[Suggestion] Trash/incenirator and better blocking.

I've seen this on other sites, a trash and an incinerator section for troll and spam threads, so if someone keeps making pointless threads(spamming) or threads that has no value for discussion they just get moved to trash which works like chatterbox(not appear in 'today's topics'), where everyone can go see what a troll the OP is and also everyone knows that there is nothing to see in that thread, if people stop getting attention or if it starts damaging their image they will stop trolling/spamming(because punishment is public) might work better then private infractions, incinerator is for the pointless bait threads, like saying Itachi solos then writing two lines(giving no proof) etc, alternatively you can just make one section for both.

Now the other thing I am saying is better blocking and this is totally random suggestion, you see when a troll makes too many threads you just block him as an individual member but if they were mass blocked for everyone by the mod, no one can see his thread/posts and like they were waiting for approval(like in some comments section at various websites) ,the post doesn't appear at all, so this is what happens

>troll waits for entertainment(people to take bait)
>gets 0 replies is 5hrs(cause no-one saw his thread)
>troll gets discouraged and quits trolling.

or maybe you can just choose which of the threads of such malicious users appear, like all their stuff(or only threads) goes for approval but in their eyes(troll's) they are live, shouldn't be much work since there are like 2-3 or 3-4 threads made about every hour and not all of them are spams.

Now I know there's probably a lot of technical stuff that needs to be addressed in doing this things, but I am just throwing it out there just in case it gives you some idea that you can probably improvise or something.

You'd be surprised how many people take obvious baits, so that really wouldn't help. If a person continuously makes pointless/troll threads, we have means of making him/her stop.

All of this is just a lot of uneccessery work. The way we do things now works fine.

People do not wank for trolling purposes, they actually blindly believe in it. :sdo: Not getting any replies tells them they are actually right and is counter-productive.

The staff doesn't display negative activities by members as an example. They don't recognize it and it gets deleted. People like troll threads so this really wouldn't help.

There would have to be a plugin for that option and i don't see any atm. Also it would be easier just to perma ban them instead of blocking that user for all the members on the base. Plus they can easily make alts to by pass that if they want to. I think the current system on how infractions/bans is just fine

If they thread is spam or gets derailed it will be closed or deleted regardless. There is already a thread approval wait for new members. If the thread is spam just report it and it will be taken care of.

I don't really see the purpose of such a section. The chance that a spam & bait thread will be intercepted before even one person makes a post, is highly unlikely and I doubt moving them to such a section would have much effect. In the end it pretty much comes down to a section where people are allowed to spam...and if publicly ostracizing trolls would work, they would have been long gone. In fact the section you are talking about already exists, though it can only be viewed by staff members. It's the place where we ditch all the threads we delete and it's appropriately named the Trash section and there's reason as why only we can access it. That place is really a pile of garbage, the reason why we ditch them there is because we do not want to have these threads be seen.

And we have an entire set of possible punishments for rule breakers and not all of them can be seen by external characteristics.
