Well, In back flashes, when Kushina told Naruto her story and the story about Mito, Hashirama was seen as an old man. So I doubt that part of your theory.

I think, Tobi is just a clone of Madara. I doubt that Tobi has Hashiramas DNA.
In Kushinas story about Kurama, Kurama seemed to recognize Tobi. He said something like "It's you..."
By obtaining Hashiramas cells, Tobi then cloned all those Zetsus.

But the "HOW" in cloning could very likely be as you mentioned in your theory.

2. How did he put half of his self in Tobi? I'm assuming you are not talking about his soul at all b/c he was Edo recently.
3. Tobi said his whole purpose fighting Hashi was to get some of his DNA. You do you mean Madara LET HASHI almost kill him "knowing" he could get the DNA this way? B/c that doesnt make sense.
