The technique is quite vague on why you can use either one or two hands but since it doesn't state anything about being able to release multiple waves I'd say it's just cosmetic. As for how you described performing it, it's not a thin wave which only cuts. See it as a wave of blowing winds mixed with sharp winds.

Also, mid range really isn't a disadvantage even if they would move into long range to avoid it they'd still have to use a technique to do so.

No, the sword won't be coated beforehand you just release the wind as you slash which is basically the same as you do with the previous technique but instead you do it with a sword in hand. If a technique doesn't state it actually coats something it essentially doesn't.

Four more C-Ranks to go ^^
__

This technique can only be used with a fan, to learn it use mine *throws you a giant folding fan* infuse the fan with your chakra and wave it across infront of you, then as you wave it across release the chakra into the wind currents created by the fan's movements and shape it into a single spinning disk of sharp wind, resembling a demon wind shuriken. Pretty straightforward.

This technique is a combination of bukijutsu using the fan to attack your target physically aswell as wind release *creates a clone* dash towards my clone holding the fan in hand and strike him with it, sending him flying from the blunt force impact then wave the fan across and release from it a blast of wind pushing the clone away even further while the blunt force of the blast also deals some damage. If you ever find yourself in close combat with an opponent while holding onto a fan this might come in handy.
Okay, thank you for clarifying everything for me Senpai! :win:

__

Dosu nearly fumbles the giant fan as it is thrown at him. He wasn't used to handling such a thing in battle. He grabs it firmly and begins to look at it with care, trying to figure out how it works. After doing so, he begins to pour his chakra into it as he swings it from left to right. As the large fan begins to turn and churn the air currents, Dosu releases his wind chakra and infuses them. As the currents are infused, he shape manipulates them into a singular disk of sharp wind that takes the shape of almost a windmill shuriken.

The con to this technique is that it requires a fan, and it's not something I really use in battle, nor ever have for that matter. A plus is that it's a large weapon so it can be used as a feint to strike your target in close range and at the same time, releasing the disk of wind as a surprise attack. Since it manipulates the air currents created by the fan, it wont be coated int he fan so the target will have less time to know what's happening if he is close. Aside from that I can't say much else without repeating what I've said in the past like hand seals, or range. *Stops to hear the second explanation.* Ironically enough, this next technique seems very similar to the method of use that I might have done in the future with the first technique.

Dosu firmly grabs the large fan with both hands, having his left hand on the lowest portion of the fan as he starts to dash forward at fast speeds towards the created clone. As he nears the location of the clone, Dosu begins to draw the fan back towards him on the side like almost a baseball back. He then continues by swinging it with great force forward in a horizontal fashion. Almost before making contact, Dosu makes the fan move upwards slightly, aiming to strike the side of the clone's ribs, using their right armpit as a stepping stone to send them flying easier, using it as a natural hook of sorts. As the clone is sent into the air, he swings the fan in the opposite direction, bringing back towards him whilst focusing his chakra on the created wind currents, refining them and creating a blast of wind that further damages the clone and pushes them backwards.

The good thing about this technique is that it first deals damage by using the fan as a weapon. However, this means that the target can also defend against my "Wind" move as I use my fan to deal damage, so he can potentially defend against my attack with simpler things like taijutsu or kenjutsu. Aside from that, its good that the next blast pushes my target if I manage to send him flying. I can use this technique in combination if I use a fan to defend against something.

(Futon: Reppuu Bakufuu no Jutsu) - Wind Release: Gale Blast Technique
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: The user will swing their giant folding fan or giant war fan at their target to create a blast of wind sending the target flying.
Note: Requires the user to be wielding a Giant Folding Fan or a Giant Fan or a Fan Weapon of some sort.
Well, quite similair to the previous technique but in this case you don't have to strike your opponent with the fan first. Just wave the fan across before you and manipulate the releases air currents and create a blast of wind which would send your opponent flying with blunt force. The blast alone would be somewhat stronger than the blast from the previous technique as this one solely relies on using the wind to deal damage.

Dosu positions himself in a comfortable pose as he grips his fan tightly. He then swings it out in front of him in a forceful manner. While doing so he releases his chakra and manipulates the air currents, causing them to be released stronger than normal in a wave like gush that pushes several bushes in front of him.

There is not much I can add on this technique since I've you stated, it is the same as the last one, or at least very similar. The one thing I noticed is that the gust is actually stronger than the last one because the damage isnt divided between the physical strike and the later pushing gust. In this one, I am simply releasing a forceful blunt damaging gust of wind with my fan.

