Itachi is too fast to be grabbed by some sand.
Why can't Itachi use amaterasu when he is using susanoo. Also Itachi need not use susanoo from the get go and he doesn't use it until he really needs it. Anyway Itachi could beat Gaara too although he would have less difficulty dealing with Onoki. Magatama barrage takes on Gaara's sand defence. Itachi starts spamming crow clones on the battlefield and Tsunade restores Itachi's chakra.
Katsuyu keeps Gaara on his tip toes while Tsunade is busy doing her thing.
that 'sand' moved fast enough to block 3 entons from abt 6m three times easily. That sand also caught madara in his susanoo,so itachi will be caught too. Also,he can distract itachi with this

Even if healthy,itachi with ms cant stay in susanoo or long,whereaa gaara can keep going for 2 days straight with his sand.
Tsunade vs onoki is an obvious outcome dont you think?,she cant take advantage of jinton's weakness,abd she cant hit when he is flying.
this is alive itachi you know?and with ms. Using susanoo ama at the same time and he will be on the floor.
This scenario you made,is a 2 on 1,while tsunade heals itachi,what would onoki be doing?,how would she get to heal itachi when fighting onoki?,who would turn her and her slug to dust. If she does ignore him and heals itachi,onoki gets to form jinton which will deal with them.
Itachi dosent use his ms from the get go,thats true,but gaara uses sand tsunami frm the getgo,and onoki uses jinton from the getgo,so he will loose if he dosent start with his susanoo.
Gaara simply spams sand clones in response,which cant be caught in genjutsu and can use sand as well as regenerate,and are created with more chakra than itachi's clones,making them superior.onoki also has rock clones of his own.
