Ninjutsu uses Chakra to allow the user to do things that they would not normally be able to do. This can be anything from controlling the elements to creating copies of ones self. The user channels their Chakra and molds, shapes or transforms it to create various different effects, although in our Role play Elemental Ninjutsu is treated as a separate grouping of techniques and trained independently.

Chakra is a mixture of physical and mental energy. To successfully mold it and use it in techniques, you need to be able to combine these two. That shouldn't be a problem for a jounin (your rank). Also realize that there are two main aspects on molding them: shape and nature manipulation.
Shape manipulation seems obvious, nature manipulation is basically just changing the nature of your chakra so that it gets an elemental (to which a shinobi has an affinity)nature as it's manipulated.

(Ki Nobori no Shugyō) - Tree Climbing Practice

Description: This is a training method used to gain the basic skills of chakra control. This training involves focusing a fixed amount of chakra to the bottom of one's feet, and using that to climb a tree without using one's hands. If the stream of chakra is too weak, the user will lose their footing on the tree and fall off. If it is too strong, the user will be pushed away from the tree, causing the bark of the tree to break around the point of contact and the user to fall. This technique becomes second nature to shinobi with more practice.
Note: Technique only for use of training methods.
We've all seen this, and given your rank it should hardly create a problem for you. I want you to focus the right amount of chakra in your feet. Doing so will enable you to run on the tree, and when you stand still stick to it with your feet so you don't fall.

Akiko re-positions herself a couple of meters in front of a lone tree and channels her Chakra down into the soles of her feet, focusing on spreading the Chakra out evenly. After a couple of seconds of focusing Akiko charges towards the tree and travels up the length of it. She quickly glides over the bark of the tree leaving the path she travels untouched. Once she reaches the top of the tree she stops, continuing to focusing on the soles of her feet. She turns around and looks back down with a grin on her face.

To do this, the user has to be emitting a constant stream of chakra from the bottom of their feet and using the repellent force to walk across the water's surface. This technique is more difficult to master than the Tree Climbing Practice, because the amount of chakra that needs to be emitted changes constantly. This technique becomes second nature to shinobi with more practices.
Note: Technique only for use of training methods.
Good, same thing but harder. Constantly emit the same amount of chakra in your feet. Walk on the lake, but don't let it vary even a little bit, or you'll fall in the lake. Utmost focus is needed.

After being dragged to the lake Akiko looks out at the water. She focuses on her feet and begins to channel her Chakra down her legs and to her soles. After gaining the same amount of coverage on the soles of her feet that she achieved on the tree climbing exercise Akiko begins to channel more and focuses harder on keeping an even out put and distribution. Akiko then steps slowing onto the water. She takes a couple of steps before wobbling, loosing focus for just a second she begins to sink, but Akiko quickly reestablishes the continues stream of Chakra coming from her soles and regains balance. Akiko slowly walks out to the middle of the lake and turns around.
She waves her hands in the air and shouts "Yatta". (Heroes reference. o.o)

(Kage Shuriken no Jutsu) - Shadow Shuriken Technique
Akiko withdraws two average sized Windmill Shuriken from <_< >_> somewhere. She stands off in the direction of the tree holding a Shuriken in each hand and spins in an anti-clockwise manner, as she spins her left hand comes around first and as the spin gets half way round she releases the Windmill Shuriken from her left hand. It quickly spins out towards the tree. As she throws the first Shuriken she builds moment up in her right arm and charges the other shuriken forward releasing it a couple of seconds after the first, but with slightest more force. The two shurikens spin towards the tree rapidly, the second hiding just back and under from the first. As Akiko spins around she looses her footing and slumps to the floor, she looks up at the tree and sees the two Shurikens stuck into it, one just above the other.

Akiko gets up off the ground and prepares for the next Jutsu. She looks to the newly made clone and begins to release her Chakra from her body, forcing it at the clone. The Chakra quickly surrounds the clone and Akiko manipulates it to hold the clone in place. o.o
Akiko then withdraws a Kunai from her pouch and releases it out at the clone, when the Kunai makes contact it causes the clone to disperse in a cloud of smoke.

It was alright. And yes, pain, any kind will help you get out of it if there is a high rank difference. Higher rank = more pain requires.

Ok, create a swarm of cherry blossom petals around the opponent. Use your chakra to guide them and swirl around. By doing so, it will confuse them, and you can then attack them from an angle. It blinds the opponent for the turns of the jutsu, so it's a good jutsu.
(Sakura Fubuki no Jutsu) - Cherry Blossom Snow Storm Technique

It will begin to burn, and by igniting the falling smaller notes it will cause a gigantic explosion.
Ok, throw 10 kunais with pouches around it at your opponent. Once they hit the opponent or something else, they will explode. This causes them to release explosive tags. The exploding pouches cause a lot of explosion tags to set on the battle field, and then you should throw one more with an active explosion tag to set off the big explosion.
