[Raiton] Training with L-Sempai

Avoiding getting hit by the pebbles, Carl throws up his left arm in way so it's directly facing the sky. Manipulating his Raiton chakra, he shoots a focused discharge in the air while still avoiding the rocks. Then pulling his hand down and pointing towards the clone, a swift strike of lightning crashes down and obliterates it conpletely. "Those rocks actually hurt, y'know"

Afterwards, he hastily performs the [Ram → Boar → Dog → Bird → Hare] seals, then releases his Raiton chakra beneath him. Pulling his hands up, four large pillars for around the clone, while he focuses his chakra. Releasing it through the pillars, an array of lightning bolts strike with the utmost speed, dispersing the clone.

Letting out a fairly large sigh, Carl walks towards Dean and sits on a rock with a strangely flat surface. "Alright, for the first one, in terms of using it in battle, I would use it when i'm being surrounded, letting out multiple strikes to kill multiple enemies. Now as for advantages, like I said, you can strike multiple enemies at once, clearing the threat level. As for disadvantages, the range can prove a problem if your opponent likes to fight long distance. Then we have the fact that you have to send out a discharge, that's basically a warning signal"

"Moving on, the second one should be used when your opponent is a small distance. Seeing how four pillars surround them, yet they had to be in a cartain spot, I assume the range is limited. A disadvantage is the fact that they most likely have to be still, since if they're moving it'll be hard to surrouns them with pillars. An advantage is, once trapped, the pillars deal massive amounts of damage. This can be helpful when you're trying to subdue an opponent"

"Okay, that's good, Carl. Here are the jutsu you just learned."

"Okay, for the first one. Perform the Rabbit → Dog → Boar → Ram → Rat handseals, and generate a large amount of Lightning around your hands. This lightning can be released in a unfocused manner or it can be passed through a conductive material, like say, water techniques, to make them more deadly. So, you should release this wave of Lightning into a water technique after you performed it. It can't be done simultaneously. So, first water technique, then Lightning. Use it against my clone."

"After that, bring your hands together and manipulate your Lightning based chakra to make Lightning crackle around them. After that, slam your hands onto the ground and release the Lightning into the ground, and make it travel along the surface of the earth. The current will move towards the opponent, and then split into multiple tendrils to attack the opponent from different sides. Use it against my clone."

Upon receiving orders, Carl immediately spits out a huge wave of water. Then performing the [Rabbit → Dog → Boar → Ram → Rat] seals, he extends his hands and releases waves of lightning in a disorganized and unfocused manner. Upon contacting the wave, the lightning then begins to be conducted by the water, making it even more deadly as it crashes against the clone in full force. As the clone disperses, and water splashes everywhere, Carl raises both his arms in an "X" shape to cover his face from being drenched, "The water's waay to cold for that"

As he slowly puts his hands down, Carl hears loud footsteps, turning his head only to find another clone dashing his way. "Alrighty then" he sighs, putting his hands together, he begins to focus his Raiton chakra in both of them. Hearing a crackle sound, he then slams both hands on the ground, pushing the lightning current along the surface of the Earth. Once it reaches the clone, it splits into small tendrils and impales the clone from all directions, "Pretty SHOCKED, that worked" he laughs, then coughs a little due to the slight fatigue.

Turning around, he sweeps his bangs to the side then wipes the sweat off his forehead. "Well, the first technique can be used in conjunction with Suiton techniques, so basically using it in battle is a breeze. You can make a gigantic wave then charge it with electricity to get rid of multiple opponents at once. So an advantage would be the merging of the two elements. A disadvantage, would be the inability to perform them both at once."

Pausing in the intense heat, he takes off his shirt revealing a gray and black stripped tank top, he then takes his water bottle from his belt, drinking away until there's none left. "Where was I? Oh yeah, the second one, it can be used by charging electricity through the surface of the ground. The preferred time to use it would probably when an enemy is charging at you and you want to get rid of them. An advantage is the tendrils are omni-directional, while a disadvantage is they have to be on the ground for it to work"

"Very good, Carl. Now, something that you should know, the Lightning tendrils need a constant feeding of chakra for them to go towards the opponent. So if the opponent somehow breaks this concentration, the tendrils cease to exist. Here are the jutsu you just learned."

