As sensei was done with his instructions, Sawaii started out by gathering her chakra, and after that immediately molding it into fire-nature chakra, in her lungs. As she is done with that, she next started channeling it towards her mouth. As the chakra was into her mouth and as she was about to release the chakra, she made sure to use nature manipulation to convert it into fire as well as shape manipulation to create a huge fireball. Finally she released the technique towards the group of dummies.

It is a fast technique to use also there are no hand seals required for it.

Sawaii started out by gathering a huge amount of chakra into her stomach, while simultaneously performing the required hand seals for this particular fire-release technique: Horse → Tiger. After that she swiftly molded it into fire-nature chakra, as she finished doing the hand seals, she immediately channeled that chakra towards her mouth. Just before releasing the huge amount of chakra, Sawaii made sure to use nature manipulation to convert it into fire as well as shape manipulation to create big-sized sphere of fire. After that she finally released the technique towards the nearby tree.

I don't really see any combinations for this technique, since technique itself is powerful enough.

Ways to Counter:
As you have already said I can counter it with an lightning release technique, since condensed/focused Fire and Lightning techniques are capable of clashing with one another and as we know this technique should be capable of clashing with focused/condensed lightning techniques. But of course I can counter the fire technique with an water release technique too.

Uses of this technique (Battle orientated and non-battle orientated):
I will use it when I need a quickly perform-able technique with destructive power.

Rate the technique out of ten:
I will give it seven out of then, the technique is pretty nice.

As sensei was done with explaining the next task, Sawaii started out by gathering her chakra into her stomach and after that she immediately converted ii into fire-nature chakra. Next she started channeling it towards her mouth, while simultaneously jumping high in the air. As the chakra was into her mouth she quickly useed nature manipulation to create fire out the chakra and shape manipulation to create three (3) giant fire bullets, that had the size of meteors. After that she finally released the three (3) giant fire bullets one after another. They are directed towards I direct them all towards the nearby group of dummies, as they made contact the fireballs erupted into a vertical geyser of flame.

I will give it nine out of ten. The technique is pretty epic, you can use it in long range and I love meteor based techniques.

Description: The user spews superheated ash from their mouth after performing four handseals. The ash is hot enough to cause third-degree burns on the victim. Because it's composed entirely of ash, it stays in the air around the victim like a cloud. If the user clicks his teeth, the stagnant ash will ignite, creating a violent explosion.

Perform the following sequence of handseals before focusing your katon chakra to your lungs once more. However, envision this chakra manifesting in a completely different form, namely a cloud of scorching ash. Replicate this in reality and spew the ash cloud from your mouth in in the direction of those dummies in the corner. Whenever you decide to, click your teeth to ignite the cloud, resulting in a powerful and violent explosion.

Key Points: Be wary in the way you use such techniques. They're prone to being blown back towards you or worst still, you could get trapped in a prison of Earth with your own technique. Its relatively slow moving, however should you go on to make variants of this, attempt to make your techniques fast moving. I have one of my own, which has considerable abrasive power (shredding e.g. imagine a sand blaster), so even without the heat, its still a deadly attack. Also, techniques where you manually detonate them by clicking your teeth, they need to have come from your mouth, otherwise you have to find other means of detonation.

( Katon: Gōryūka no Jutsu ) - Fire Release: Great Dragon Fire Technique

After the dragons reach the sky, they will heat up the upper atmosphere and generate the necessary weather conditions (storm clouds) for natural lightning strikes. This jutsu is used as a step to trigger a devastating technique known as Lightning Release: Kirin.

Key Points: To generate the conditions for Kirin, all of the dragons produced in this technique need to reach the sky. Their collective power is B-Ranked and a B-Rank or above Fire technique with Long Range Reach needs to be used towards the sky.

This is the better and high-ranked version of that D-Rank Blazing Shuriken Dance I taught you earlier. Much like before I want you to utilize Fire Release: Mist Blaze Dance technique, to generate a flammable mist around that group of dummies. Afterwards, retrieve several shuriken from your ninja pouch and toss them in the direction of the mist, before exhaling small fireballs which inflame the small tools to create a barrage of fire-coated weapons. On coming into contact with the flames, the mist should explode into a large maelstrom of fire, completely incinerating anything in its area of effect.

