Tsukiyomi Vs Kamui

1. yet to kill anyone doesnt mean it cant because we havent seen him use it alot maybe 5 times or less?

2. he can kamui someone's head off? he was able to kamui a a nail going at the speed of a bullet from deva pain, he kamuied a fast moving rocket from asura pain? he kamuied sasuke's sussano arrow?

give kakashi a few more years of using kamui it would be more deadly.

I could argue about why it's so easy to track objects moving in straight predictable paths, vs a ninja retreating from him going in every direction, especially if someone like Deidara was to send exploding clay birdz at him while he was trying, and the trade off is too great, he uses it once or twice and is bed bound for a week, sorry to say but Kamui sux

Yeah true that but I think that you have a better chance at surviving if you get hit with Tsukuyomi than kamui.

Too general. For example, it can be escapable. I can see Minato ftging away like when Tobi tried to suck him away. And as far as I'm aware, only Uchihas can escape Tsukyomi. In fact, I don't know anyone other than Sasuke who has escaped Tsukyomi.

^^ Ya. Its a factor. As we know images reach our eye at the speed of light.. Since both jutsu uses direct eye contact to the opponents, Tsukiyomi requires eye contact whereas Kamui requires only user's eye contact, that is image, with any opponent's body parts. So basically Kakashi can Kamui Itachi's legs without making eye contact with Itachi's eyes...

if someone was a uchia like madara tsukuyomi would have no effect on him so i guess tsukuyomi sucks too right?

tsukuyomi has disavantages too,
1. might guy doesnt have to make eye contact he can just luk at his feet?
2. IF your a uchia you can break out of tsukuyomi stated by itachi so kamui isnt the only one with faults.:shrug:

I knew you'd bring it up, and again, where does a rocket go? Forward right? all he had to do was aim behind choji once again, a very predictable path, not really that impressive at all

^ I think Tsukiyomi is superior to Kamui, since Tsukiyomi uses visual contact then produces the effect immediately. Also the downside is no visual contact, no effect...

I'm going with kamui as It's not dependant on eye to eye contact. Making it more versatile offensiely and defensively. And that counts quite a lot in battle. Also sending someone or something to another dimension is more devastating than leaving someone comatose. My vote kamui

Kamui can only be escaped by Tobi and Minato and maybe Tobirama with whatever st tech he had so I scratch inescapable off but there's still no range and no eye contact. If Kakashi and Itachi just stand looking at themselves Kakashi can just Kamui his head off, he doesn't need to look at his eyes to look at his head, Kamui is faster prepared than Amaterasu which requires bleeding first(Kakashi can just Kamui as shown with Pain's nail) and if Kakashi opens the portal on Itachi's head, forming Susanoo will do him no good since the portal is already open. Kamui is the one Mangekyo tech that can counter all Three of Itachi's.

But how many people can fight without eye to eye contact? I doubt many could, and especially against someone as dangerous as Itachi. Kamui is also dodgable, whilst Tsukyomi isn't.

^^ kamui is wide ranged. And only the user knows where he is aiming, the head or legs...
And I think speed other than Minato's or Current Naruto's or probably Raikage A's cant help...

It's a bit of a unfair question because both have different uses, kamui is extremely fast so I could see it going either way in a situation like that, I put my money on kamui just because it's more of a combat ability and isn't quite as restricted as tsukiyomi. Granted I like tsukiyomi better.
