimate any hokage. they each have thier own individual skills. but if i was to guess i believe minato could beat tsunade if it came down to it. however it would not be a battle easily won!

He was chosen to be the 4th Hokage because the third was old, they had been through a war, and was thinking that it was time to pass on the torch. Anyway, She is not the 4th, she was made the 5th, but only after Jiryai turned it down, She is bad ass and insanely strong but saying that makes her more powerful than Minato is baseless. He earned his reputation as the golden flash of Konoha through war, the same way that she earned her reputation as a Sanin, but wait, he didnt lose a fight to earn that title, he beat the crap out of all his enemies and created a weapon in his son that could be controlled in future generations. Learn your naruto before you start these kind of discussions, if you want to disagree, use facts from naruto to back up your claim, not the superman flash bull because in reality, she is simply the hulk, and minato would be closer to superman

She can't destroy mountains she isn't a tailed beast. And sakura can break the ground with a punch that doesn't mean she can beat naruto, sasuke, Kakashi, yamato, any akatsuki, any edo ninja ( living, since she's not a sealer) or any jounin/chuunin who can avoid a punch.

1.Have you seen how many of sakura's punches narutos taken? Also Speed always beats strength i recommend you take a look at trunks vs cell from dbz or for a real life perspective you could check out any number of bruce lee's matches where he fought against many opponents who were stronger then him and yet he used that strength to his advantage and beat them easily.
2.This is just a bold face lie, if you had read the manga you would know he was made hokage long before he sacrificed himself to save the village, he was a hero from 3rd ninja war. Sanin isn't really anything they just got that title for surviving against hanzo who was one of the greatest ninjas at the time. Also Rank means nothing in the naruto universe. Are you going to sit there and tell me that Sakura is better then naruto or sasuke because techincally by rank they are both still genin?
3. Flash vs superman isn't exactly a fair example for super man is ALSO faster then flash. A closer comparsion of the two would be imo super man vs hulk in terms of speed vs strength. But again if you can't hit your opponent you can't win, and even against the hulks regeneration powers he will eventually run outa steam against super man, or super man could just fly him into the space and let him chill out there forever. But to refute your posted statement, a small child with a peice of kryptonite could kill super man, so if flash had some kryptonite he could kill superman. In fact batman( ya know that no powerd super hero) has beat superman in a fist fight so i'm sure a super hero with super powers could do it.
4. Again rank means nothing in Naruto. Naruto is still a genin are you saying he's on the same lvl as Konohamaru and his gang?
5. Thanks to minato we have kakashi thanks to kakashi we have naruto and sakura. You can say that naruto was also trained by jirayia and that sakura was trained by tsunade but kakashi taught them the basics and gave them the skills they needed to progress without kakashi naruto and sakura would never have been taking under the wing of tsunade or jiriya. After it was kakashi's teachings that ultimatly lead naruto to his way of the ninja.

You forget about minatos space time trasporation technique, and you forget that tsunades regeneration powers can only heal a certain amount of dmg so while tsunade who will not be able to hit minato, minato will contiously dmg her to the point she will not be able to heal and then minato who has not been hit by her once will finish her off. Flawless victory. I like how you say minatos only justu is rasengan when we have yet to see tsunade use a single justu besides healing. To be fair we really haven't seen a lot of either minato or tsnade battles so we can't really judge how strong either of them are.
In short 90% of your logic is flawed would it be a fight yes, could she win yes, but is she 100% better then him no. Minato would most likely win in the end after all the show is named after his son.

Minato was the Legendary Flash who was feared by all the countries. They even told their shinobis to retreat whenever they fight him. Tsunade needed Jiraiya and Orochimaru to fight. He became Hokage before the Nine-tails attacked the village. He was made Hokage after the third shinobi world war when the 3rd Hokage decided to retire. Tsunade does not equal Superman because:
1. Tsunade is a woman.
2. Tsunade does not wear a cape.
3. Tsunade is unaffected by Kryptonite.
4. Tsunade does not come from the planet Krypton

Thanks to Minato we have Kakashi who was elected to become Hokage, I don't see Sakura or Shizune being elected as Hokage. Quality over quantity my friend. Sakura and Shizune together cannot defeat Kakashi so the number of ninjas Tsunade trained is irrelevant; Minato trained a ninja who is better than the other two combined. Oh and don't forget that Kakashi is also Sakura's sensei too.

I also believe that the Ramen shop owner is better than Tsunade because:
1. He cooks better food.
2. His food is really deadly in poison that even Tsunade can't find an antidote for it.
3. Ramen Shop Owner is a better title than Legendary Sannin.
4. Ramen Shop Owner is really Naruto's sensei, why do you think Naruto goes there all the time. To train obviously, and we all know that Naruto > Sakura and Shizune.
5. Tsunade's attacks will have no effect on Ramen Shop Owner because she will be so drunk on his awesome home made Sake.
6. Also, he is a better gambler than Tsunade.
So Ramen Shop Owner is stronger than Tsunade.