Key Points: A good jutsu to employ in close-combat fights, a nice addition to the arsenal of Fire Release users.

Once Kakuzu-sensei was done with his instructions, Sawaii immediately started by gathering a sufficient amount of her unique chakra into her stomach. After that she quickly converted it into fire-nature chakra, while simultaneously performing the four (4) required hand seals for this particular fire-release technique. Once she was done with the performing of the hand seals and once she had gathered enough chakra, she started channeling it forwards in a direction to her lungs and after that she channeled it into her mouth. As the chakra was in her mouth, just before releasing the chakra, Sawaii made sure to use nature- as well as shape manipulation to create an scorching ash that was different from the normal ash, because it was concentrated with fire-nature chakra. Next, she exhaled a huge, powerful and scorching ash cloud in a direction towards those dummies in the corner, that Kakuzu-sensei pointed at. In a matter of seconds Sawaii clicked her teeth thus ignited the cloud, resulting a powerful and violent explosion.

Well I honestly think that you can follow up with another fire release technique after this one, so you can finish your opponent, since this technique can blind your opponent for a while.

Obviously, the simplest counter will be to use a wind-release technique to blow away the ash, which will do the job in most cases.

Uses of this technique (Battle orientated and non-battle orientated):
I would mostly likely use this particular fire-release technique when I'm fighting with someone in short range, so once I use the technique, my opponent won't have much time to think what he is going to do next. Also you can blind your opponent once the ash is activated for certain amount of time because of the smoke that you are creating.

Rate the technique out of ten:
Not bad technique, I will give it six.

After that she made sure to mold it into fire-nature chakra, while simultaneously making the only hand seal required for this technique, the Tiger hand seal. Once she had gathered enough of her unique chakra she channeled it through out her lungs towards her mouth. As her chakra was in her mouth, once again just before releasing the chakra she used nature manipulation to create fire out of it and shape manipulation to create three (3) powerful dragon shaped fire balls. Aiming her head towards the sky, she quickly released them towards the sky, once the dragons reached the sky, they heated up the upper atmosphere and generate the necessary weather conditions (storm clouds) for a natural lightning strike.

Once she released the small fireball she also threw the shuriken towards the mist that she had created. She also ignited the shuriken with fire. Upon contact with the flames, the mist exploded into a large maelstrom of fire, that completely incinerating anything in its area of effect.

Key Points: Whilst most fire techniques emerge directly from the user's body, these demon heads are generated up to five meters anywhere/everywhere around you. They're also partially see through and so don't share the common weakness of fire techniques (where your line of sight is obscured).

Well the main point here is probably that the technique itself is transparent. I would say that transparency helps me because it gives me the opportunity to see my opponent and what is he/she going to do, it is not going to block my vision, therefore my opponent can't surprise me.

It's basically a forward released fire technique therefore no one will let the fire reach their feet and burst upwards, because that will damage them badly. I will use it when I'm fighting against a noob Lol.

Once sensei was done with his instructions, Sawaii started by performing the required handseals for this particular technique: Monkey → Bird → Dog → Ram, while gathering her unique chakra into her stomach and likewise molding it to become fire-nature chakra. Next she channeled the fire nature chakra towards her legs and quickly she released the chakra towards the ground. As she releases the unique chakra she also made sure to use nature manipulation to create fire out of it and of course shape manipulation to firstly create a fire circle around both of her feet and afterwards she manipulated the chakra to rise up and create a spiralling vortex around her. But she didn't finished there, she quickly expanded it outwards to engulf the surrounding area in a maelstrom of fire.

The biggest problem in my opinion, about this attack is that it is too straightforward attack making it really easy to dodge,also opponent can easily see that you are surrounding yourself with fire. Therefore I assume that I will once again use my fav c rank water.

Uses of this technique (Battle orientated and non-battle orientated):
Pretty decent technique to be used if you are standing in mid range. The thing is that you can cancel an opponents technique and afterwards you can use it as an attack which is kind of cool.

