Actually he is one of the Kakashi fans that thinks logically and doesn't wank/overhype Kakashi. Also EliteKakashi is a pretty hard fellow to argue against and I have debated with him on a couple of occasions.

Anyway Tsunade is more powerful than either Kakashi or Gai but they are not far from her level. As a matter of fact, Kakashi is Tsunade's worst nightmare whether you believe it or not. Lightning clones, speed, sharingan prediction will all play in Kakashi's favour. I believe Kakashi doesn't even need kamui to defeat Tsunade because if she is paralysed by a lightning clone, Kakashi can behead her with a raikiri.

Tsunade will beat Gai up badly though because taijutsu won't kill Tsunade and once the gates runs out, Gai is screwed.

Gai can't beat Tsunade that is pretty absurd. How is Gai outlasting Tsunade of all people and if his most powerful attack didn't kill a weakened Kisame, it isn't killing Tsunade. The acid mist is a big problem for Kakashi and I don't see how he can get around it. If he uses his scent, his nose will bleed because of the acid.

@OP: It depends on how they are matched up. I believe Mei could beat Kakashi but Kakashi beats Tsunade. On the other hand, Gai beats Mei but Gai loses to Tsunade. All in all it is all about the match ups. For now with these restrictions I'll go with the Eternal Rivals high difficulty.

Gai is too fast for Tsunade, she can't keep up with him even without gates. Tsunade is strong, but Gai is strong AND fast. His power is of the charts, especially in gates. Mei can't keep up with Kakashi either, acid mist isn't a problem because Kakashi is a long range fighter.

Kakashi is not dumb enough to smell acid. Kakashi makes short work of Mei with Raikiri, then goes and helps Gai finish Tsunade

Gai is not stronger than Tsunade even with gates. His attacks don't have any powerful feats compared to Tsunade. You said Mei's acid won't work because Kakashi is a long range fighter. Then you go on to say Kakashi makes short work of Mei with a raikiri. Are you trying to say that raikiri is a long range attack? If you say so than I don't know what manga you are reading. If Kakashi can't use his scent nor his eyes, how does he keep track of Mei? Yeah that is right he can't.

But the two will tag team her and cause her jutsu to run out and then kill her. If she gets paralysed by a lightning clones, Tsunade's head can be decapitated by a raikiri.

Just because one is a kage doesn't mean they are stronger than a non kage.

It has nothing to do with Kakashi at that point.

It has everything to do with Gai.

Gai in 8th Gate would likely be capable of ripping a human body in half/in to pieces(hell, he can probably do it in 6th or 7th). Tsunade isn't going to regenerate her head or reattach her body, I'm afraid.

Hell, Gai could just be the decoy in Gates, then Kakashi could use bunshin feats or simply use a surprise attack and behead her, if he has knowledge of her healing abilities(which, who doesn't..). Nagato was fooled by Kakashi by a lightning clone and he would have killed Asura path with his surprise attack if it wasn't for shared vision of the rinnegan.

If Kakashi is capable of doing those things to Nagato, and given the fact that he's the greatest or 2nd greatest strategist in the entire Narutoverse(only would be 2nd to Shikaku/Shikamaru, who are on similar levels), I have no doubts he can do so vs Tsunade with Gai helping him...if Gai even needed help.

Gai is capable of this in base, I have no real doubt he could remove body parts in gates:

His speed in Gates is not matched by Tsunade, nor could she even think of reacting quickly enough, who is tiered as barely above average in the databook in speed.