"Okay, now for the next two. First, I want you to raise your hand into the air, and generating a powerful bolt of electricity which travels through your body and then be released towards the opponent, in the form of a lightning bolt. So basically, your body acts as a medium for the Lightning to travel through. Try it against my clone."

"Then, after that, manipulate your Lightning based chakra between your two hands. As it starts to crackle and gain some form, use shape manipulation to form this Lightning into a rope, which you can use as a whip to lash at opponent's . Whip that clone!"

Carl raises his left hand in the air, he generates a powerful surge of electricity. Having it travel throughout his body completely, he lowers his hand and shoots a lightning bolt right at the running clone. "Pretty sweet" he mutters, genuinely impressed with the technique. Afterwards, hearing the footsteps of yet another clone, Carl begins to direct his Raiton chakra into his palms. Sending it in between his hands, a crackling sound can be heard, with a small all of lightning, Carl gives it shape and creates a medium-sized whip. Taking the whip, Carl strikes the clone (who is now at mid-range) across the chest. Releasing the jutsu, he sweeps his bangs to the left again, and wipes his face, "Why is it soooo, damn, hot?" he complains.

Turning towards Dean, he begins to follow through with the routine, "For the first technique, using it in battle might be a little tricky. Since the technique requires a small charge, you might want to create clones beforehand. A disadvantage would be the small charge, while the advantage would be the fact that you're a medium for the lightning, capable of releasing it with a quickness as any given time. Now, the second technique should be used if you're trying to bind your opponent. I'm going to go on a whim and say it's really similar to Water Whip due to the whole premise of it. An advantage is you can temporarily bind and shock your opponent at the same time, then you can fire a Suiton technique to add to the damage. A disadvantage would be the crackling noise. This makes it hard for you to hide your presence if you're trying to perform a sneak attack"

"Okay Carl. First, manipulate your Lightning based chakra in your dominant hand, and use shape manipulation to start forming it into a hound like shape. This hound of Lightning can then run at your opponent and shock him, but stays attached to your hand and you should keep fueling your chakra into it. Fairly easy, try it out on my clone."

"After that, manipulate your Lightning based chakra, and utilize it to form a spear of Lightning that you emit from your mouth >.> This spear is capable of being split in two, to strike multiple enemies. Throw it towards my clone in an Ulqiourra style!!"

After taking a quick stretch, Carl begins to focus his Raiton chakra in his right hand, he begins to shape his chakra into a hound-like shape. Extending his arms outward, he pushes the clone towards the clone. He then makes the clone dash to the right, then towards the left with great speed, constantly pumping his chakra into the lightning composed beast. As it strikes the clone, the latter imdiately disperses while sparks fly all around, "Wow, fireworks" he smirks.

Laughing at Dean's words, Carl nods, manipulating his chakra in such fashion, Carl emits a meter long lightning spear from his mouth. He then takes it, and splits it in two, shortening the length. Observing the clone running towards him, he takes both spears and hurls them towards it, with the one in the right aiming for his left knee-cap, and the one of the left, aiming for his left knee-cap. After hitting in succession, Carl drops his hands, turning towards Dean, "Well the first one is pretty neat, I like the whole hound manipulation to it. Using it in battle should be easy, if you want to create distance that is. You can easily create ground between you and your foe. An advantage is, it should be pretty swift moving, capturing your opponent off-guard. A disadvantage is, the fact you'll have to remain focused on it, constantly pumping chakra since it's connected to your hand. Now focusing on the spears, you can use them in close range, but you can also use them from a distance. I would prefer from a distance, considering once thrown, you can then run-up on your enemy while they're pre-occupied. Disadvantages, hm, I would say if you split the spears, their damage is halved. Now as for an advantage, splitting the spear and throwing it can be used against multiple enemies, which is extremely good"

"For the next one, create another Carl, made out of Lightning! Manipulate your Lightning based chakra, and focus it to form a complete copy of yourself, that is nearly impossible to discern from yourself. This clone is capable of using Lightning up to B rank, and is able to use ninjutsu and taijutsu techniques as well as he has all the normal moves the you have. Use the clone, to defeat my clone >_O"

"After that, hold your sword, and channel a large amount of Lightning based chakra into it. This increases it's vibration frequency, making it sharper, and more dangerous. Use it to cut right through my clone."

