Tsunade and Mei vs Kakashi and Gai

It has nothing to do with Kakashi at that point.

It has everything to do with Gai.

Gai in 8th Gate would likely be capable of ripping a human body in half/in to pieces(hell, he can probably do it in 6th or 7th). Tsunade isn't going to regenerate her head or reattach her body, I'm afraid.

Hell, Gai could just be the decoy in Gates, then Kakashi could use bunshin feats or simply use a surprise attack and behead her, if he has knowledge of her healing abilities(which, who doesn't..). Nagato was fooled by Kakashi by a lightning clone and he would have killed Asura path with his surprise attack if it wasn't for shared vision of the rinnegan.

If Kakashi is capable of doing those things to Nagato, and given the fact that he's the greatest or 2nd greatest strategist in the entire Narutoverse(only would be 2nd to Shikaku/Shikamaru, who are on similar levels), I have no doubts he can do so vs Tsunade with Gai helping him...if Gai even needed help.

Gai is capable of this in base, I have no real doubt he could remove body parts in gates:

His speed in Gates is not matched by Tsunade, nor could she even think of reacting quickly enough, who is tiered as barely above average in the databook in speed.

Well I agree with some things you said but Gai is a bad match up against Tsunade. Gai will own a lot of people including Kakashi with his speed but Gai's strongest move didn't kill a weakened Kisame, Tsunade can regenerate damaged body parts so Gai can not kill Tsunade. For the same reason Hidan>Gai even though Gai is much much more powerful and better than Hidan. Gai can't keep the gates up forever and once it runs out, he is screwed. Also Gai hasn't used 8 gates and it is just like me saying Sasuke uses perfect susanoo and own everyone. Although I agree Gai with 8 gates would destroy Tsunade completely, we haven't seen it therefore it can't be used.

Kakashi has a much better chance at soloing Tsunade even without kamui. Lightning clones are Tsunade's worst possible nightmare and once she is paralysed, Kakashi can behead her with raikiri.

This is debatable though but imo Tsunade>Gai>Kakashi>Tsunade.

You forget one key thing about the Kisame incident:

He wasn't trying to kill him.

If he really was trying to kill him, and Hiru Dora failed, he could have ended his life here:

Gai was still in Gates at this point and could easily have killed him. He wanted to save him for interrogation.

Plus, I wasn't even implying he'd use Hiru Dora to kill her. Just rip her head off. We know he has the speed and strength capable of doing that.

And even if that wants to be argued, after using Hiru Dora, she's gonna be down trying to regenerate. At that point, he could crush her head, or allow Kakashi to come over and just cut it off with raikiri.

It's an extremely brutal scenario, but it's more than possible.

I disagree, I don't think she could take Gai. Kakashi is debatable, though. Could go both ways with knowledge.

Gai is not stronger than Tsunade even with gates. His attacks don't have any powerful feats compared to Tsunade. You said Mei's acid won't work because Kakashi is a long range fighter. Then you go on to say Kakashi makes short work of Mei with a raikiri. Are you trying to say that raikiri is a long range attack? If you say so than I don't know what manga you are reading. If Kakashi can't use his scent nor his eyes, how does he keep track of Mei? Yeah that is right he can't.

But the two will tag team her and cause her jutsu to run out and then kill her. If she gets paralysed by a lightning clones, Tsunade's head can be decapitated by a raikiri.

Just because one is a kage doesn't mean they are stronger than a non kage.

I never said Gai was stronger, and who says he would punch Tsunade? He can just stab her with his Kunai, and no she cannot keep up with Gai in Taijutsu. He's to fast for her, and once he uses gates he will destroy her no problem. Who cares if his punches aren't strong enough, he has tools for a reason. She wouldn't even see Gai. Once Tsunade starts healing herself, Gai can just keep on stabbing until she's dead. She's no match for him.

Kakashi can use his eyes? He just can't use MS. Kakashi can get Mei with lightning transmission. In case you forgot, lightning Transmission is mid range, and poses no threat since Kakashi is using a clone. If you think that won't work, then Kakashi can use Lightning Beast Running Technique, which is long range. Also you have no idea if Mei can actually surround herself with mist.In case you didn't notice, the only time it actually worked was when she was in an enclosed space.

If she tries hiding in the mist, than Kakashi can still see her due to his Sharingan and then use silent killing. Mei's attacks are easily blocked and avoided. He can attack her from underground with Headhunter. She wouldn't see it coming if he uses clones as a distraction. Mei has never shown any kind of speed.

He could even sneak in A Thousand Years of Death if he really wanted to.
