Tsunade is hokage level just because of her Medical jutsu and her reborn jutsu and she is strong along with her title but is she a great hokage no but then again oro wasnt around and j-man didnt want it so what could you do?

Having the name of Sannin or being related to Hashirama doesn't mean anything unless she was actually at a competent level to be the Hokage. And even if Tsunade didn't wake up and Kakashi became Hokage - It wouldn't mean Tsunade wasn't of Kage level, it just means Kakashi would have been her replacement.
The only thing I can see you saying is that she specializes in Medical Ninjutsu... And that's completely true, but what you fail to realize is that Tsunade is the greatest Medical Ninja alive. She's been hailed as a hero of Konoha by giving them victory in a World War.
Let me ask you this - Does Hiruzen deserve to be the Hokage? All you keep talking about is feats this and feats that, but you fail to realize what a feat even is. However we've seen nothing from Hiruzen... Or Hashirama... Or Tobirama... Yet I don't see you making posts about them not deserving to be Hokage. Apparently hearing a story from someone else is enough for you with them, but not with Tsunade?
What you also fail to realize is that what Tsunade did against Pein is considered a feat because you can't know whether or not Nagato was capable of reviving people let alone knowing he was actually going to do it.
Honestly, I just don't figure you guys. Yes, no doubt Tsunade is Kage level. However, these "haters" or let's just call them opposition fail to understand that just because she didn't get much screen/manga time, or hasn't recently been shown in great battles, she isn't worthy.
On the other hand a movie dialogue comes to my mind :

What feats? Let's see, to start with, she fought off Hanzou, one of the most feared and reviled enemies in the history of Naruto-verse. Secondly, she poisoned Jiraiya, knocked out Shizune in the blink of an eye, kicked Kabuto's ass with severed tendons, overcame a crippling phobia to heal a fatally wounded Naruto while being repeatedly stabbed with a sword, THEN completely healed all of her injuries, put a giant sword through the mouth of a giant snake, and THEN kicked Orochimaru's ass. When Pein attacked the village, her ninjutsu allowed for the simultaneous healing, transfer of info, and protection of THOUSANDS of villagers and shinobi at one time. Just because she knows more than how to throw herself onto the front line doesn't mean she's not an incredible ninja.Tsunade is not much of a fighter and shouldn't be considered kage level. She is the best medical ninja out there however but in battle prowess not so much. She got owned by Kabuto (lol seriously).

Absolutely not. Not only can Tsunade heal herself, but one punch is all it will take to wipe him out. AND she has a better summon than him.
How was she not strong enough to protect the whole village? When Pein FLATTENED the ENTIRE VILLAGE, she managed to protect all of the people who had Katsuyu attached to them. No other Kage would have been able to do that. Yeah, yeah, if they had killed him first, it wouldn't have been an issue, but what if they had been fighting another of Pein's bodies?It is true that she isn't that strong to protect the whole village ,but a strong medical ninja isn't that bad to ,she showed some taijutsu skills in the battle vs Kabuto

Medical abilities are never useless. Not only can she fight, she can constantly restore her physical health. If Oonoki was fighting Madara alone and took a sword to the gut, he's SOL, but Tsunade could heal herself. And Tsunade didn't just "protect some fodder ninja", she protected almost every living person in the village when Pein destroyed it. Kakashi couldn't even stop ONE of Pein's bodies, but Tsunade protected most of the villagers from his second most powerful attack.
Yeah, Oonoki can fly. TSUNADE CAN REGENERATE HER BODY. I think that's a little more epic than flight.
No, she isn't always calm. And when has she ever missed with a punch?
The Sannin thing is only hype in our universe, boy. In the Naruto world, it actually means something.

For me, if half a dozen elite ppl respect and fear you, then you are automatically an elite..

ok tsunade isn't that bad, she just need to work on her accuracy/speed then her brute strength would be at good use. And she worth being a kage because she knows the heart of people, she have a strong will, like when she yell at those lousy elders they have. An in naruto if you remember, she flick her fingers and send the twin giant brother flying backward while naruto and the his friends can't event hurt the brothers. Besides, have you seen how many people she can heal in the episode where pein invade the village??? and her brute strength isn't LEGENDARY for nothing. jiraiya said it himself that no one can stand equal to her taijutsu, to be honest i think her punch is a little more strong than the raikage punch ( in lightning armor ). I mean what kind of kid send a guy flying 100m ( tsunade punch jiraiya when they were small). Her ability must have improved and she may have not shown her greatest feat yet. I mean she sent orochimaru like 30 ft up in the air while her muscle were ripped. But i still seriously think she should create a new jutsu or 2 to enhance her battling chance, like an armor of wood ( since she IS the granddaughter of the 1 hokage, she MIGHT have the ability just didn't know it ) or something like the raikage. And maybe making her jutsu sharp too not just pure strong, and i think her chakra nature is earth ( strength ) and water ( healing ). i just hope she create new jutsu to help her in this great war i mean ITS A GREAT WAR!!!!! someone gotta improve and i hope it's her. U_U xd

2.one punch and that is all? oh really 1 kamui to her head and that is all?
1 chidori so the face and that is all?:shrug:
3. better summoning? kakashi can summon his best elite dogs to help him tsuanade has only shown that slug.
not to mention he has more long range jutsu.
kakashi can use head hunter mole jutsu and come up from under her and chidori her.

Yeah, Tsunade got beaten by Kabuto. Then again she hasn't fought in years prior to that battle because she was too busy gambling and drinking. I'd like to see you quit doing something for over 10 years and then be a pro at it the second you start doing it again.
Tsunade also said Kabuto's medical sense surpassed her own. Does this make him stronger than she is? No, it doesn't.
-Kakashi said Naruto surpassed him while they were doing his Wind element training. Does this mean Naruto was stronger than Kakashi back then? No.
-Fukasaku said Naruto surpassed both his predecessors (Jiraiya and Minato) when they appeared at Konoha's destruction. Does this mean Naruto was stronger than Jiraiya and Minato back then? No.
Saying that someone is better in this or that is a far cry from being interpreted literally.
A Kage isn't only suppose to be the most offensively based shinobi. They have to be both powerful and a good leader. There is nothing wrong with Tsunade holding the title of Hokage

She has better knowledge of poisons and antidotes than Sasori and Chiyo combined. She can cure any injury, sickness, or ailment. She can kill almost anyone with one punch. For god sakes even Orochimaru admits this and we all know that son of a bitch can hardly die
She's a medical expert. That's the whole point of her character. What she lacks in offense she makes up with her medical expertise. If Tsunade wasn't at the battlefield with the other Kages then they'd be dead. Had Tsunade not healed and restored Onoki and Gaara, they would have fallen victim to Madara's Yasaka Magatama.

Tsunade is far above a Jounin. She is one of the Legendary Sannin and the most powerful kunoichi in Konoha and quite possible the entire ninja world. To take it further, the grumpy and stubborn Elders even agreed to pass the title of Hokage to Tsunade when Jiraiya refused. There are other powerful shinobi they could have picked. Are you saying they agreed to make Tsunade the Hokage on a whim?