Alright, for this next technique I’d like you to perform the following handseal sequence *displays it* before gathering your katon chakra and spewing into a wave/stream which will surround the enemy before transforming into a large spider that proceeds to attack them. Of course, the latter part of this technique will take a considerable level of shape manipulation.

Key Points: Techniques which require considerable shape manipulation tend to require quite a few handseals, however this is not always the case.

Description: The user kneads fire chakra into their forearm and then by swinging their arm in a wave motion they release the fire chakra creating a line of fire that spreads out infront of the user acting as a defensive wall.

I quite like this technique. Focus your katon chakra into your forearm before swinging it in a wide arc in front of you to release the built chakra in a linear way, to form a basic defensive wall of flames. Basic but I imagine this could be useful in certain battle situations.

Key Points: Of course, the defensive wall will only cover the immediate area in front of you, making this a pretty incomplete defense.

Once Kakuzu-sensei was done with his instructions, Sawaii immediately started by gathering a sufficient amount of her unique chakra into her stomach, while performing the required handseals: Tiger → Horse → Rat → Dog → Tiger. Afterwards she channelled the fire nature chakra forward towards her upper body and mouth. Just before releasing the actual technique, she made sure to use nature manipulation to create fire out of it and then shape manipulation to, first surround the nearby dummie with fire, which is circling around it. As the dummie is in the perfect middle of the circle, she one again used shape manipulation to transform the chakra into spider looking shape kind of thingy and sent it towards the dummie.

Combinations you could make with this jutsu:
I plan on like using some kind of earth technique to trap my opponent, and afterwards to use this one, for the sake that if my opponent escapes the first trap, he/she will be caught in the second one.

Ways to Counter:
Just sending a fast technique towards your opponent to interrupt the technique will work just fine here, because of the amount of handseals needed. Likewise, no one will actually allow the fire to surround them in the first place. A water release technique will also counter it easily.

Uses of this technique (Battle orientated and non-battle orientated):
Well the main point here is that the technique itself traps and attacks an opponent at the same time, which is perfect and how I actually plan to use it. The only thing that bothers me is the great amount of handseals in this technique, but as a future fire master I will handle it well.

It's basically a forward released fire technique therefore it's only useful if I want a low level fire technique to assault the opponent with. Other than that I don't see how I would use it because it's pretty simple technique. Also one has to be careful because streams require constant chakra use.

Afterwards she immediately heated it up and channeled it and focused it into her dominant right arm, mainly in the forearm-area. Well, from my knowledge with taijutsu, I would say that as can also be used offensively, mixed in with taijutsu to create surprising combination attacks will be a good idea. This is because it only requires a swing of your arm, which can be easily incorporated into freeform.

Ways to Counter:
The biggest problem in my opinion, is that it only covers the immediate area in front of me, making this a pretty incomplete defence, as you have already said, and therefore it would be a easy job to overpower it with water release and actually strike the opponent.

Uses of this technique (Battle orientated and non-battle orientated):
Pretty decent technique to be used if you need to defend against something fast. I quite like it to be honest. It requires no handseals nor something special to be performed. Simple but yet useful in fights.

Once Kakuzu-sensei was talking to Sawaii and giving her his instructions, she was listening intently. She also gave the situation a deep thought and strategized her next move in a mere matter of seconds. She gave a slight smirk and took a step back. After that she then took a deep breath and continued. Sawaii unsheathed her sword slowly, observing its movement and noting its fluidity when in motion. She felt a little nervous at first but she took a deep breath and continued. Holding her sword with both her hands in front of her now, Sawaii now had a strong resolve. The sword's tip was pointing at a low angle towards the sky. She was standing sidewards with her arms and face, facing her sensei. Her right foot was in front of her left foot and also her knees were curved. Afterwards Sawaii gathered a decent amount of her fire nature chakra in her stomach. Next she channeled it towards the middle of her right hand's palm, in which she was holding her deadly sword, and then in the actual sword. She was ready to continue with the whole technique and once she felt ready she started running towards the nearby dummie. While she was running towards her target, she was scanning him (it) with her beautiful, cerulean blue eyes and also had them locked their deep gaze on the target in front of her, she was in a way trying to imagine the whole situation as if she was in a real fight. Upon entering real short range of the dummie, she immediately made a huge vertical slash, aiming for the dummie's left arm and afterwards, with sword facing the ground and holder on the height of her pelvis, Sawaii turned it 45 degrees and made rapidly a vertical slash aiming for the dummie's chest area. To finish off, she swiftly jumped, making a 360 degree salto, in the sky and released a powerful fireball towards the dummie, completely destroying it.

