you guys are retards.. if we assume jiraiya and tsunade has no intel on them, they will loose.. the only possible way that they could win if that is if they knew all the powers + kill the one that can regenerate the dead pains first.. you cant start a thread and not be specific whether they have intel or what prior to fighting..

if all out battle, the sannin MAY have a chance, speacilly since it's 2 brains + shima and fukasaku.

Don't forget tsuande's mitotic regeneration, with that she can't die so she could be like a human shield for jiraya until she ran out of chakra.

So, if they took out the path that revives peins and knew that yahiko's body is the most important, they may stand a chance.

If Jirayia at that time had Tsunade with him I really think they could have had stood a chance.

They mix a really good duo and they could have had numerous different tactics to either gain intel and just use attacks. They would easily down some bodies pretty quickly I think, and just then, they would have a advantage. The brute strength of Tsunade's could easily beat atleast one of the bodies out first. It wouldn't be easy to take out Jirayia and Tsunade fast, because of Tsunades rapid cell regeneration, that is if she releases her seal on the forehead. In that time as she regenerate all the time they can learn some intel.

Edit: But as we know, we still don't know everything about Tsunades abilities. The most recent new thing about her is just that she can expell a huge amount of chakra to heal the village under the attacks of Pain. We got yet to see.

I think she will lack the speed to keep up with the Jman (sage) - pain(mutliple vision) fight, she has a whole lot of strength, but it come's at a cost i think. Maybe Jman would fall protecting her.

Thats a very good argument. But then it really starts to matter on how much intel they have.

If anyone has speed it's kakashi. So what happened to that raiton kagebunshin? And suppose he hadn't made it in advance? So avoiding hits isn't always as easy when facing Deva Path.

that really wasnt the question, anyway i think the six paths would have still won, Tsunade would have helped in the sense that she could heal jiraiya but against pain tsunade couldnt really do all that much. Jiraiya took on three in sage mode but they can be reborn, all six vs 2 sannin idk i dont think the sannin would stand a chance, when all six came out jiraiya was done. they could prolly take out four at best but not all six

Hold down do not Say Tsunade is a hinderance, Fact Tsunade, Orochimaru and Jiraiya alone fought The Salamander leaders Army and defeated it thats why He gave them the name Sanin, that how they became legends, not one not two but all tree of them. Iam not saying that Pain would have lost to Tsunade and Jiraiya but that Having Her their She might have save Jiraiya from death.

Its hard to say. All of the six pains could also be trapped by Ma Frog and Pa Frog Genjutsu. But still, Nagato will be one tough dude to defeat. But overall, i'll bet on the two Sannins.
