Don't trust ***********.com translations, if you look back at the last few chapters, it says that kaguya is asuras', and Indras' mother, when she's really the sages mother. Mistake in translations happen often on that site.
Its probably a saying in japanese that has a meaning that is really obvious to them and is more accurately translated at mangapanda to better show what is really implied in that saying.
On another note, it says you joined in Feb 2013 and your post count is 34000, that is like an average of 100 a day. That is pretty crazy dude.
Well yes, true. But, this translation seems accurate.
How can you be sure, can you read Japanese? Because that's truly the only way one can tell which one's the best English translation of the original
"Let's be allies". It sounded way too obvious. "Lets drink from a sake cup". That sounded like a real Jap ritual.
There's a section called Forum Games, where you can get your post count up. That's how I have so many posts.![]()
Yeah it was but it might sound that obvious to a native speaker I don't really know but I get the feeling that it is. It might not be exactly "lets be allies" but maybe more like lets be "brothers" or something but either way, what a time for him to say it, right when Naruto is one of the most powerful people in the world. It smells funny over here methinks.... haha.
Yeah that makes sense, I post exclusively on the manga section so I guess my count goes a bit slower than some.
I can't read Jap, tho, don't you think, "Let's drink from a sake cup" sounds more better than the obvious, "lets be allies", as they are already allies.
Good point, but still we can't truly know until this chapter officially comes out in English.
