Jakai goes to the nearest rock formation and kneel down to touch a rock. He then begins to focus his chakra, matching the properties of the earth with his body. In doing so, he skin became as tough as the rock, functionally becoming a living version of the material.

(Shinra Banshō Dōka No Jutsu) — Assimilate All Creation Technique

Description: The user can take on the properties of any earthen material they touch and harden any part of there body. This jutsu also lets the user turn into fine grains of rock that can be used to do another jutsu. The issue with using this technique is that the user will gain all the weaknesses of the material they mimic, even if they are granted their strengths.
Jakai then looks to his sensei. This definitely is a useful technique. Given that it's primary use can be to defend, I enjoy it very much, though it does have obvious drawbacks. One of them being that if the user doesn't know the material they are absorbing, they can not prepare for the weaknesses of said material.

Jakai then throws a tremendous amount of Needles into the air, only for them to fall into the floor. Jakai then tossed a rock in one of the spots where the needles landed. This causes one of the needles to rise up, sticking through the rock. Jakai then focused his chakra while performing a handseal to cause the remaining needles to fly out of the ground to attack the rock.

(Gyorai Shin) — Torpedo Needle

Description: The user throws nails into the air. Upon impact on the ground, they dig themselves into the earth. When the opponent walks over the ground where the nails dug themselves in, nails pin their feet stopping their movement. Then, the user forms a hand seal and hundreds of nails shoot out of the ground at the opponent.
I actually like time-delayed techniques like this. You can set this up and wait for awhile before it actually takes effect. If used effectively, one can make the opponent forget completely about the needles by trying to keep the target in the air for long enough, only to strike them when they land.

Jakai then looked to a nearby tree. He focused his chakra and performed a single handseal. He blew out and sent a flurry of nails towards the tree, piercing it from top to bottom.

(Hitei Mushou) — Flying Nail Mist Pierce

Description: After forming the needed hand seal, the user will emit a flying mist of small nails from their mouth. These small nails can travel towards the opponent at quite a distance.
It's a generic technique that reminds me of the fireball techniques. I don't really care much for this because it's extremely basic.

Finally, Jakai took out his top hat and umbrella and began to dance.

As soon as he finished, he would toss his cap and throw the umbrella up to the sky. It would then release a hail of senbons on the ground.
(Jouro Senbon) — Sprinkling Needles

Description: After throwing a special umbrella that has been equipped with springs into the air, it releases a hailing "shower" of senbon. It cannot be dodged by moving away since the needles cover a wide area in all directions, controlled by chakra.
Seems like an issue because I'd have to dodge from this technique myself.

Jakai then thought for a moment of ideas for combinations. Well, one can use the Assimilate All Creation Technique while the umbrella of the Sprinkling Needles technique is showering the field, keeping you safe. Alternatively, one can use the Sprinkling Needles technique after using the Torpedo Needle technique so that the opponent will have difficulty finding placement of the needles and will have trouble moving both in the air and on the ground.

Three more weapon-based jutsus. The first one is one of TenTen's signature techniques. The second one is pretty underestimated, in my opinion. The final one just explodes Tags from up to long range... something that could be done freeform, but this one is ranked, soooooo...

From these scrolls the ninja can then summon a mass of weapons, which they then begin to throw at their opponent. If the first barrage fails, they can use wires that run from each weapon to their fingertips to pull them back into the air to strike at their opponent again.

Jakai took two scrolls out and set them on the ground. After performing the necessary handseals and focusing his chakra, the scrolls spun around Jakai in a vortex fashion high into the sky. Jakai would jump straight up in the center of the spinning scrolls. After rising high in the air, the weapons would be released from the scrolls, which Jakai would begin to throw at tremendous speeds towards the dummy.

Jakai then took out a set of 12 kunais and placed them out in front of him. Jakai would then focus his chakra towards the kunai, causing them to levitate in front of him in a circular clock fashion. There would be one kunai from each position from 1 o'clock to 12 o'clock. Jakai would then focus his and cause send the kunais flying towards the dummies. The kunais would quickly hit the dummy one-by-one.

Jakai then took out a paper bomb and placed it on the dummy. Jakai then looked intently into the sunlight. He then proceeded to list an exceedingly long list of terrible quotes followed by some sort of background music appearing out of nowhere. After doing that, he turned around and walked away. Without looking back at all, he would perform a single handseal and activate the paper bomb, causing the tag to go off and explode the dummy. Unfortunately, the explosion was too near and also damaged Jakai, but he had to keep his cool, so he played it off as nothing.

You can make the bombs fall wherever you want on the field depending on how you throw them up. You can't control them with your chakra directly, though.

Jakai moved to the center area, between several dummies that he previously summoned. He then took out several kunais for preparation. He then jumped up and began to spin at rapid speeds, tossing the kunais as he did so, eventually striking all the designated dummy targets.

Jakai then focused his chakra and projected an image of himself towards the sky. The giant Jor-El/Wizard of Oz head of Jakai then spoke. Fee-Fi-Fo-Fum! I am big and you are small! Harty-Har-Har!. Jakai then released his chakra and ended the technique.

