People like to say she dies because once her head is off her body, she can't use justu. Now tsunade
being a medical specialist don't you think decapitation would be something she knows about? She said medical ninjas are not allowed to fight because if they die who would support the team. Now when she activated she went straightforward at maddara. she wasn't concerned about what if i get cut in half and what if i get my head cut off.

Maddara then say if you rush in and get yourself killed the kages would be screwed. she then said if i get killed. I'm sure she can surive decapitation. If she couldn't what was the point of making medical ninjas learn byakugou so they can fight and support the team without dying. while their is a chance they can die from decapitation. I beleive she can surive it. I just beleive people overlook the main reason of byakugou. And tht is not dying. that includes decapitation or bisection. :)

Her Byakugou power stems from her forehead. How is she going to pulse chakra to the rest of her body for healing if she doesn't have a freakin' body attached?

Her heart works alongside her chakra system, so if she can't pump blood and chakra, how is she going to heal herself? The only reason she survived was due to her body being bisected below her heart and lungs.

Pretty much this unless someone has a valid counter.

ive been thinking about this for a while lately especially. <.<
her jutsu rapidly regenerates her cells forming and repairing her flesh... , but the seal is on her forehead..
if its gone... and gets lopped off.. who knows.. <.< maybe she could ... that would be great for her..
but her brain needs the vein in her neck that keeps it alive to the rest of her body..
it probably depends if Katsuyu was connected to her severed parts for her to still be able to perform jutsu though..

she dosen't need blood to help regenerate. She forces cell reproduction through chakra. And her chakra is stored in her head.
That being said she would regenerate from her head and down.
Head and down? So why didn't she just regenerate her other half back?

Both halves had to be put back into place to regenerate, she cannot grow back new body parts.

She dosen't need any vain connected. Her regeneration is forced. that being said she would regenerate till her chakra runs out.
katsuyu is only needed if she is bisceted and don't have her regeneration activated.

She cannot. If she could have, she would have. Everyone thinks she cannot die and is invincible. To those people, I have one thing to show.

She can't survive decapitation. Know the limits of your favorite characters. Besides the only person who can can hope to decapitate her would die if he tried (ay)

Noone else does it or fights that way even if knowing her jutsu it's still uncommon of the series.

Yes, ok, but to reconstruct entire organs, muscle and bone systems? I don't think such feats are even possible for the greatest medical nin.

The Byakugou conforms to the Hayflick Limit; cells can only reproduce/ undergo mitosis a certain number of times. Even if her chakra reserves are large enough (but remember, we're talking about her head only; there is only so much chakra in her head), the cells wouldn't be able to divide that much o completely regenerate her body.

And most likely, she'd have to prioritize regenerating her heart and lungs first, which is medically impossible with just a head.

My only consolation to your point, is if she was decaptitated, she'd have to be immediately be reconnected to her body and have the Byakugou active in order for there to be the SLIMMEST chance of regeneration.

Hidan is canonically the only character who can survive a decaptiation. As great as Tsunade is, she'd be a goner.

Even if she can she better hope she does it quick otherwise she won't be able to breathe and she would die..

Tbf that doesn't knock or disprove byakugou's possible feat as she wasn't in byakugou mode when that happened to her,

However I'm sure Tsunade cannot lose her head and survive. Any other body part i'm sure if she would connect the areas it would heal. But in the heat of battle thts impossible.

I would disagree. Despite stating proof you have given something more to an opinion based on statements

Moving on, the brain sends signals to the body by sending electrical pulses through neurons. This gives the body it's actions. If it is separated the body can no longer act based on the will of the brain. As a result, her bodies healing process would not subconsciously be activating, and even if it could, pending head roll it cannot reattach because 1 the body cannot move, 2) the head cannot move. With decapitation comes desth even if s body flails. The only person seen to survive is Hidan due to immortality; however, even then he could not move his body...because physically its impossible.

Tsunade crested the Byakugou to tank large scale attacks such as fire and stab wounds...however notice she was on her last legs when she had been bisected...without Katsuyu she couldn't put herself together despite having her seal still on her forehead. Instead she seemingly had to summon Katsuyu in order to be put back together instead of healing herself (though the summon was for.the Kage as a whole).

Based on human biology and her inability to simply create new legs from scratch (let alone something complex like an entire body or head), I'd say decapitation is still Hidan's realm of surivival.