Dosu begins to mold his chakra as he inhales and then exhales. As he exhales he infuses the air with chakra as he manipulates it and expands it in a horizontal manner, creating a somewhat widespread of wind currents that continue forward, trying to topple over the tree.

Streams are usually very thing, so it is good that this technique can be released in a stream manner and somewhat wide. Streams are usually faster, at least I think so, so it's good that it can catch several targets so long as they are close to each other. Maybe within 5 meters of each other? In total of course. I would use this technique to either fuel a fire technique or increase the speed of a water projectile that I release forward. Since it needs my concentration 100%, I would leave it active until I can't go anymore.

I have a question. If I were to push a short range projectile technique (water) would it reach up to mid range with my mid range reaching stream of wind?

Yeah, five meters sounds about right. As for your question, you're correct u-u if you use a mid-ranged stream after a short-range projectile the combined result would reach upto mid-range aswell.

(Fūton: Kujaku Senpūjin) - Wind Release: Peacock Whirlwind Formation
Rank: B
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: N/A
Description: This technique utilizes wind chakra into the users sword and then they release a vortex of wind that surrounds the users body and can push away materials covering the users body.
Channel your wind chakra into your blade and swing it across and upon doing so manipulate the air currents around your body and make them rotate at a high speed effectively creating a whirlwind like vortex of wind around you used to either defend from an incoming technique or to push away anything that might be covering your body. The vortex protects you from each of your sides, only leaving you vulnerable to attacks from either above or below.

Okay!

Dosu tosses over the large fan towards a nearby tree as he then continues by unsheathing his sword once more. As he unsheathes the sword, he channels chakra throughout the blade. He then uses the chakra to manipulate the wind currents he created by swinging his sword horizontally in front of him. He manipulated the currents in a way that they would rotate around him in a vortex manner, protecting him from all sides except for the bottom and the top.

This technique seems really nice, you can use the sword to block another blade strike and then manipulate the currents in order to release the vortex and push your target back after you've defended against his strike. It can also be used to remove things that might be attacked onto your body, like dirt or something similar. I would use this technique if I was bathed in mud or something similar, trying to blow away the substance from me, or as I mentioned previously.

After swinging his blade and the vortex subsided, Dosu focuses wind chakra inside of his mouth and then spews it out, infusing his blade. He uses shape manipulation in order to increase the length of his blade as well as give it, saw-like teeth along the edge of the blade.

This technique is VERY useful as it has a lot of different methods to using it. It can pretty much be used with a large number of bladed objects and weapons to increase their overall status. I would use this technique to expand the range of my thrown projectiles, but more maybe to increase the range of my blade while I was hiding within the mist. How far do you think the range could be increased of my sword in feet or inches?

Although a ninja weapon's range is multiplied by several times I'd go with 8-10 inch increase in range max when using it on a sword. It's never been officially stated how much the range of a regular sword is increased so that's just my personal interpretation.

(Fūton: Shippuu Tama) - Wind Release: Twister Shot
Rank: B
Type: Attack
Range: Mid
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user releases a stream of wind infused chakra from their mouth that takes on the shape of a twister to attack the enemy.
Pretty basic, expel from your mouth a stream of wind and manipulate the stream's wind currents and shape it into a twister to attack your target with. Along with blunt damage from the impact of the twister it would push your opponent back due to the wind's nature.

Description: The user swings their blade and a gust of wind is released in the arc that it was swung in. The technique is strong enough to stop projectiles that are thrown at the user.
Infuse your sword with your wind chakra and swing it across and release a sharp gust of wind in the arc the blade was swung in capable of cutting your opponent. Once again a pretty basic and straightforward technique that doesn't really require much explanation.

That sounds like a nice translation to the picture of sasuke dodging the expanded shuriken, ty Senpai!

__

Dosu places his katana back on it's scabbard as he then begins to take a breath and infuse it with his wind chakra. He then continues by releasing it from his mouth in a wide spread, releasing a stream of wind. As the stream is being released, Dosu further manipulates it in order to rotate in all random and wild patters, creating a stream like twister that continues towards a random tree.

This technique has the speed release of a regular wind stream, and the plus is that it can be manipulated into a wild twister that will damage the target further instead of simply pushing them with blunt damage. It will cause blunt damage but I think in a more wide spread as opposed to a stream. I would use this technique in replacement to a regular stream so long as I had the window of time to have a twister suit my combination better.

