Ehh what is this grain of salt thing you keep bringin up ? XD please explain

It's a saying, it basically means don't be gullible enough believe everything you hear, to be skeptical of any info you come in contact with.

But there are exceptions for both sides.

Example for option 1: This character's regeneration can heal their brain, until its shown they cannot they can.

Thats wrong though.

I disagree. The first one would analyse whether or not regeneration would work on a brain before coming to that conclusion, while the second one wouldn't and simply wait for an explicit depiction in the manga.

Edit: Actually wait, after looking at DeadmanWonderland's post, I realized I misunderstood the two, both are components of what I was saying I am. Basically, I change my answer to not either one, but an conjunction of both to form logical reasoning.

It's false before it becomes true

An advocate of the first one would try to, for example, deduce whether or not Kamui would work on Yata Mirror, or if Susano'o does or doesn't require Amaterasu and Tsukiyomi.

The second choice would just say "Let's wait until it's said in the manga or by Kishi."
So if I understand correctly, a few years ago , the theory that Tobi was Danzo or Sasuke from the future at that time we should have considered it to be true because the manga had not proven otherwise?
Seems an abnormal way of thinking u have here

Logically, Hidan shouldn't be able to talk without lungs.
Evidence says he can.

Er no. "Logically" can be applied to any conclusion formed off of sound reasoning. By reasoning that Hidan spoke without his lungs attached to his head, one can logically conclude that Hidan does not need his lungs to speak because of the jutsu that granted him immortality. Logic just means sound reasoning.

That's a fallacy as i could say logically they can't use chakra but, evidence proves otherwise

Were talking about theories.
The thread is horrible as nobody on here even seems to know the definition of "theory"

so, kaguya > tonton (tsunade's pig)
Its false until proven otherwise in the manga eh?

Ironically,
If you follow first case ,

tonton>kaguya until proven false by the manga  Lol

I would rather use manga logic and evidence.

The base sure is ignorant.. Everyone voted the second 1 but when it comes to Naruto I see this.

- He is able to use the sword of Nunoboko.
- Naruto can enter the Juubi cloak.
- Naruto's chakra pool is now bigger than Sasuke's.
- Naruto > Sasuke. Always.

Lmao at these people who voted the second now.

Anyone who picks either or is doomed to have fallacies in their argument. Both need to be taken into equal consideration and applied to whatever reasoning and conclusions you are using and making.

Some of you taking the options way too literally or taking them into account with every statement. Its a simple question.

Every theory is going to use logic and evidence. The options I have given are the final cut of what you are going to believe.

Only fanbase behind the character agrees with the first part. Everyone else disagrees especially if it's something really good for someone if it's not their fav.

Prime example is the Sasuke PS using wings. Or him meeting the sage.

Kudos to those theorists.

When it comes to Naruto theories and ideas and such which one do you follow?

The idea is true until the manga says otherwise

OR

The idea is false until proven true in the manga

I follow the the second mostly.

Why not both?

Kudos to those theorists.

Those were predictions.

Theories have more to do with the past events which happened.

False until proven true. Otherwise we would have so many contradictions. And you could have people say itachi>Kaguya, and it would be true(as it cant be proven false as itachi didnt fight kaguya)

Or hiruzen has neutralizer. Etc.