Obviously the technique itself is a combination.

Ways to Counter:
Just sending a fast technique towards your opponent will do the job, because nobody will let you perform the whole move.

Uses of this technique (Battle orientated and non-battle orientated):
I won't be really using it that much, because it's pretty basic technique and it takes a lot of important time. If the opponent is experienced and I use such technique, he/she will take advantage over me and end the fight swiftly

I seriously don't see anything you could do with this one because it's pretty basic technique and easy counter able.

Ways to Counter:
Pretty easy to counter, I can either use wind to blow myself away from the range of the actual technique or use water release, to counter it directly or overpower it. Also by creating an earth shelter, that is defending you from all sides, will work too. It all depends on the battle scenario and how one uses it against you.

Uses of this technique (Battle orientated and non-battle orientated):
It's once again a fire stream and one has to be careful when and how to use it in a fight. It is a good technique that can make a decent amount of damage, but being only usable in short range means that you will as well be at disadvantage. Also this is a straightforward attack and the opponent will know what to do right away.

Once sensei was done with his instructions, Sawaii started out by moulding a sufficient amount of her unique chakra. After that she successfully executed the required handseals for this particular lighting-release technique at great speed because of her lighting proficiency. Sawaii, with precise chakra control, altered the nature of her chakra to earth-nature chakra in order to summon sixteen equally large, solid and proportionally spaced earth, pillars, which completely surrounded Ray. Once she was done with the first step, she proceed by letting her lightning-nature chakra run through each of the earth pillars, thus caused a bolts of lightning to shoot out at Ray, who was exactly in the middle. Sawaii immediately made sure to focus the majority of her own power on the center, also keeping the flow of chakra consistent to deal as much damage as possible. Finally the lightning visibly bounded her target, Ray. After that she quickly, without wasting any time, started by focusing chakra all over her body then converted it to earth-nature chakra. Afterwards she swiftly performed the two (2) required handseals for this earth release technique: Ram → Snake. Then she swiftly created an opening within the sky, which rapidly dropped down onto Ray a large amount of sticky mud, covering him completely. The mud was very heavy and thick as well as adhesive, therefore it will make it impossible for him to move. Once this was done she immediately formed the following handseal sequence for the fire technique which generated powerful flames inside of the giant oven.

Well they are already mentioned in the actual technique.

Ways to Counter:
Well one has to immediately react to the first technique and not let the whole combo happen. Therefore I would counter the first lighting release technique with a wind release technique, thus cancelling the whole combo.

Pretty decent technique to be used in a combo, and it indeed, if works, does a decent amount of damage. One has to be careful how to use it though.

Since the flames travel along the ground, and cover such a wide area this is a difficult technique to evade. When combined with Wind Release: Pressure Damage, this technique is amplified to the point of being able to evaporate a large amount of water in an instant.

Ah yes, one of the Fire Release techniques I favour quite a lot. Form the handseal sequence of Rat -> Dog -> Tiger while gathering your katon chakra into your lungs. After you’ve built up a sizable amount, spew the built chakra in the form of a small fireball which erupts against the floor into a massive firestorm. The flames will travel along the ground rather through the air and so it can have several applications.

Key Points: An application of this technique I like quite a bit is its ability to counteract large scale terrain changes, especially if they’re weak to Fire Release. This wouldn’t work on something like Swamp of the Underworld in my opinion, but it could potentially harden the mud into rock. This has helped me out quite a few times against CE users.

With a single hand seal, the molten rock debris will erupt from the ground underneath the opponent, engulfing them and burning them alive.

