Carl hearing his mistake outloud, he nods in confirmation, "Ah, my mistake, oh, and sorry about your shoes to" he sighs. Fixing his posture once again, Carl begins to perform the [Rat, Horse, Dog, and Snake] handseals, creating multiple pillars a few feet infront of him. Looking up at the pillars, Carl uses his chakra and motions them around in circles, checking to see if he has a stabilized link between himself and the newly created Earth constructs, making it easier to manipulate them. "A follow up technique? Since your opponents moves are restricted, I would suggest something that can pierce them, giving them a fatal wound on the spot," pondering for a bit, he comes up with that special technique he mentioned earlier, "Chidori, that's it, considering Chidori's piercing properties, it'll make a great move to deliver while your opponent is restricted. Plus, since they're immobile, that makes up for Chidori's linear approach, basically the only situation I think I would use it, without any fear of it being negated", he says confident in his response.
Now, ready to perform his second technique, he charges chakra into his left palm, striking the ground. Doing so, he channels is chakra onto the surface below, creating a slab of rock that rises infront of him, blocking his view of Aigis. "So, this technique can protect from the front, nice"
Now for the final part, Carl walks around the slab he created to face Aigis directly, "Well, now that I got that taken care of, time for the basics! Oh, how I love this part. Well, for the first one, I would say it'd be most helpful when your opponent isn't fully mobile, you don't want to struggle attempting to catch them, that can leave you vunerable, enabling a clone or comrade capable of landing a blow on you while you're already pre-occupied. So, this technique's good side is the fact it immobilizes your opponent, allowing you to get a hit on them if need be, or creating a way to escape. Now, the bad side is it can only be controlled a limited distance, anything further you lose control and it's relatively useless. Now, for combinations, you can restrain your opponent and use Chidori to pierce them while temporarily incapacitated."
"Moving on, we have the second one, you slam your hand on the surface, channeling your chakra into the ground, creating a nice-sized slab of rock that rises infront of you. It's capable of blocking all attacks from your front, which is the problem. It ONLY blocks attacks from the front, leaving your other sides wide open for attacks, if not completely aware, this can lead to your death, so it's best to have an omni-directional attack prepared, just in case. Now, on to the good. The good thing is, it blocks attacks in the first place, the preparation doesn't take extremely long, and it's a quick technique to perform, so overall, it's pretty useful"
Finished up, Carl releases his control over the the pillars of earth he created early, he then proceeds to give all his attention to Aigis.

Description: After striking the ground with their hands, the user manipulates the ground in front of him to form a slab that tilts upwards, up to 90º, creating a wall of earth that can defend from incoming frontal attacks. In addition, the user can also create 2 slabs that will rise and tilt to the sides in front of him, as if "opening up" the ground. This can be done to create a clear path if anything hazardous is above the ground in that specific area.
