Luffy is hyped to be stronger, and has better feats IMO.

I have a hunch Law would win. His fruit is real OP, and he's leagues ahead of Luffy in intelligence, and he's shown good stamins, resilience and physical strength, so I think he could give Luffy a run for his money.

If the starting distance is 50m then Law immediately has an advantage due to the manor of how he uses the Ope Ope no Mi, he excels in long range combat (of course this long range is only as large as his room). However ; if the starting distance is about 20m or less then Luffy has the advantage. You matched them up and played it into Laws favor , so Law wins Exta-High Diff. If the starting distance was any shorter then Luffy would win. This is because G2 Luffy is much faster than Law and G3 has far superior physical power.

Luffy has been tanking bullets since part one.

His barbaric strength is too much for Law

Luffy would doflamingo Law if you know what I mean

By legends you mean Chinjao who had firstly been heavily weakened to the point where I believe he lost about a third of his power and secondly is about 70-80 years old... right?

Tanking bullets WITHOUT Haki. Law doesn't use bullets anyways? What's your point?

This whole battles outcome depends on the starting distance. Luffy is immune to Laws defibrillator like attack which seems to provide Law additional strength in close combat. Luffy is still vulnerable to Shambles and Scalpel. If they start so far apart then Luffy loses. But because Luffy is rubber and is immune to lightning based attacks he would stomp Law in a close combat fight unless Law can blind sight him like he did with Smoker.

which is why they are called 'legends'. Same thing happened with Whitebeard got wrecked by Akainu because he wasn't at full strength

What's my point?

My point is that doflamingo didn't use HAKI

Unless you can prove otherwise

Luffy is above Law, otherwise he wouldn't put so much fate him.

Luffy's Haki is superior, he outclass a veteran in kings+armor haki

Whitebeard wrecked Sakazuki. Sakazuki injured Whitebeard.

Ummm Doflamingo might have used Haki to shoot law. If he shot Luffy with Haki imbued Bullets ; Luffy would be wounded.
Luffy is above Law yes, but in this battle because the starting distance is so big Law STARTS with the upperhand.

Do you really think somebody of Doflamingos caliber doesn't use Haki? He's already shown skilled usage of Haoshoku Haki.

It doesn't matter if he's blinded or not.

Luffy has Haki. He can counter Law's attacks in anyway.

Luffy wrecks Law.

Both Luffy's speed and muscle strength are above Law's by far. It doesn't matter what kind distance there is, Law has to actually see Luffy to be able to use his DF ability on him. On top of that, Luffy has a great advantage in a long lasting battle, considering Law's DF gets weaker for each time he uses it.

Luffy takes this.

I didn't say blinded. Blindsighted. Basically law can pull up rocks and sh*t to get in Luffys way , especially from a long distance. His cutting abilities and techniques like shambles are far more potent over long distances. Unless Luffy manages to close the distance really really fast Law can make mince meat of him. On the other hand if Luffy does close the distance down , Luffy would rape Law. How can Luffy counter Shambles? How can he counter Takt? (Basically having some giant object thrown on top of him) etc.? Haki doesn't make you immune, otherwise Luffy would already be top tier. Law also seems to be capable of using Haki.

True. But Sakazuki is only alive for plot purposes. Just like Whitebeard only being dead for plot purposes. Whitebeard completely overpowered Sakazuki, just look at the vid:
Yeah I know in the Manga his face is burnt off...

The distance does matter. Law would be able to see Luffy. Smoker is faster than Luffy and even though he couldn't keep up with or react to his movements easily , he could see Smoker. Just like how he would see Luffy. Luffy does have the advantage in a longer lasting battle. But it's clear you haven't considered the fact that Luffys biggest weakness other than deep water is blades. Law wields a sword if you haven't noticed. And I've already said before; If Law manages to use Shambles in the battle he will insta win. But of course it would be difficult. Laws moves like Shambles are far more potent at a longer distance. So like I said before:

Luffy would stomp if he manages to get close enough fast enough. But if he can't do that then Law wins.

See you assume that doflamingo needs to use Haki on Law.

When in reality.....He doesn't

He does have armor Haki no doubt (example smoker) but Law isn't durable like luffy to take bullets.

Regardless of the distance

Luffy is the general gun and law is a semi swordsmen teleporter.

At distance Luffy's arms are deadly to Law

Luffy is clearly faster than Smoker within short distances, and we've all seen how Luffy can disappear from one place and appear much closer to his target in a blink of an eye. And since Smoker was able to actually put a hand on Law's neck, then Luffy shouldn't have any problem doing the same.

Law clearly cuts people with his DF and not the sword itself, so considering this, the majority would be weak against Law's slashes and cuts. And Luffy had Rayleigh train him, so it wouldn't surprise me if he actually learnt how to handle a swordsman, even though we have seen no feats of this.

Luffy isn't unphased by bullets because of durability. It's his Devil Fruit. Like how Law is basically the surgeon and the one in power when he is in his "room". Luffys arms probably can't stretch 50 metres in an instant. 50 metres over time yes, but do you think Law will let himself get hit? He can easily warp out of the way or dodge an arm moving slowly across that distance. Luffy also has to pull his arm back before punching over a long distance. Law would obviously know what he is trying to do.