Another Fire Release technique I use quite often. First, you stomp on the ground to create an underground tunnel between yourself and the opponent. After doing so, breathe out a stream of fire into the tunnel. The fire will melt the surrounding rock and carry pieces of debris along as it does this. With a single handseal, you can cause the molten rock to erupt from the ground underneath your target to engulf and burn them alive.

Key Points: This isn’t the equivalent of lava, just pseudo molten earth. Making custom variants of this will probably be difficult since it will most likely clash with an existing lava jutsu.

Once sensei was done with his instructions and upon his affirmation, Sawaii started out by rasiing and benting her knee, over in the wanted position, of her dominant right leg. As she raised up her right leg, she started focusing chakra into it. When she felt that she had focused enough chakra, she quickly stomped her right foot on the ground to create a tunnel between herself and her opponent, sensei's clone, afterwards, breathing a sizeable stream of fire along it which quickly reacted with the ground to form a molten rock debris; similar to hot stone debris kind of thingy, if not the same. Then with the quick use of a single handseal, she caused the lava to erupt from the ground in a violent manner, reaching an outstanding distance into the air before inevitably crashing back down on top of the clone.

Combinations you could make with this jutsu:
I love one combination that I once read in your fight. You need to already have a clone on the battlefield. You use the first d rank genjutsu and that b rank earth vortex and your ground finishes off with the fire technique. I think you pretty good know to what I'm referring though, one of the best combos I have ever saw! xD

Ways to Counter:
Pretty easy to counter, with water release to either cancel it or overpower it. Even though when I think now, as your opponent stomps his foot you can like use fast lighting release technique to attack him directly and not allow him to proceed with anything. Even though it depends on the range and the battle scenario.

Uses of this technique (Battle orientated and non-battle orientated):
Most likely will use it with combo. Alone itself will take too much time and might get me into trouble.

A very, very, very overused fire technique. Then again, most fire techniques are linear and generic. Knead your katon chakra before releasing it into the ground below by stomping down either one of your legs. The released fire chakra will emerge from the earth in the form of three identical pillars of fire which reach several meters into the air. The space between the individual fire pillars remains the same. As the jutsu said, quite useful against low aerial targets.

Key Points: The power of the technique is equally split between the three pillars (so each one is about a high C-Rank), so if you want this to intercept A-Rank attacks of neutral elements, you have to line them up in such a way that all of the pillars will clash with the incoming attack.

(Katon Renkeijutsu: Karura) - Fire Release Co-Operation Technique: Garuda

I don't really know about combinations here. The key of the technique it's its description, because it has many applications, both offensive and defensive.

Description: After performing the hand seal Tiger the user compresses a large amount of chakra built up inside their body, before instead expelling it in the form of a number of dragon head-shaped fireballs. The user then skilfully manipulates that great fire, and attacks their opponent. The temperature of the created flames is so great that, even with the briefest of contact, they are capable of easily burning human flesh and the fireballs are dense enough to behave almost as solid, being able to deliver impact damage in adition to the fire damage. However, this also means that they can be deflected as a solid projectiles.

For this technique, you’ll employ something a bit different even though it share some overlap with other fire techniques. Perform the Tiger handseal and focus your katon chakra throughout your body before releasing the built chakra in the form of a number of dragon-shaped fireballs. Unlike normal fireballs, these dragons will be composed of highly condensed fire allowing them to act in a similar manner to solid objects. They’ll be able to “punch” holes in inferior solid defenses and inflict impact damage as well as burns.

Attempt to incinerate just over half of the wooden landscape, reducing it to a barren field of ash.

Key Points: This is a large scale and very powerful technique. I'd prefer if you didn't become one of those who senselessly spam it like its easy to pull off, but then again its your choice. Furthermore, since it covers such a wide and high area, it will also block your vision of the opponent, leaving you relying on your sense of sound as well as almost oblivious to their next course of action. If you don't' have a way of sensing them, they could burrow underground and stealthily put an end to you.