A clone out of lightning? Wow, this shit gets cooler and cooler! Regaining his focus, Carl manipulates his Raiton chakra and thinks of an exact copy of himself. Releasing his Raiton chakra like he would a shadow clone, Carl creates a perfect replica of himself, entirely composed of lightning. He then directs the clone to attack Dean's, by jumping up, then coming down behind it, he then turns around, stabbing it in the back of the neck, "Looks like I won," he laughs, then disappearing in a little shock of lightning.

Unsheathing his sword, Carl begins to charge his Raiton chakra throughout, giving it the slight appearance of a light sabre. Gazing at the cool looking weapon, he then hears the second running towards him. As he dashes, he holds the sword with his left hand, using his right hand to punch the right side of the clone's face, Carl then takes the sword and cuts horizontally, slicing through it like butter. After it disperses, he plops down where he stands, and turns towards Dean.

"Using the first one in battle, it can be used as a distraction, seeing that it's completely composed of lightning, once engaged in hand-to-hand combat, it gives you the advantage. When hurt, it might release a shock, paralyzing the enemy giving you time to strike back. Now an advantage would be it shocking the opponent once defeated, a disadvantage is the fact it can only use up to B-Rank Raiton techniques. Overall not bad"

"Now, for the second one, it can be used in Kenjutsu battles, or when the opponent creates a Doton wall then hides behind it, you can easily pierce through it to get to them. An advantage would be the cutting power is increased, making it easier to slice and impale your opponents. A disadvantage is you'll have to constantly charge your chakra into it so it won't disperse"

"Okay, for the next two. For the first one, form the Rat hand seal, and manipulate your Lightning based chakra, and raise your hand to the sky. You then send your Lightning based chakra into the sky, and trigger a electrical discharge. Try it against my clone."

"Then, take out two large Windmill shuriken, and channel your Lightning based chakra into it. Then, throw it towards the opponent, to pin him down and maintaining a connection with the shuriken with a electrical cable. When hit, the opponent will be numbed."

Forming a Rat seal, Carl yawns then throws his left hand into the air, as it faces the sky, he begins to charge his Raiton chakra into his left arm. After flicking his wrist back, he sends his lightning based chakra into the sky, triggering what seems to be somewhat of an electrical discharge, after shocking Dean's clone, Carl's eyes open a little wider than before, a little awed by the result, "Holy shit, did you see that?" he says as he turns to Dean, "That was epic!"

After recovering from his little, awesome-high, Carl turns around and dashes towards the bushes. Pulling out two large wind-mill Shuriken, his faces has a wide mischievous grin upon it, "Well, let's get to it," he says. He then grips them harder before as he channels his Raiton chakra into each of them, raising his hands, he throws them both at the same time, similar to Frisbee. As the leave his hands, a small, thin, electrical cable can be seen, he grips them as the shuriken impale the clones in the upper chest area, just below the throat, "Not bad, not bad. Now as far as explaining them though, let's get started. The first one should be used from anywhere from short to mid-range. I personally feel as if the shock can be anticipated but, whatever. As an advantage, it only requires one seal, then it can probably span to mid-range. Now as for a disadvantage, if the opponent catches you sending your chakra into the air, they can most likely get the gist of what you're attempting. Now for the second one, you simply charge your chakra into shurikens and throw them. Note that they ARE connected to thing electrical cables and what-not. Now, an advantage is, since it's charge by lightning, it should have more cutting power than Fuuton enhances weapons, due to the lightning's piercing properties. A bad side is you'll have to constantly put chakra into it, hence the cable"

"Next, an easy one. Point your hands forwards, and manipulate your Lightning based chakra. Release it forward in the form of a purple lightning that knocks the enemy away. It is however, limited in terms of range. Try it on my clone.

