So I read some things in another thread that got me thinking.

Why do most people seem to think Law killed those 100 pirates whose hearts he gave to the WG? We know how Room works we've seen people live with no heart yet the way pretty much everyone talks about Law and this deal they give the impression he killed them. I've heard people say things like"this makes me worried he'll betray the strawhats", A we don't even know that they were really pirate let alone human hearts, Law has already shown he's not concerned with tricking people.

Next is the Rocky Port incident. I know it's completely unknown for now but my question is why does no one seem to be considering the fact that maybe the incident occurred before he asked for his shichibukai title. I've seen a lot of people say it's the place and time he got the 100 hearts, which is as much a possibility as anything else, but I haven't seen anyone say it could have been something before that.

Besides the obvious what do you guys think some abstract ideas for the Rocky Port incident would be?

But I'm not sure what happened, the whole situation is just so abstract. The theories about him gathering 100 pirates seem pretty accurate though. Or maybe he bought something very valuable to the government that was contained in Rocky Port, that they couldn't access but Law could with his DF. That wouldn't explain why it was called an incident though.

I lately have been wondering that too. At first Law was portrayed to be this merciless, cold blooded, no emotions having sadistic killer. Lately he's been showing a good side so i think this whole thing about Law being a "scumbag" is just something those who dont really know him think. The way i see it, Law went around and took 100 pirates' heart but imo theres something more to it.

I agree with the first part, imo it is way more likely he never killed them while taking their hearts. Simply took them out like he has done so many times before.
I think people thought he would betray the StrawHats because he did seem to have the evil genre about him. The fact he asked Drake how many he had slaughtered and the fact he had a shady moniker, The Surgeon of Death.

And good point, it more likely though does have something to do with the 100 heart thing.

Not exactly sure what you're trying to dig at with the vocabulary crack but not every comment needs to be verbose, sometimes simplicity is better. Anyway he definitely gave 100 hearts to the WG, that much is definitive, my question was do you really think he killed 100 pirates and stole their hearts or used room and took them and let them live. Most people seem to believe Law killed those pirates, yet I'm fairly certain in the anime it showed the hearts were in the square that Room makes around hearts.(Granted the anime isn't necessarily canon) A lot of people also think that Law gathering those hearts is the Rocky Port incident, I'd like to find out any other considerations on that, people had. I ike the idea that maybe he used Room to steal something from Rocky Port that the WG needed(If I understood you correctly)

I don't know if it was the same as in the manga, but in the anime, when the marine dropped one of the bags containing a heart, they were shown to be beating, so no Law didn't kill them.

As for Law's reputation, I think Law can be cold and merciless. He left Vergo to die in the SAD room(he knew it was going to explode) and he wanted to leave the kids on Punk Hazard alone. I see Law as an anti-hero, who can be cruel when he needs to be.

Law was called the "Mastermind" behind the Rocky Port "incident." This insinuates a lot more than a simple trade-off of hearts.

I think I did, but I wanted to make a thread with a wider topic. Your Rocky Port thread is what led to this but I didn't think I'd get the responses about the heart collection and other things if I just posted in yours. No big deal man, there's plenty of people here, we can share.

Exactly, if Luffy raided cities and killed innocent people like Kidd did ON TOP of everything he pulled with the WG he'd have over 500 mil berry bounty no question.

Zoro was a bounty hunter and i am sure he have already killed a lot of people mercilessly.
It does not mean he would ever betray luffy.

Maybe the 100 hearts belonged to Doflamingo's men...
Also Ace has burnt down cities and lots of people probably died...no one seems to care about that