I would use an omnidirectional wind jutsu instead of the gale palm; it covers all angles. You could even combine it with the shadow shuriken clone jutsu. Good pick though; wind + weapons are always solid choices.

B-rank time. The first one here is a defensive merging technique that allows you to integrate with a passive object, rendering you undetectable by sensory means. You can only fully attack when unmerged, but you do so silently. When merged, you can move around the object at your base speed. It only works on solid objects, though it hasn't been ruled (to my knowledge) that it can work on liquids. I would argue that it can, but experiment and find out for yourself!

(Hiru Banshō: Bōka no Jutsu) - Leech All Creation: Attack Prevention Technique

The user is still aware of the world outside the object and can travel inside it at his normal running speed. The technique was used so far by 3 ninjas (Yamato, Orochimaru and Uchiha Madara) but as an advanced ninjutsu, it can be used by any skilled enough ninja.
Note: the user must be Sannin Rank and above

For this one, you channel your chakra after forming a seal to remove a tag that's hidden from sight that might potentially be a trap, all while disabling it. It's good for scenarios outside of battle, but I personally don't find practical use for it otherwise.

Jakai focused his chakra all throughout his body. He then focused his chakra on the ground beneath him, slowly merging with the ground and being completely submerged. Jakai then moved through the ground, though being merged with the ground, he didn't really move per say. Jakai would then slowly and silently rise up from the ground right behind his sensei. Once completely out of the ground, Jakai would spook his sensei. Boo! (Happy October :))

Using his chakra, Jakai would pull the tag towards his hand while simultaneously deactivating it. Well this is definitely useful for deactivating Fuinjutsu Tags.

Great. Now we're going to go over the summoning technique and related jutsus. We've already learned how to summon weapons from scrolls, but let's go over the mechanisms that enable this. We know there are things like seals, blood signing, chakra input, etc... how does everything integrate together? List it to me in a process, as well an explanation for each step.

Do this for both a regular weapon summoning and an animal contract.

Of course, if you have questions or would like me to explain it in my own words too, let me know.

Jakai thought for a moment. He was sure he understood the mechanics, especially considering he even signed his own contract. Well, like usual, handseals are simply done in order to better assist one in controlling their chakra as they perform a technique. Now blood signing is unique in that it binds a person to a certain contract. This entails that they stick to this contract. It seems as though, in normal situations, one can only be signed to 2 animal summoning contracts. There are some exceptions though (Nathan z.z Got 4 Contracts - 2 Normal, 1 for Gyojin, 1 for Konoha). Blood signings are more significant, as it is a literal contract between the user and the animals they summon, which is why users have to offer blood each time they summon an animal from their contract. Chakra input is dependent on the type of summoning that happens. Offering less chakra would summon weaker summons, while offering more chakra can summon stronger and larger summons. Seals are used to unlock the specific thing that is summoned. Seals can be preset, like a scroll that holds water trapped in a seal. One can summon the water by unlocking the seal.

The step goes as follows for animal summons: Draw blood, perform handseals, using a varying amount of chakra input as you release the seal, by slamming your hand in the air or upon a scroll.

While as for weaponry, the same process happens, though it may not require blood to be drawn. Handseals are done and then one is to release the seals after offering the appropriate amount of chakra.

Summon a Rashomon; it's a large gate with a demonic face. Legends say it guarded Kyoto.

Each of these scrolls contains a different number of Rashomons; note the chakra differences in terms of input you need in order to break the seal and summon them. Just make sure you don't crush us, ok?

This is just for training. In a real fight, you'll now have access to them and don't need a scroll :D

This technique can defend the user against any S-Rank technique but, due to its enormous scale, becomes hard to use in most situations because of the area one needs to summon the gates.

Jakai listened in on his sensei as he spoke about the details. He walked to the three scrolls, with his sensei standing behind him. After performing the necessary handseals and drawing blood, Jakai would slam his hand on the first scroll, causing a large gate to rise up. Jakai looked around the gate by walking to the other side, noting the demon like face. Jakai then moved on to the next scroll, following the same procedure, only causing 3 gates to appear in front of him. Jakai would finish off with the final scroll, summoning 5 Demon Gates, with Jakai and his sensei standing behind them all.

To summon the creature the ninja will wipe blood on his hand, perform the Boar → Dog → Bird → Monkey → Ram handseals and then touch the ground or another object, where a sealing formula will appear. Though it appears that as long as significant pressure is placed against the blood in some form, the summon will be complete, most summoning uses use a solid surface, though in some cases it can even be done mid air. There can be variations to the summoning steps, some ninja like Temari will wipe blood on her fan, then by swinging the fan the animal is summoned. Other ninja like Orochimaru wipe the blood across a snake tattoo on their arm first, then touch the ground. Others will clap their hands directly like Nagato through the use of his Animal Path. Excellent!

These two are defensive-based jutsus that create domes around the user. The Wire Cage is a mesh/lattice that has openings which allow you to see the outside, but also may allow smaller, liquid/energy based techniques through. It's strangely underutilized because you can form the dome, protect from taijutsu, and manipulate the strings to snare and bind your opponent. Not sure how many handseals it requires; do you know?