Dosu then shifts his hand on over towards his katana's handle, releasing his chakra into the blade once again. He then quickly unsheathes it in a diagonal fashion from left to right. As the blade is being swung, Dosu manipulates the wind currents and releases a sharp and wide gust of wind in the rough shape of the swing, having it travel forward and cut a tree in half

Another offensive technique that uses a sword, it is quite nice. If I don't need the vortex type attack and need to use a more damaging and concentrating attack with my sword, I could use this one to create a more lethal effect. Depending on the timing of my attack, I could potentially defend against a sword strike and then release the attack, damaging my target double as they are then pushed backwards. Although I might need to complete the entire swing so the usage can vary I think.

Indeed, it would be more widespread and due to the wilder air currents your target would be slung around a bit more.

You indeed have to finish the entire swing to succesfully produce the attack.

(Fūton: Senmōfū) - Wind Release: Rotating Ferocious Wind
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user concentrates wind chakra into their sword/s and releases the chakra by slashing down infront of them to create a large gust of wind.
Another sword attack, this time infuse your blade with wind chakra and slash it down infront of you doesn't have to be entirely vertical though. Upon slashing your sword down release from it a large gust of wind, unlike the previous technique which creates a sharp thinner gust this one creates a blunt gust which is quite a bit bigger and more suitable to blow targets away from you.

(Fūton: Dai Sakūgen Sebiti) - Wind Release: Great Slashing Tornado
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description:The original version of the Wind Release: Slashing Tornado technique. The user, flapping their Giant Fan, creates a minor tornado, which ensnares the opponent, damaging and cutting the opponent, leaving them crashing into the ground after the tornado subsides. This technique can be performed by ninja who do not wield the Giant fan but require to make a small 4 sequence of hand seals to perform the technique.
Now, this technique is originally performed with a giant fan but instead if you prefer to do so you can just weave a sequence of four hand seals, replacing the need of a fan. Since you'd rather not use a fan weave the handseals -shows them- and create air currents shaping them into a minor tornado to attack your opponent and ensnare them within it while dealing damage through the wind's brute force aswell as cutting potency. In the end your opponent would simply crash into the ground as the tornado subsides.

So many cool sword related techniques!!! :T_T:

__

Unlike his previous technique, this time Dosu channels chakra through his sword just as before and swings it downwards, in a vertical manner in the center of his body. While doing so, he uses his chakra to manipulate the wind currents and release a widespread large gust of forceful wind.

What I like about this technique is that it can be used on either one or more swords. This again can be on preference like the one or two hand wave I learned earlier. If I have my sword in play and I dont need to use a lethal slicing technique, this one is perfect to blow away low ranking earth techniques, water and as well as projectiles or simply pushing my rushing target away.

After having disposed of the large fan by tossing at a distance, Dosu performs four hand seals and manipulates the wind currents in front of him, creating a small tornado that travels forward and begins to circle around a random tree mid range away. The tornado begins to rotate faster and stronger, delivering cutting and slashing damage. As the tornado continues to circle around the tree, it begins to pull it off it's roots and cause it to crash back down into the ground as it subsides.

Unlike the previous fan-related techniques, this one can be created by performing a few hand seals. I like how a tornado will circle around the target, reducing the options of running away as it circles them. The slashing damage is a plus as it then crashes the target onto the ground to allow a follow up technique so long as it works of course. I am not sure how minor the size of the technique would be.

(Fūton: Kaze Gaeshi) - Wind Style: Wind Return
Rank: B
Type:Supplementary/Attack
Range:Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: 40 (+5 if attack is send back)
Description: This technique is used to counter a Wind attack launched against the user. Originally used by Kujaku in conjunction with her sword, the user will need to perform a series of handseals to amplify chakra and then he will split the incoming Wind attack and take control of the whirling vortex thrown at him, in order to re direct it towards the opponent.
Note: It can block only up to B rank wind jutsu.
Although originally used with a sword in the RP you have to weave a set of handseals to perform this, the first part looks pretty similair to the C-Rank technique we went over before right? u-u though this technique doesn't ask you to specialize in the element.

To use it focus your wind chakra and 'split' an incoming wind attack when it's close to you, then take control over the split wind attack and amplify it with your own chakra before sending it back towards your target. This technique is pretty neat don't you think? While normally a B-Ranked wind attack against another B-Ranked wind would result in both being cancelled out but in this case you can just use B-Ranked wind to take out any wind attack of the same rank or below and attack with the use of only a single move.

