Good, now....*takes a chunk out of the ground and hands it to you* Place your hand over that bit of earth and mould it into something of your choice using your chakra.

Good, thats the most basic of earth techniques known as doton no jutsu.
Next you're going to control chakra in your feet and through the earth.

Now, using your chakra, manipulate the earth below and make a staff jump out of it. if you can.
