Okay

*I sit down and I begin concentrating, relaxing and slowing down my breathing rate. I begin gathering my chakra and I make it flow freely, imitating the characteristics of water. I start focusing it in my center and I start to expand it. I weave the necessary hand seals to help mold more chakra, to better the technique I’m about to perform. I begin forcing the chakra towards my mouth and as I release it, I start to manipulate into a large water bullet that races to a nearby oak tree, and smashes the tree in half*

~I suck at this :T_T:
Excellent! See, not that hard. :)

Now, this whole method uses the same principle for all the techniques. You gather chakra, release it and shape manipulate into a bullet. There are small differences here and there, but in general the principle is the same. As you can see, there's not much techniques in this method for the exact same reason that water is epic. Because it's such a versatile element it has a large amount of different techniques which is my I love it. Now, I need you to think of how you could defend if these techniques were used against you.

(Suiton No Jutsu) - Water technique
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary/Attack/Defence
Range: Short-Mid
Damage Points:20
Description: Creates small waves of water, small blasts, and small shields of water.

A very simple technique, which as said lets you create small objects which you can use for multiple purposes.

(Suiton: Teppoudama) - Water Style: Water Bullet
Rank: C
Type: Attack
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Descripton: A large sphere of rotating water that is spit out of the users mouth that can blast a huge area leaving it soaked.

Now the basic projectile you have been performing a few posts ago.

(Suiton: Suikoundan) - Water Style: Water shark bomb
Rank: C
Type: Attack
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: A water projectile shaped like a shark that comes crashing down on the opponent.
(No water source required)

This is again a "bullet" but you shape it to look like a shark.

(Suiton: Teppoudama) - Water Style: Water Bullet
Rank: B
Type: Offense
Range: Short/Long
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: 40
Description: The user will do one handseal and will gather water in his mouth and then spits out a large sphere of rotating water that can blast a huge area leaving it soaked. It can also be used in quick succession to shoot up to 3 smaller but faster bullets of water.

This is pretty much the same as the previous water bullet except that it allows you to create three bullets at great speed. When you divide a technique like this, then it's power is also divided, so if you were to perform the 3 bullets version then they would all together be B rank, while each would be 1/3 of B rank.

(Suiton: Daikōdan no Jutsu) – Water Release: Great Shark Missile Technique
Rank: S
Type: Attack
Range: Short – Long
Chakra cost: 40
Damage points: 80
Description: The user performs Tiger – Serpent hand seals to create a stronger version of the Water Release: Water shark Bomb technique, which creates a gigantic shark, far larger than the user, to attack the opponent. This technique differs from its parent jutsu in being able to absorb the chakra from an opponent's technique, and in turn use that chakra to grow larger and more powerful.
Note: Technique can only absorb up to B rank level techniques.

Well, as explained, just a much stronger and bigger version. The interesting thing is that it can absorb B rank techniques.

How to avoid:This jutsu isn’t really a powerful jutsu, being D-Rank and all, and it can be avoided easily by using a Doton style jutsu.

(Suiton: Teppoudama) - Water Style: Water Bullet
Rank: C
Type: Attack
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Descripton: A large sphere of rotating water that is spit out of the users mouth that can blast a huge area leaving it soaked.

Now the basic projectile you have been performing a few posts ago.
How to avoid: This jutsu can be avoided by creating a pillar of earth to push myself out of the water bullet's path.

(Suiton: Suikoundan) - Water Style: Water shark bomb
Rank: C
Type: Attack
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: A water projectile shaped like a shark that comes crashing down on the opponent.
(No water source required)

This is again a "bullet" but you shape it to look like a shark.
How to avoid: This jutsu can be blocked/avoided by sending earth chakra through the ground to make a small wall that the water shark bomb collides with.

(Suiton: Teppoudama) - Water Style: Water Bullet
Rank: B
Type: Offense
Range: Short/Long
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: 40

How to avoid: I’d counter this jutsu by making an earth wall, or by using a wind technique that’s powerful enough to send the projectiles out of my way.