(Fūton: Mugen Sajin Daitoppa) - Wind Style: Infinte Sand Great Break Through
Rank: B
Type:Attack
Range:Short-Mid
Chakra Cost:20
Damage Points:40
Description: Originally Gaara's technique, for other characters the user will have to gather the dust or sand of the environment around him and then combine it with his elemental wind affinity. A large wind gust with dust or sand will get created capable to push away the opponent or medium sized objects.
Manipulate the wind currents around you to gather dust or sand from the environment and combine them with the wind and then create a large gust of wind from said currents with the dust or sand particles mixed in with it capable of pushing away your target or medium sized objects. Pretty straightforward, the dust/sand could however blind your opponent temporarily if it hits their eyes.

Really wish I could use a sword on this next technique! :(

After performing an unknown number of handseals, Dosu begins to mold his wind chakra as the wind attack head his ways. He releases his wind chakra out and focuses on the center of the enemy technique. He then tries to forcefully push the technique away. As it turns into a whirlwind, Dosu further manipulates his chakra and takes control of it, sending a gust of wind back towards the target.

If I send the attack back, it would be +5 damage stronger than a normal B rank, correct? 40 Damage + 5? I like this technique because I dont need to specialize in wind to cancel out up to B rank wind ninjutsu. At best thing of all is that I can actually take advantage and counterattack, not only defending but also attacking with the same technique. What I am concerned is the number of hand seals, not being sure of how many I need to perform.

Dosu begins to release and mold his wind chakra out around him, taking control of the wind currents. He then releases a large gust forward, blowing and gathering the dust and sand. The powerful gust of wind pushes a lot of trees, causing them to bend towards the direction of the blowing wind.

This technique seems to be very similar to ones I have learned previously, however stronger and without the need of hand seals. I can not add much about it since it is very similar to the other techniques. I did notice that it focuses on pushing debris and sand, potentially blinding the target or causing him to fall on tree branches with the scattered debris and sand.

Exactly, it would do 45 damage if sent back and don't worry about the handseals, won't affect the timeframe unless you would form loads of them. When using it just state you weave a series of handseals and it's fine xD

Description: The user delievers a punch that releases a giant, adaptable whirlwind.
This one can be quite useful, focus wind chakra into your fist and lower arm and perform a single straight punch and release the wind chakra in the form of rotating winds around your lower arm while releasing a giant, adaptable whirlwind from it. This technique is commonly used to proper oneself through the air in the desired direction or to avoid incoming techniques. The technique doesn't really appear to have cutting properties and when used offensive would just blow your target backward with blunt force damage.

(Fūton: Jūha Reppū Shō) - Wind Style: Beast Tearing Gale Palm
Rank: B
Type: Attack
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: 40
Description: This technique is somewhat of an enhanced version of the Beast Tearing Palm. It used chakra to infused with and condense a mass amount of wind to form a massive demonic-like claw extending from the user's dominant hand to strike and grab a target, as well as deflect any weapon or attack. In addition to making it a deadly short to mid-range weapon, the extending claw also carries tremendous force that can devastate anything in its path without affecting the user, making it useful for dislodging solid and heavy objects.
Thrust your palm forward and release wind currents from it which you then shape into the form of a large demonic-like claw extending from your palm. Using the palm you can strike targets and even grab onto them by clenching the claw's fingers. However, you wouldn't be able to use other techniques while manipulating the claw.

Exactly, it would do 45 damage if sent back and don't worry about the handseals, won't affect the timeframe unless you would form loads of them. When using it just state you weave a series of handseals and it's fine xD

Thrust your palm forward and release wind currents from it which you then shape into the form of a large demonic-like claw extending from your palm. Using the palm you can strike targets and even grab onto them by clenching the claw's fingers. However, you wouldn't be able to use other techniques while manipulating the claw.
Okay! :win:

__

Dosu manipulates his wind chakra around his right hand and lower arm. He then plants his feet on the ground firmly as he gets into a regular boxing stance. He then pulls his right hand and arm backwards, aiming to deliver a powerful corkscrew punch forward into thin air. As the punch is being delivered, Dosu releases and manipulates the chakra, releasing a wild and crazy whirlwind that rotates forward.

Adaptable means I can pretty much manipulate the whirlwind in my favor for different tasks correct? Like a bit more concentrated or maybe widespread etc etc. Not to the extremes of course. I like this technique because it requires no hand seals and its a simple punch, something that can be concealed until the last moment you strike and release it. Sometimes there is not enough time to defend against something so simply punching and releasing a blast might come in handy to create some distance from the target or blow things away. It would even be used to speed things up by pushing them forward.

