Did anyone else notice the diamond on both Mito and Tsunade's head ? Also Mito is Tsunade's grandmother so is it something she has passed down to Tsunade ?

She is part Uzumaki, yes. It's likely that the diamond thing was a technique passed down by Mito, or it could be Tsunade's unique jutsu that she formed in that way to honor her grandmother. Nobody knows.

Look Hashirama's wife was Mito Uzumaki.Hashirama's granddaughter is Tsunade.So she is both Senju and Uzumaki.
