Tell me what is earth in the narutoverse and how is it used? What is its weakness and strength?

Earth has strength against water and weakness against lightning.
It can be used to make Lava, Wood and Crystal Release.
While using earth release you can manipulate the surrounding earth for defensive or attacking purposes and can adapt the composition of the element to suit your needs.

*stomps on the ground creating a mud pit*

Alright, step inside the mud and sit down to begin meditating...

*slowly makes way into the mud and sits down in the middle, closes eyes and begins meditation*

How do you feel?

relaxed. peaceful. muddy. damp.

good, now hold a lump of mud and harden it into a rock using your chakra...

*still sat in mud, I pick some up and try to generate some Doton chakra and channel it into the mud in my hands*

its still soft...use more chakra

*concentrates harder, closing eyes and channeling more chakra into my hands and into the mud*

you can get out of the mud now....using the same technique get some clogs of earth and turn them into a shield and a lance....
