I tried to mimic the style that all the intermediate artists use. I think it turned out pretty good :)

Oh, and here's breezy and no second chance. I put up a thread for those two but I only got 2 replies :(

Why do I even bother trying to get criticism in NB :/ I need to find some other online community
I'm sorry I wasn't here before. D:

I really do like this style when it's done effectively, which I think you've done quite well. I'm no expert on this sort of smudging but it's very nice. I think the pink is a little random, and that maybe a different colour could've been used, like blue/purple for a nice theme to gow with the whites. And those borders, just don't set them on Overlay, ever, please.

I also think you need to use more gradient maps and stuff to try and improve those colours and stuff. Considering the blue/purple/pink theme you've gone with here, using yellow/orange gradient maps would compliment that and improve everything.

There is something really off-putting about this piece, but I can't put my finger on it. Maybe it's the text but I really don't know, although I don't like the text in this situation. Glow should never be used for text unless it's used correctly, which is very hard to do. Actually if you ask me, glow should only ever be used in cases of pen tooling.

I know this is a smudge piece and it's pretty good. It's a bit minimal for smudging but nonetheless it's still good. I can't really say much about it since there's not much going on. I think you need to focus more on lighting here.

Not gonna rate the last one because I really don't feel like it.

^ Thankyou, for being awesome, and giving real criticism :3 here's my fixed version of take it off:

I think the C4D in the bottom right looks kind of out-of-place, but, I tried everything and can't fix it. Either way, it still looks better than the original where it was empty imo.

I think cool colours like blue, green, etc. would match him more. I do like your smudging it's better then mine. And yes that random c4d totally looks out of place.