(Katon: Gōka Messhitsu) - Fire Release: Great Fire Destruction

When it was used by Madara Uchiha, the massive scale of the technique was such that, in comparisson, his incomplete Susanoo seemed small. The main advantage of the technique is that it can be used to burn large areas in an effect in everything similar to a flamethrower.

Now turn your attention to other half of the forest, and replicate the same process chakra building process as before. This time, instead perform this long sequence of handseals *displays* and release the built Katon chakra as a massive stream of flames as opposed to a wall of flames, keeping the sheer scale of the jutsu on par with the one you performed previously.

Key Points: This jutsu is more or less the faster variant of the other (minus the long handseal required), only the fire is released in a slightly different from. More or less the same comments as on the previous jutsu, use it responsibly.

Once Kakuzu-sensei was done with his instructions, Sawaii continued by quickly gathering a decent amount of her chakra in her abdomen and converted it into fire chakra, performed the tiger handseal and quickly exhaled two identical dragons composed of flames towards the nearby dummie's direction. The dragon's were mere centimeters apart, giving them the appearance of Siamese twins and were flying towards her opponent, in this situation the nearby dummie, at a decent speed.

Combinations you could make with this jutsu:
I would love to use it in a combination with that wind a rank technique, it was called vacuum bullet or something like that.

Ways to Counter:
I would say water technique will work good, but since I like thinking out of the box I would say that this Earth Release: Stone Golem, will also do the job as long as you describe it very well.

Uses of this technique (Battle orientated and non-battle orientated):
I'd say that it's a pretty cool technique to have in your arsenal. Fast performable and very powerful. One can use it in a lot combinations, for example with the water oil cloud, or with different wind techniques to achieve even greater effects.

The stream of flame was massive in both width as well as length thus making it hard to dodge. I don't know about any combinations here, I assume the technique itself is pretty powerful alone.

Uses of this technique (Battle orientated and non-battle orientated):
One has to really be careful when using this technique, for one simple reason: it covers the whole sight of your opponent, meaning that you won't be able to see your opponent for a while thus giving him a chance to strike you, for example from below by going into the earth etc. This should be used only in a situations where you are 100% sure that the outcome will be good for yourself.

Once Sawaii was done with all other techniques it came time for the final one. She turned her attention to other half of the forest and once sensei was done with his final instructions, Sawaii started out by gathering a decent amount of her chakra in her abdomen and afterwards she makes sure to convert it into fire nature chakra. Afterwards, with no hesitation at all, she immediately performed the required handseals for this particular fire release technique, while simultaneously channelling the gathered chakra into her mouth. Once she was ready with everything, she proceeded by exhaling the built chakra, making sure to once again use nature manipulation so I can create actual fire and then shape manipulation to create a massive stream of fire, directing it towards the other part of the forest, which is completely burned with the technique.

Combinations you could make with this jutsu:
Boosting it up with wind will be cool, also by combining it with earth to make pseudo lava creation will work fine I guess.

Ways to Counter:
I assume once again with water release (A or higher rank) or if your opponent is not a fire master, you can use the timeframe as your advantage and just don't allow him to proceed with the technique since it requires so many handseals.

Uses of this technique (Battle orientated and non-battle orientated):
Since I plan to be a fire master I would personally use this technique often. What I like about it is that it's pretty straightforwards technique but yet useful in combinations. If you play your cards right you can do some real damage with it.

Since I have seen you using this technique in fights, combined with earth and creating pseudo lava, but I can't remember with what you used this technique can you like give me some examples of good fire + earth combos with this technique, which will create pseudo lava? (Katon Kuchiyose no Jutsu: Hitora Bakufu) - Fire Release Summoning Technique: Fire Tiger Explosion

Description: The user summons a tiger made of flames from a scroll, directing it towards the target, and attaching itself onto the target and explode causing massive damage on detonation making it similar to a paper bomb.

Retrieve a scroll from your ninja pouch, similar to the one you utilized when you were training with Minato. Summon tiger composed of flames from the scroll and direct it towards that nearby tree. Before inflicting any damage, the spectral tiger should "attach" itself to the tree's trunk in a similar manner to how a paper tag functions before exploding into a massive maelstrom of fire.