After doing so, Dosu manipulates his wind chakra around his right arm once more. However instead of punching forward, he thrusts his hand with an open palm. He manipulates the shape of the chakra in order to create a demonic claw that copies the outer shape of his hand and expands outwards, leaving a trail of wind that is attached to his hand. The claw is manipulated so it travels forward and forcefully grips a nearby tree, completely pulling it out of the ground and throwing it out to the distance into long range.

A very unique looking technique that actually gives intangible wind a more tangible property? Being able to pick up and dislodge rocks and such. I can't really specify all it's usages since it is pretty much endless so long as they are too heavy and within reason. Its not really a draw back that it requires constant focus as its understandable, requiring to manipulate the path and functions of the demonic claw.

Correct ^^

Yes, due to the high density of the wind which composes the claw it gains a certain amount of solidity allowing it to carry out it's functions.

Pretty similair to the previous technique but this time you cover one of your legs in wind-natured chakra greatly increasing the power of a kick allowing you to slice through your target with a single, powerful kick.

Both techniques are quite straightforward but also quite useful in close combat.

Dosu begins to channel wind chakra around his left hand, having it concealed with his long sleeves, so it would be very hard to be seen. As this happens, he leaps forward towards a tree. He then adjusts his body in midflight so that he plants his feet against the tree, having his body paralleled with the ground. As his feet make contact with the tree, he uses it as a stepping stone in order to push himself off into a different location. The location was towards a nearby boulder. Dosu launched himself like a rocket, having his hand in a pointing position, using to pierce directly into the center of the stone, causing to crumble. Dosu would land with his feet planted against the sides of the boulder as his hand is somewhat stuck yet not entirely, within the center of the rock. To finish off the rock, he pushes off of it and propels himself upwards into the air as he performs a single front flip. As he does so, he extends his left leg while coating it in powerful concentrated wind chakra. As he lands back on the ground, he delivers a powerful back heel strike against the top of the boulder, completely finishing off the job and destroying it completely. A small cloud of smoke and debris scatters as Dosu is seen leaping back towards the location of his teacher.

A very unique set of wind techniques. Instead of releasing the wind, it is used in a more controlled and concentrated fashion in order to enhance the limbs. If the hand needs to be used in close combat the user can coat it, same would go for the leg. Depending on the situation and the position of the user, either one could be chosen. I like the disruption that the technique causes upon release, would it only count towards the hand one? And is a blast or something released that disrupts or targets the ground? I vaguely remember the usage in the show.

You wouldn't actually have to 'release' the wind to cause the ground to split, it's merely due to the impact of striking the ground with the hand in a thrusting motion, can also be done with the leg I suppose but the split isn't anything major, upto like short range from the point of impact.

(Futon: Kibishii Shippuu Kabe) - Wind Release: Severe Hurricane Wall
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Long
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user will swing their Giant Folding fan or Giant War fan at their target to create a small but powerful hurricane that drags the target with it several meters. Normal users can perform this technique by use of 3 hand seals before creating the Hurricane.
Weave a string of three hand seals and manipulate the air currents to create a small yet powerful hurricane and send it off towards your target who will then be dragged along with the hurricane as he's thrown around inside the spinning winds through the wind's brute force aswell as cutting potency. Can also be performed with a giant fan.
(Fūton: Kaze Rasen Yaiba Rendan no justu) - Wind Release: Wind Spinning Blade Barrage Technique

Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 20

Description: A more advanced version he user uses their Giant Folding fan or Giant Fan and swing it forwards at the target creating a single spinning disk of wind that ressembles a demon wind shuriken. A non wielder of the Giant Folding Fan or Giant Fan can perform this technique with use of four hand seals and releasing wind from their mouth and using shape manipulation to form the disk of wind.
Quite similair to a technique you've previously learned since you won't be using a fan. Weave a string of four handseals and exhale from your mouth a stream of wind and shape it into a single spinning disk of wind which resembles a demon wind shuriken capable of slicing through your target.

Understood!

Dosu performs the three hand seals as instructed as he molds and releases his chakra outward. He uses shape manipulation in order to forcefully move the wind around him, creating a rotating vortex like hurricane with wild currents that move up, down and in every direction. The hurricane travels forward and 'eats up' one of the trees, causing it to be pushed and shoved in various directions as it is cut up.

The very first technique capable of reaching up to long range distance. Whats beneficial about this technique is that it can be used by either means of hand seal or a fan if the user specializes in it. I would use this technique if I predict my target changing ranges and not allowing them to avoid simply by lengthening their distance from myself.