After that, manipulate your Lightning based chakra to form a plasma barrier around yourself. This serves a defense against incoming attacks, but it's a bit crappy because you basically can only use CQC and Lightning attacks. You can rush at your opponent with the barrier active, and even release it towards your opponent, ending the barrier. Try it out against my clone."

Limited range, huh? Better get close then. Carl walks up to the newly made clone, standing about one meter from him, he raises both of his hands, directing his lightning chakra into his palms. He then releases it, taking form of a purple lightning bolt, it hits, then knocks away the defenseless doppleganger. "Ooh, not bad" Carl says, surpised.

Seeing the clone run towards him, he manipulates his Raiton chakra outward, causing a thin layer of lightning-like plasma to engulf him. As the clone is about, point blank-range from him, he directs the plasma towards it, causing it to fly back and disperse.

With the layer of plasma no longer present, Carl turns towards Dean, "The first one is pretty simple, you just extend your hands and fire away. I suggest using it in close battles, y'know, since it's range is limited and what-not. An advantage is, there's basically no preparations whatsoever, so it's a fast technique to pull off. Now, a disadvantage might be the range, not really reliable since it's probably mid-range based. As for the second technique, you just focus your chakra, then release it outward, causing a thin layer of plasma to shield you. You can use it to block basic Taijutsu attacks in CQC, now that's a good thing. The bad thing is that, you're forced to ONLY use Raiton techniques, and also stuck with basic Taijutsu."

"Okay, so now this one is easy. First manipulate your Lightning based chakra, and form an orb made of Lightning that your raise into the air. This orb of Lightning will then stay in the air for a short while, several seconds, before releasing a rain of Lightning towards the enemy. This of course, would shock the opponent. Try it against my clone."

"After that, form the Monkey → Ox → Boar → Tiger hand seals, and manipulate your Lightning based chakra. Then, release a discharge of Lightning from your hands and use shape manipulation to form it into several disks of Lightning. Think of Krillin's technique in that manga, Dragonball Z. Yeah I read that, it was awesome. Use it against my DBZ themed clone."

"Ah, alright, got it", taking his right arm, Carl focuses his lightning natured chakra into his palm, creating a shining orb made of pure lightning. As the light gleams in Carl's eye, he squints and quickly throws it into the air on accident, completely forgetting it was required for the technique to work, "Oh shi--", an incoming thought interrupts his sentence, he remembers that the ball of lightning being thrown into the air was needed, sighing in relief, he waits and watches the clone sprint hits direction. Moments later, the ball shots out shower of small lightning bolts in directions, hitting the clone in the process. Shielding his face, he backs up from it's range until it's over.

Sighing in relief that he didn't get hurt, he quickly resumes by performing four handseals [Monkey → Ox → Boar → Tiger], he charges his chakra into his hands, then releases a unfocused discharge of lightning. As the attack carries on, he uses his shape manipulation to form them into several medium-sized disk that strike the clone with great precision. "Well, that's, that. Anyway, the first technique is used by focusing it, then releasing it into the air. I would say it can only be used to mid-range, and such. A disadvantage is, it takes time to release the attack. An advantage is, the attack is omni-directional. The next one is used by releasing it as unfocused chakra, then shaping it into disk. I say, it goes long range and is pretty useful as a get-away. An advantage is it's penetrative force, and the fact it releases several disks. Now, the bad side is, I assume it's limited in terms of catching your opponent off-guard. It's really linear"

"Okay, now form the Ox → Rabbit→ Monkey → Dragon → Rat → Bird → Ox →Snake → Dog → Tiger → Monkey hand seals. Then focus your Lightning based chakra in your dominant hand. You will then form concentrated Lightning in that hand, and it will produce a chirping sound like a bird. Yep, it's a chidori! Rush towards your opponent and thrust with this hand, capable of great piercing and penetrating power. Try it."

