he didan't use it because he used it for protection and if he fought oonoki he wouldant use it for protection because he knows that sand cant stop dust tecqunike...

so basically you are saying gaara's only chance is to blitz oonoki with his gourd sand before oonoki can even pull off a dust release?

I think most people will agree that this is highly doubtfulm, especially since oonoki has been shown to be at least as fast as deidara's fastest clay bird.

Where in the world is your proof that he got alot stronger? If anything he got weaker because he lost the shukaku. Also blocking an attack doesn't mean it's the same speed. By that logic Madara's as fast as A because he blocked his punch.

Nobody's ever tried to get out of his range. Also Oonoki's faster than Gaara's sand. Oonoki is as fast or faster than Deidara and he was able to keep away from Gaara fairly easily. Anyway I'm done arguing with you. It's obvious most people believe Oonoki will win and I'll leave it at that.

Oonoki. Gaara's ultimate defense is penetrated by weaker attacks than dust release, and dust release's AoE is huge. Gaara's problem is that he always tries to block attacks he never tries to dodge, and unless you have susanoo, you have to dodge when going up against dust release.

So you are saying susanoo is greater than gaaras defence. I think you are crazy. Sand is in its molecular form( chemistry and physics) so you can't break it further except you are saying the dust element can separate sand into silicon and oxygen.

Okay let me make it clear.
1. Even if oonoki disintegrates gaaras sand, he only has to bring the sand back together.
2. OOnoki is no where as fast or as strong as gaaras sand.
3. The dust release is close range while gaaras san is long range.
4. Gaara was able to beat his father and 2nd mizukage, people who I doubt oonoki can beat.
5. If gaara was to use sand tsunami or sand hail or other jutsus of that level oonoki will surely die and his earth or dust element cannot save him.
6. Some of you say that susanoo can withstand the dust element but believe gaaras defence is stronger than susanoo in terms of defence.
