Eh, 1,000? This dude seems hardcore...., Carl flops himself on the ground and begins doing his assigned push-ups. As he's going up and down, he begins to explain what he knows about the Eight Gates, "The Eight Gates are a series of stages that can be unlocked, giving you a boost of power. With each Gate increasing in power, it gives you the strength to exceed normal limits. The first gate, is the Gate of Opening. It allows the user to tap into ALL of their physical strength, when a regular human could only utilize twenty, percent. The second Gate rejuvinates the body, while adding onto the user's strength. Most of the Gates have a signature technique (i.e, Morning Peacock, Night Elephant), the third Gate's would be the Reverse Lotus. The blood flow increases so rapidly, it physically causes the skin to turn into a bright reddish color.
The Gate of Pain is released at the spinal cord. It causes an overall increase of speed and power. There is a chance it'll tear your muscles though. The fifth Gate does the same thing as the fourth, except for a different opening location. The Gate of Joy does the same thing, but it emits a big, colorless aura. It pushes away because of how strong it is.This Gate gives you the power of the Morning Peacock. The gate of wonder, emits a strong greenish, bluish aura. The aura is sweat seeping out the pores of the skin and hitting the air. The aura also happens due to the heat energy from their body. It's opening is located near the stomach area, this increases strength thoroughly, and once used gives you the power of the Day Time Tiger. But there's a consequence, it completely SHREDS your muscles, leaving you helpless. Finally, the Gate of Death. The strongest Gate, it gives you an unimaginable amount of power, even greater than the five Kage. When opened by jabbing your heart, you emit blood from the poors of your body, also called 'red steam' it acts as an aura. It increases your speed to the MAXIMUM, being able to bend space withh sheer movement alone. It gives you the power of the Evening Elephant and Night Guy. As the name suggests, it comes with a cost of your life"
As Carl finishes his little report on the Eight Gates, he finsishes up with push-ups with sweat running down his face. This is going to be intense....