Key Points: Of course, you'll have to have a scroll with you and at hand to use this jutsu. Retrieving the scroll and imbuing it with chakra makes this jutsu slightly slower compared to other Katon techniques.

(Katon: Fuuton Ken Katon Bakufuu no Jutsu) Fire Release: Wind and Fire Blast Technique

Description: The user after combining Fire Release: Intense pain and Wind Release: Pressure Damage at the same time. This creates a blast that is so intense that a standard water technique (ex : Water Release: Water Encampment Wall) can only at most soften of the impact. It was successsfully stopped by Yamato and Naruto's Typhoon water vortex.
Note: Can only be used either with a clone or with an ally

For your last technique, you will be learning my signature creation. Originally, this jutsu was performed by my Fire and Wind Masks, but i've adapted its use to extend to clones, summons and etc. Create a clone capable of utilizing the Fuuton affinity and instruct him to release a massive blast of air (Wind Release: Pressure Damage). Simultaneously, I'd like you to stand by his side and release a large fireball in the same direction as the wind, empowering it to a devastating extent to create a blast of fire on epic proportions.

Key Points:
1) You always need an ally to help you perform this technique, it can never be performed by one single entity.
2) This does not count as an elemental combo of Fire and Wind. Its an S-Rank Fire and behaves as one. That note which says water techniques can only "soften" the impact at most is an exaggeration. Like all jutsus, this follows NB's elemental strengths and weaknesses, meaning an A-Ranked Water technique will neutralize this technique and an S-Ranked one would overpower it.
3) Despite being the combination of two techniques, it counts as one technique. You do not have to post Pressure Damage or Intelligent Hardwork either.

Once Kakuzu-sensei was done with his instructions, Jayce once again prepared himself to show his best abilities, since he was a member of the mighty uchiha clan and swiftly began by retrieving a scroll from his ninja pouch, afterwards he quickly summoned tiger composed of flames from the scroll and directed it towards the nearby tree, that was approximately at five meters away from his position. The spectral tiger attached itself to the tree's trunk, in a similar manner to how a paper tag functions, and immediately afterwards it exploded into a massive maelstrom of fire thus destroying the tree.

Combinations you could make with this jutsu:
There aren't any combinations with this one to be honest. Maybe you should first blind your opponent with a wind technique, e.g. creating dust or there is one more thing, you can spit mud in his eyes for the blinding effect.

Ways to Counter:
It depends on the situation. If you are in short range you can use that Wind Blade technique to cut the scroll, correct? I mean it doesn't counts as breaking the timeframe if this is the first move of a user, since you know that he took out a scroll and from there you can counter. If you are in medium range I would use water release technique, maybe something like that water beast technique.

Uses of this technique (Battle orientated and non-battle orientated):
I'd say first follow up with a blinding technique and afterwards attach the tiger to your opponent. Easy as that!

Once sensei was done with his instructions and upon his affirmation, Jayce proceeded with the next technique. He quickly focused his chakra throughout his body, and began to sense the total volume of it within the confines of his physical form. After acquiring an inkling of just how much chakra he has, Jayce then began to distribute it whilst making a single handseal, equally, into one exact manifestations of his own persona and thus creating one perfect clone, standing next to him. Afterwards, Jayce instructed his clone and in similar stance they began with the performing of the technique. J2 began by channeling his unique wind nature chakra in his core, as he began to inhale. The air he inhaled began to mix with his chakra and J2 swiftly focused a large amount of chakra in his lungs and core as he was inhaling. Finally he then released the wind from his mouth creating an uncontrolled and powerful devastating wind, which will cause massive damage if it makes contact with anyone, outwards. In the same time Jayce swiftly gathered a large amount of chakra, converte it into katon chakra and channeled it into his mouth. Next he released a large fireball in the same direction as the wind, empowering it to a devastating extent thus creating a blast of fire on epic proportions.

Combinations you could make with this jutsu:
The technique is already one even though it counts as 1 technique. I think this shall be used as a finishing move. Maybe a good genjutsu beforehand to trap your opponent into something.

