[Theory] True Cause of Rinnegan

No, you see you can apply the concept of human genes. Kaguya had a partner which triggered the birth Hagoromo and his brother.
This means that Hagoromo has a new set of genes that could only consist of Ashura and Indra's chakra and that is why Kaguya
could not awaken the Rinnegan since her genes are different from Hagoromo since Hagoromo's cells are already mixed by Kaguya and her partner... UNLESS IF KAGUYA GAVE BIRTH ASEXUALLY then that would be a different story

Even if Kaguya had a partner, it would be obvious, that Hagoromo would inherit some of her genes, even if it's 1%

Two things.

1)Ashura and Indra's grandmother is Kaguya, that makes it obvious that Kaguya had ashura and indra's chakra.
2)Why would she awaken Rinnegan, when basically Rinnegan is a watered down version of Juubi's eye? She had Sharingan+Byakugan>Rinnegan.

In support of this :-

Indra's chakra leads to the activation of Sharingan. By this we can say that Kaguya had Indra's Chakra because of the Sharingan and would also have Ashura's chakra.

If the underlined part is disputed it would mean :-

1) The Sharingan has no relation to Indra's chakra which is hard to believe in my opinion.

2) Rikudou's father is related to the Shinju.

Kaguya has the juubi's eye and it is greater than rinnengan. Rinnengan is the juubi's eye without the sharingan curves and difference in colour. Iam to believe that rinnengan is the lesser version of the juubi's eye

Can you explain why Madara had to aweaken his at a very old age.

It may of took some time for Hashirama/Ashura's chakra to manifest within Madara. It would make sense as Sasuke hasn't awoken the Rinnegan yet despite being chakra from Hashirama (Ashura) himself.

Hagoromo seems to be the inventor of the Rinnegan which seems to be the reason why you must strictly possess Indra's and Ashura's chakra to awaken it. But the process of awakening the Rinnegan may be quickened by acquiring chakra from Hagoromo himself like Sasuke did last chapter.

The chakra probably took that long to fully awaken and mold together.
