Its probably a saying in japanese that has a meaning that is really obvious to them and is more accurately translated at mangapanda to better show what is really implied in that saying.

"Let's be allies". It sounded way too obvious. "Lets drink from a sake cup". That sounded like a real Jap saying.

I can't read Jap, tho, don't you think, "Let's drink from a sake cup" sounds more better than the obvious, "lets be allies", as they are already allies.