Ways to Counter:
As you already said sensei, A rank water will do just fine.

Uses of this technique (Battle orientated and non-battle orientated):
I would carefully used it when I have a clone on the battlefield. As I have already said I would first trap my opponent with genjutsu or with something else. I can also blind him with dust or mud. The combinations are endless.

(Katon: Gōen no Jutsu) - Fire Release: Great Flame Technique

Description: The user does one handseal and inhales while molding a great amount of chakra into their lungs and expelling a large stream of flames from their mouth. The user has control over the concentration of the technique, being able to produce a narrow jet of flames, highly concentrated or one that will widen along its range. The flames are hot enough to quickly evaporate large quantities of water within a relatively short amount of time.

Alright, perform a single handseal and breathe in while molding a sizable amount of katon chakra into your lungs. After building up enough chakra, spew the built chakra in the form of a large stream of fire from your mouth. You can freely control the concentration of this technique, allowing you to produce a highly concentrated narrow jet of flames or a wider, less concentrated wave of fire.

Key points: You can only control the width/dimensions of the fire technique initially, once its under way and moving towards the point, you can't force it to shrink or expand.

(Katon: Gōkakyū Hitoame no Jutsu) Fire Release: Great Fireball Shower

Kneading his chakra and then converting it to fire, the user will do the Horse → Tiger → Snake → Ram hand seals as he inhales, exhaling into the sky a multitude of great fireballs (up to 8) at the same time which then rain down on the target from above causing severe, widespread damage around the field. These fireballs have explosive and concussive abilities, similar to other fire techniques.

For this technique, I want you to knead your katon chakra into your lungs while performing the following handseal sequence *displays*. Afterwards, I want you to inhale before exhaling in the direction of the sky to let forth a multitude of colossal fireballs (up to eight) at the same time. The fireballs will then rain down on the target from above, leading to widespread destruction of the battlefield. Similar to the Exploding Flame Shots technique, these fireballs have explosive and concussive properties.

(Katon: Bakuryūgeki) - Fire Release: Exploding Dragon Strike

Key Points: Of course, you'll have to have a scroll with you and at hand to use this jutsu. Retrieving the scroll and imbuing it with chakra makes this jutsu slightly slower compared to other Katon techniques.

As Kakuzu-sensei was done with his instructions, Jayce once again performed swiftly a single handseal and breathed in, while moulding a sizeable amount of katon chakra into his lungs. After building up enough chakra, he quickly spew the built chakra in the form of a large stream of fire from his mouth, which was aimed towards the nearby dummie. As the highly concentrated narrow jet of flames hit the dummie it completely destroyed the dummie.

Combinations you could make with this jutsu:
I assume that if you use those Black Cloud to get some flammable oil onto the target, this technique can be a good follow up.

Ways to Counter:
An water release technique which is A rank or higher will be good enough to counter it with no problem.

Uses of this technique (Battle orientated and non-battle orientated):
Well this is rather straightforward so for this to hit you need to distract your opponent somehow. For example spitting mud in his eyes, or using dust can get the distraction job done.

Once again you need something to distract your opponent, a mist, dust storm or similar things.

Ways to Counter:
If I had an omnidirectional water release technique it would have been perfect counter against this one, but since I don't have one I assume an canon water release torrent of water towards the upcoming fireball.

Uses of this technique (Battle orientated and non-battle orientated):
The technique itself it's not that bad. It actually has some charm behind it and it's useful when you want to attack more than one opponent in a fight.

Upon contact with the tree, the dragon exploded causing the destruction of the tree.

Combinations you could make with this jutsu:
Same concept as for every slow perform-able technique. You need a distraction beforehand for this to work. Again a mist, dust storm, mud etc will work fine.

Ways to Counter:
Since it is straightforward I would say that A rank or higher water release technique would work fine here. Nothing really hard to counter.

Uses of this technique (Battle orientated and non-battle orientated):
I would say if you have the opponent caught up in something or if you have distracted him enough you can use it afterwards as a finish move. It's not a bad technique, it's just straightforward and it won't be a big problem for your opponent to counter it with water release techniques.