(Suiton: Daikōdan no Jutsu) – Water Release: Great Shark Missile Technique
Rank: S
Type: Attack
Range: Short – Long
Chakra cost: 40

Well, as explained, just a much stronger and bigger version. The interesting thing is that it can absorb B rank techniques.
How to avoid: To avoid this technique, I’d use a S-Rank earth style jutsu to fight the shark, because water is weaker than earth, but this specific jutsu can absorb up to B-Rank jutsu’s, so a higher rank jutsu, like a S-rank jutsu would counter the Great Shark Missile Technique

Hope I did it right >_>, if not, then please bury me :x3:

It's excellent, actually. Just my opinion, you don't always have to rely on the elements weakness to fight it. You could also use wind against water. It would go pretty well, as well. You see, there are some specific wind techniques that do exactly this; repel projectiles. And since this method is about water projectiles all you have to do is match the rank and size (more or less) and you have a solid defense. You can also use fire to evaporate the water. You'd do this if you're in need of a "protection" of sorts, in order to conceal your position and your next actions. Why and how? Because fire evaporating water creates steam, and as they collide a smokescreen appears in between you two. This can give you a good opportunity to finish the opponent, but you also have to be careful because your opponent can use the same against you. This would work very well if you had dojutsu, for example.

Hmm okie
Method 2: Streams/Water Sources

A stream can be defined as a flow of water in a channel or bed, as a small river or rivulet..
As it relates to Naruto, its like a continuous flow of water.
Water sources, however, are areas in which large masses of water are located, for example, a river or lake..
Techniques in this method continuously release large amounts of water, therefore, they can create water sources, in which other suiton users can use too (this is a major advantage of this technique).

This is different than a projectile because, since this is continuous, it carries more force than the projectile. This technique would provide the user with a longer and wider range of reach to your opponents.

There is, however, a disadvantage to using this technique; when doing these techniques, the user cannot perform any other technique, because these techniques require the user to constantly pour your chakra into them, and to keenly focus on them for the duration of the technique. So if your opponent decides to attack you from a different angle, you will need to defend and thus you will have to end the technique prematurely.

That Akatsuki banner looks awesome xD
Congrats :)

Excellent. Did you use and of the highlighters to mark the important words to copy them easier? :p Just joking. Alright, so as you said, these are continuous streams and water sources. These can again, be from your mouth, your hands, feet, body, etc. This depends on the technique itself. However, the main thing is that you focus chakra continually into them, and as long as you do so, you can't perform other techniques. Now, could you create a stream of water from your hands? Make it like a small river and let it flow away.

*Weaving the necessary handseals, I begin channeling my suiton chakra through my hands and I allow it to flow. I continuously pour chakra into the the technique, focusing strictly on that. As the water flows, I manipulate it like small river and I direct the flow of the water to a nearby lake. As the water flows into the lake, the level rises*

Alright, so you get the point. Because you're constantly fueling the technique with chakra you can't perform another one. This is your greatest limitation with this method. However, this can be very good against continuous fire streams. Now, do you think you could create a waterfall? =)

I lift the ground that we're standing at, 20 meters into the air using the moving earth core technique.

I can try.

*I begin gathering a good amount of suiton chakra and I begin concentrating on it. I then weave the required handseals and I try creating a waterfall by pouring out the chakra in the form of a wave that covers the whole platform we're standing on. I manipulate the wave to flow over one end of the raised platform. I continue pouring chakra into the technique, thus creating a waterfall.*

Congrats on your senseiship :)

Nicely done. :) So, you get the point. The technique persists as long as you keep adding chakra into it. This works very well against fire streams. Same principle just involving fire. And the same weaknesses and strengths apply. A situation between a stream of fire and stream of water would be like this:

Fire is B rank and water is C rank. Both ninja can keep the streams as long as they want because none of the techniques is overpowering the other one, thus acting like a loop.

Fire is B rank and water is B rank. Water would overpower the fire in this case and force the fire user to defend against it.

Fire is B rank and water is D rank. Fire would overpower the water in this case and force the water user to defend against it.

Questions?

Understood so far. Its pretty much B-Rank fire=C-rank water, B-Rank water>B-rank fire, and B-Rank fire>D-Rank water, right?