Second one is straightforward, but attacks from underneath go through. It's the jutsus' "weak spot", so to speak.

Which one do you prefer, and why? What can you tell me about your favorite one that I might not have gone over?

I watched a clip from the episode it was shown in. It seems to only be 3 handseals. Seems very useful actually. I'd be able to stop people who rush in aimlessly. Though the fact that it's like a mesh can be both good and bad, depending on if you want things to pass through or not.

Second one is great since it can block all B-Rank techs. I understood from Scorp's explanation, even B-Rank techs that have their damage increased would still not be able to penetrate through this technique, so that's nice.

I actually enjoy the second technique more. I like specifically how it's quick and covers all around the user, except the ground of course. And I also like how it can defend from increased power B-Rank attacks, not just regular ones.

These next four jutsus are part of the "Manipulated Tools" branch; all of these techniques are Tenten's signature style: weapon/scroll based barrages.

Multi-Blade Chaos has you summoning a weapon that can lift targets into the air and assault them by swinging them around and chaining attacks together. Note that you can't use other jutsus while controlling the weapons.

Weapon Gun are a bunch of tools (shurikens, kunais, etc) that you can fire at your target like... a machine gun. Simple and to the point. However, this one is relatively redundant, in my opinion.

Spinning Swallow Show utilizes tonfa: police batons! It starts off with a simple dual tonfa strike and a subsequent bo strike.
The tonfa and bo are unique in what sense? Tell me a little bit about their properties and how they differ from say... bladed weapons.

And finally, Heavenly Steel Disaster is a good trap where you unravel a scroll above your target, raining down kunais and chains which trap and pierce your target.

Jakai first started by taking out two scrolls and jumping into the air. The scrolls would open up as Jakai floated in the air and weapons would start flying towards the target Jakai previously set up. A final blade appeared that sent the target in the air, and Jakai takes a chain to grab onto it and slam it back on the ground, only to have another volley of weapons thrown at it.

Also, the bo staff can be used on either end, which allows for great versatility, as opposed to most weapons which have one end that can only be used seriously."

Perceiving the user's position is possible only for ninja who are astute enough to observe minute variations within their surrounding environment, such as distortions of air currents in the immediate vicinity or distinguishing sounds, i.e. footsteps etc. However, the usefulness of this ability can be entirely negated by those with special vision or sensory skills. The Second Tsuchikage, Mū's mastery of this technique helped earn him the moniker "Non-Person" seemingly having neither form nor chakra while the technique was active. Thus, he could not be sensed through traditional means.

There is no need for preparations beforehand, like stocking up on shuriken, yet since the shadow clones are real and not illusions, all the shadow blades that fly around are equally lethal. This is valid for any weapon copied and it has been seen that the copied weapons will also have the tags or markings of the original, like sealing or explosive tags or sealing marks.

Description: The Mutually Multiplying Explosive Tags is a technique which forms part of a fighting style purposely designed for those who have been reincarnated or are otherwise very resistant to damage, and employs the use of special explosive tags to create a near infinite series of explosions. The user will throw several (up to 5) special exploding tags at the enemy formed from large sheets that each bear five seals on them. These special tags then attach themselves to the intended target, but just as they detonate, summon additional tags that in turn create more as they too explode. This process is continuously repeated, leading to a near infinite chain reaction of consecutive explosions which engulf a gigantic area, mid range all around. The technique's unique drawback is that to fully use it you need to be in short range of the target, making it almost suicidal for users who cannot take on the damage and remain unarmed, users that cannot escape its range in time or users who cannot heal themselves from the damage, thus being ideal to be used by Edo Tensei summons.

Though it appears that as long as significant pressure is placed against the blood in some form, the summon will be complete, most summoning uses use a solid surface, though in some cases it can even be done mid air. There can be variations to the summoning steps, some ninja like Temari will wipe blood on her fan, then by swinging the fan the animal is summoned. Other ninja like Orochimaru wipe the blood across a snake tattoo on their arm first, then touch the ground. Others will clap their hands directly like Nagato through the use of his Animal Path. So. I want you to create a shadow clone, and have it transform into one of those large shuriken things, then from there you will use said shuriken, you will throw it at my own clone, as the shuriken gets closer to my clone, your shuriken should transform back into your clone, and punch my clone in the face. Pretty neat technique, you can also use kunai and small shuriken for extra damage if you wish. Thing with this technique is that you need to make a clone before you can use this.

Okay I want you to create two shadow clones, once you have done that I want you to get the clones to perform the handseals Dog → Rabbit → Monkey → Clap Hands, as soon as they both clap their hands, I want you to tell them to get out many shuriken which they will throw, and by the clones using their chakra, they will be able to multiply the thrown shuriken to do more damage to my clone.

Okay so I want you to perform the seals, from that slam your hands on the ground, and by using your chakra you will be able to send a crap load of paper bombs though the ground, and use your chakra to keep them hidden from sight. Then you send the paper bombs towards my clone, they move though the ground without disrupting it or anything, as they get close to my clone, they will start to come out of the ground, and crawl up my clones legs and soon his whole body, you can detonate them at anytime. You can also put this in your own earth techniques, make them so much more powerful.