"First, form a Chidori, then, focus your Lightning based chakra around your body, and release it in the form of a non focused Lightning that only has numbing effects. This technique can be used to as an omnidirectional attack, or be channeled through weapons, the ground, and other conductive materials. To channel Nagashi through a medium,you need to focus the technique into one of your hands which will then be put in contact with the medium and can only choose to either do a widespread attack throughout your whole body or to channel it into something; you cannot achieve both usages at the same time. That is important. Although it is non-focused, it can still destroy low ranking Earth and Wood techniques and even negate chakra on the ground to stop high ranked earth and wood techniques. Try it on my clone."

Chidori?! Isn't that the jutsu that Kakashi uses? No...that's Raikiri, same thing though, alright, I got this! Carl begins to weave through the needed handseals, [Ox → Rabbit→ Monkey → Dragon → Rat → Bird → Ox →Snake → Dog → Tiger → Monkey], charging his chakra into his right hand. Right at that moment, his hand is completely covered in lightning, a chirping sound goes through the training grounds and Carl releases a big sigh, prepared to give it his all. Taking is right hand and putting it on his wrists, Carl sprints towards the clone, piercing it right in the heart area as it disperses. As he tries to come to a halt, he continues to advance, so he sticks his right foot out, sliding towards a bush. Just as he was about to hit it, he comes to a sudden stop, he wipes the sweat off his face, "That was close..."

After that fiasco happened, Carl does the same handseals, [Ox → Rabbit→ Monkey → Dragon → Rat → Bird → Ox →Snake → Dog → Tiger → Monkey], forming another Chidori. He then takes a kunai from his back pouch with his left hand, throwing it in his right hand, it connects then conducts the active current, increasing it's piercing power. As he dashes towards the clone, he extends his right hand outward, stabbing the clone in the center of his chest, dispersing it immediately.

"Chidori is used by focusing your chakra into your dominant hand, then running on your opponent, piercing them. An advantage is, it can pierce through almost anything, a downside is the amount of handseals needed to perform it, plus, it's a very linear technique, so dodging if someone attacks you while using it is near impossible. As for the second one, it's used by making another Chidori, but you charge the chakra throughout your body, or on a weapon. An advantage is, you can release it in an unfocused, omni-directional form, then a setback is you have to re-create Chidori again, then the omni-directional attack isn't that strong"

"Okay, now form 3 hand seals, and manipulate your Lightning based chakra. Then place both your hands on the ground, and send an enormous amount of Lightning through the ground towards the opponent, which cuts through the very ground. The shape of the bolt is a triangular with the base in the direction of the user and the tip headed towards the opponent, quite powerful. Try it on my clone."

"Then, another Chidori variant. Form a chidori in your dominant hand, and use shape manipulation to form it into a several Lightning based senbon. Without further a due, these senbon can be launched towards the opponent, and has some numbing and paralyzing effects. It does quite some damage though, so if you manage to hit your opponent with this, they could be done for. Throw my clone."

Carl quickly weaves through three handseals, manipulating his chakra into his hands, he slams them on the surface of the ground beneath him, sending a large surge through the ground, vanquishing the clone on the spot.

Afterwards, he creates another Chidori in his right hand, manipulating it in such a way, he creates a small bunch of lightning Senbon. Facing the clone, he releases them all, as they penetrate it, dispersing it, he turns around, facing Dean.

"For the first one, you basically charge chakra into your hand, then release a surge of lightning into the ground. It's pretty useful if your opponent is on the ground, but if they're not it'll be a waste of chakra. As for the next one, you create another Chidori, then manipulate it to create small lightning based Senbon. It's good for spreading out, and it being precise, but a downside is it's limited range. Plus, since they're small, they don't exactly cover much ground"

"Okay, for the next two. First, an easy one. Start up by manipulating your Lightning based chakra in your dominant hand. Then cause it to form a ball of Lightning, that you can hurl towards your opponent. Quite fast technique, and once the ball hits, it explodes into a massive Lightning explosion. Use it on my clone."

"After that, form the Rat → Monkey → Horse → Tiger hand seals, and create a even more powerful version of Lightning Release: Four Pillar Bind. You the create sixteen pillars that rise from the ground, and form a giant cubic oven, which traps the enemy. Combined with Earth Release: Mud Fall and Fire release: Firing Biscuit, you can basically cook the enemy in the oven :| Use it on my clone."