Yes, correct. You should know these in the middle of the night when someone wakes you up with a cold bucket of water: for all ranks and all elements. U_U

@Bold in my quote, just re-read it lol

But..but who'd wanna wake me up with a cold bucket of water :|
I, for example. The weaknesses and strengths, same as ranges of techniques should become a second nature to you, so that you know how to counter a technique by simply reading it and without much brainstorming. Once you're able to do that, you're on a good way to become an excellent RPer. I remember when I first started, I always had one thread open that had all the ranks and stuff and I always had to look into it before posting a technique, just to make sure. Now I know most of the techniques and most of the time I already know which technique I need by simply reading your move.

So yeah, back to the training. Do you have any questions so far? If not, we're starting with the short list of jutsus.

I'm working on making those things second nature to me, it'll take a while though..

Good. These are the C ranks for this method.

(Suiton: Suishōha) - Water Style: Water Shock wave
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points: N/A
Descripton: This technique allows the user after claping their hands together to make a spiralling vortex of water out of knowhere. The vortex then proceeds to explode from the top in the form of a wave. The user can also control the direction the wave goes with hand movements.

Alright, the trigger for this jutsu is clapping your hands together. This causes a spiraling vortex of water to appear and then crash down onto the opponent in a form of a wave. It's very cool because you can control it with hand movements, basically swings and swipes to the sides. Since the water comes out of no where, you can use it as a water source. This should give you move force behind the next technique because of it's fall. So for example, you create this and on top of it you manipulate it into a water beast that crashes down onto the opponent.

(Suiton: Taihoudan) - Water Style: Water Gun
Rank: C
Type: Attack
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Descripton: A strong water wave spit from the mouth that is more compressed than Chaos Water Wave and can carve the earth if used on the same area multiply times.

Simple yet effective. However, you can carve the earth itself, but not earth techniques above D rank because of the relation between water and earth. This can be useful as a jet to lift yourself up slightly, or to change directions while in mid air, for example. However, you need to have a solid structure on the other end, in order to generate enough force to push yourself away from it. Depending on the angle you spit it, you chose the direction where you want to go. But this is just an example. You can also simply use it as a water source when you already don't have one.

(Suiton: Seibun Houfutsu) - Water Style: Water Cannon Replica
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: N/A
Description: After performing the required hand signs the user makes water rise from the ground and surround his target and then drown it.

You basically create water from the surroundings and then you manipulate it into drowning your opponent with it. You force all the water you create to gather at one point and encase the opponent.

(Suiton: Suihachi) – Water Release: Hand of waves
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: the user will produce a fairly powerful jet of water from the user's hand.

You simply gather chakra in your hand and you slash it through the air. What this does is release a yet of slicing water towards the opponent. Very good in close combat and a lot of useful combinations can be made with this.

(Suiton: Takitsubo) - Water Style: Waterfall Basin
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: N/A
Description: This jutsu summons a large amount of water. Yamato used this technique along with Earth Release: Earth Flow Rampart to create a waterfall as an example of elemental chakra to Naruto. (No water source required)

Remember the waterfall you made a few posts ago? Well, this is it. If you're on flat ground though, you'll simply create a river, which more or less doesn't serve any other purpose other than creating a water source.

I like the fact that this technique can create a water source, thus fuelling another technique that needs a water source..
How to counter it: Hmm, I think to counter this, just simply get out of its range (dodging it)

This is a very quick technique to do, but it’s not very strong..
How to counter it: Use a Doton style jutsu to counter it, because the water would just be absorbed into the earth to the point where it just becomes muddy.

I like this technique because it can be used to trap the opponent, but it isn’t very powerful.
How to counter: Hmm, I would counter this by using a B-Rank fire technique to evaporate the water.

The good thing about this technique is that it doesn’t requite handseals, and it can be done quickly.
How to counter: To counter this, I would continually dodge it, or I would use Earth style or a high rank fire style jutsu to dissipate it.

(Suiton: Takitsubo) - Water Style: Waterfall Basin
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: N/A
Description: This jutsu summons a large amount of water. Yamato used this technique along with Earth Release: Earth Flow Rampart to create a waterfall as an example of elemental chakra to Naruto. (No water source required)

A very good advantage of this technique is that it creates a water cource.
How to counter: To counter it, use a high ranked Fire style jutsu (a stream or constant fire jutsu) to evaporate all the water, or you can use a earth style jutsu to defend against it..