After performing the hurricane technique Dosu begins to channel his wind chakra and mold it as he performs the shown four hand seals. He then spews and releases out of his mouth a stream of wind that is nearly instantly shape manipulated to take the thin form of a windmill shuriken. The shuriken continues forward and slices a random tree in half.

The number of hand seals aside, which is one of the most I've come across thus far, it seems to be a very strong technique, a stronger version of the previous one I've learned. I can not add much that I already havent in the previous one.

(Fūton: Boufuu oonami no Jutsu ) - Wind Release: Gale Surge Technique
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user will create a large surge of wind that is capable of pushing a target back and dealing some small cuts to them. The wind technique is also strong enough to push back a large summoning creature.
Pretty straightforward, release a large surge of wind to push your target back while dealing small cuts to them due to the wind's cutting potency and it's even strong enough to push back large summons, albeit not as enormous as gamabunta. Might be nice to combine with a fireball to create a wind/fire combination which would push your target back while dealing cuts and burning them.

(Fūton: Rasen Kazedan) - Wind Release: Spiralling Wind Ball
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: This technique allows the user to breathe wind-infused chakra into the palm of their hand, shaping it into a small, whirlwind-like ball. Then the user will shoot it at their opponent. This technique seems to be very fast and powerful, as it is capable of smashing through thick rock. They can be launched in rapid succession.
Exhale wind infused chakra into the palm of your hand and shape it into a small, whirlwind-like ball and fire it off towards your target. As it can be launched in rapid succession you are able to fire multiple balls by exchanging palms, exhaling wind in one palm while shooting a ball with the other and vice versa. However the techniques power would be divided over the amount of balls created, two would make each of them C-Rank while four would make each ball D-Rank.

Dosu begins to channel and mold his wind chakra as he then manipulates the air currents in front of him. He causes the wind currents to forcefully be pushed forward in a gust-like fashion, pushing everything in it's path. As the gust travels forward, Dosu manipulates it in a way that the currents would have the ability to cut, similar to previous techniques.

How big of a summoning would I be able to push with this technique? I dont seem to need the usage of hand seals so it is a very nice technique if time is not on my side when I need to defend against something. As for the creation, do I manipulate the wind currents or do I release the gust from my mouth and then manipulate it?

Dosu rises his left hand out in front of him and haves the long sleeve roll down his forearm. He then molds and focuses his wind chakra inside of his mouth, later to move his hand closer to his mouth as he spews the chakra onto it. Using shape manipulation, Dosu begins to rotate the chakra and sort of compress it and confine it into a small orb of rotating whirlwinds. He then under tosses the orb forward, trying to hit a nearby tree.

This technique also does not need any hand seals, and as it states it is very fast and powerful. Taking into account the nature of how it is created, it still takes some time and its not as fast as releasing a stream or something similar. So when using it, the user has to be careful to have enough time to release it. I would assume concentration needs to be kept, at least up until it is thrown? Not quite sure.

First question: That's debateable as it's not specifically states, I'd say upto half gamabunta's size or something.

Second question: Personally I'd use my hands to create the surge, thrusting both forward.

The time it would take to create a ball is neglectible unless you only have a split second to defend ofcourse, wind is exhaled quite fast. And yeah, you need to focus on the ball(s) until you have thrown it.

(Fūton: Fūsui Ranha no Jutsu) -Wind Release: Wind Water Wild Wave Technique
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user will first release a wave of water at the opponent, and then the user will enhance the wave's destructive capacity with wind.
First, by using your water chakra create wave of water and send it off towards your opponent and then enchance the water by empowering it with a gust of wind. The water is part of this technique thus you won't have to actually use a water technique beforehand.
( Futon: Uzu sentou ) - Wind Release: Vortex Punch
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user charges up wind energy on his hands and attacks eventually slamming a fist into the foe's gut and then unleashing a blast of wind energy that sends the foe into the air.
A pretty neat technique to use in close combat. Charge wind chakra inside your hand and send a punch towards your target's gut(or any body part for that matter, doesn't really matter in the end) and upon making contact release a blast of wind from your hand that sends your opponent flying while dealing blunt force damage. What I personally like about this technique is that you can just say you send a punch to your opponent in one move and if they acknowledge getting hit you throw in this technique already having the punch part covered and not allowing your opponent to metagame knowing you'd use this if you state it before they have acknowledged getting hit, if you get what I mean.
