Ya the fact that Madara fought the forth is solid proof against this theory considering Tobi was fully grown during that fight and Shisui would still have been a kid at the time. But for me, the biggest plot hole is that Itachi referred to Tobi as Madara. Wouldn't he have known it was Shisui if it really was? I mean yes Itachi lied to Sasuke a lot, but he never lied to him in regard to Madara. He was always very forward and blunt about Madara's hatred and his malevolence, I really doubt he was shisui for this reason.

the things which not explained by kishi in manga are all related to shisui.... which are 1. fourth mizukage yagura is a powerful character of manga ... and danzo said that may be yagura also able to controlled the beast in ch 458... how can such a person die i mean who killed it??? 2. how danzo get shisui eye?? danzo died without explaining this??? danzo have shisuis eye then may be he also able to conrol one of the councilors ie homaru and koharu ... 3. uchiha massacre is also not explained....
i am also a fun of itachi but now i have a feeling that shisui used itachi like pain and many other akatsuki members... itachi thought shisui commited suicide but he not... the conversation between tobi and itachi before uchiha massacre is also not shown ...

U say uchiha shisui was about the same age as kakashi and kakashi was a kid at that time, whether or not shisui was older than kakashi doesn´t matter but he couldn´t have been tobi cuz tobi at that time was a fully grown man.
Itachi thought of shisui as an older brother but why would he think that about a grown ****in man the age of Minato who was in his mid-20s.
Use your head next time
Uchiha Kagami was barely shown in the series except for a flash-back of danzo when he was younger on 1 panel and that´s it.
If they show more of who he is and a little of his past then the kagami theory will carry more weight

The episode where Tobi tells Sasuke the truth about Itachi he removes his mask a bit. You can see wrinkles and all that. So it is most likely Tobi is in his 30s-50s.
Thats a good point but something to further back the orginal poster is the Mask. Tobi was wearing this mask during his fight with the 4th and at some point he had given his eye to Itachi and or Danzo. It could explain why he had a mask on at the time.
More to the point his mask covers one eye even back during the incident a missing Eye perhaps? His deal with Danzo could of been not to allow Route to interfere with the attack on the village and in exchange he gave an Eye? Its all a tad odd. It could just be Madara i guess.

i'm not saying it is him, im just saying thats was the best presented and valid theory in my opinion. and looking at tobi its an uchiha (to use that s-t jutsu so many times without taking a toll on his body..kakashi gets tired really easily when he uses sharingan, unless his justsu isnt a result of his ems), once you take that into consideration there are very few uchiha's capable of pulling of such feats as tobi..from that list, its not itachi, this guy jus made it clear its NOT shisui. and seeing which group he was part of..kagami would have had to be really strong and the final option ofcuz is the real madara lol
Shisui gave Itachi his right eye. Tobi has his right eye still. Not to mention if Shisui gave his other eye to Danzo. Then he'd have no eyes. ^_^
