*Hashirama arrives on his wood dragon with his scroll of jutsu he usually carries around*

So I'll go first:

Genjutsu: Teiden | Illusionary Arts: Blackout
Type: Offensive/Supplementary
Rank: A
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra: 30
Damage: N/A
Description: This is a very subtle genjutsu that affects a specific part of the brain, the hippo-campus. This part is where short-term memory is changed into long-term memory and can be impaired as in the case when a person drinks alcohol. The user will clap their hands together in a prayer form in view of the victim. Once they view this image the genjutsu will be activated. The hippo-campus will be blocked off by the genjutsu meaning they will only remember the turn they are currently in until it's the next turn. They will forget what happened in the previous turns but it will not impair their abilities only remove the past memories from the point this genjutsu is activated. If the victim does not break this genjutsu on the turn it is implanted they will be unable to use the memory of the user using this technique as reasoning. Furthermore if the genjutsu is broken they will regain all the memories they had lost in the previous turns.

Note: Can only be used twice per battle with a one turn wait time after the genjutsu is broken.
Note: No other genjutsu the turn this is used.
Note: Cannot be layered with another illusion

I trust you fully with this and your abilities so I doubt I need you to list the usual stuff. Having said that, any questions you might have? It's honestly a complicated jutsu in practice.

Nope, this is a pretty interesting and well thought out custom.

(Genjutsu: Mikkoku Kurouido) Illusion Technique: The Betrayal of the Black Widow
Rank: S
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 40
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user performs 3 handseals and creates a genjutsu that latches onto the opponent's brain, gaining control of the user's chakra. It will suddenly and powerfully make the opponent fear his own jutsu, which will translate in seeing the jutsu transform into something menacing or deadly to the user. For example, turns a dragon fireball around and has it attack the opponent, turns an earth armor into a spiked one, where the spikes grow inwards instead of outwards, etc etc. This only works on jutsus of the same rank as the technique. Genjutsu specialists will be able to affect 1 rank above. As the genjutsu kicks in, the target will hear a loud church bell ringing on their ears, and they'll see their jutsus stop. Then, a few seconds later, a second ring will be heard, and the jutsu will turn on them.
In case of the Kurama, the effects actually become real. By latching itself on the part of the brain that controls the chakra, shortly after preforming the technique, the genjutsu will have the opponent resume the contact with the jutsu and have it's own chakra reshape, re-manipulate the jutsu into what the genjutsu is creating.
*Affects 1 person per usage*
*In case of the Kurama, the genjutsu is short-ranged*
*Can only be used once every 2 turns*
*Can only be used 3 times*
*Kurama's restrictions only apply when the Inner Demon is activated

I have a few questions.

- Do I apply this technique at the start of the turn and the next jutsu they use will be corrupted?
- Also does this apply to every single jutsu they use until this gen is released?
- Do they actually use the technique in reality or is it all in their head and they are frozen to the spot?
- Finally if they do actually use the jutsu would I have to defend from it normally while in their mind they are combating their own jutsu?

Depends on how fast you can cast the genjutsu or the properties of the attack. For example, a defensive technique sticks around, so you can use it in the same turn, after the opponent uses it. A fireball must be evaded, so youd be hard pressed to latch this genjutsu. What I usually do is perform a simultaneous evasion taijutsu, as taijutsu, especially chakraless tai is faster than nin. You must remember you are manipulating the illusion, so you must first know what jutsu your modelling.

As for the evasion part, again, depends on the technique and how fast you are. If the user has to breathe in, or some other obvious ritual, you can cast this genjutsu and manipulate the illusion right as they produce something, like a fireball. You can make it so synchronized that, as soon as the illusion stops the fire, it stops in or around their mouth, burning them and making them lose their concentration. In this case, even before the ilusion turns around, its already "hurting" them, and usually loss of concentration in this situation means uncontrolled and insuficient release of a technique, literally forcing them to misfire, or explode the technique in their mouth in reality, thus you dont have to evade or block it. This cant be done with every technique, and cant be done without specialization, as youd require at least the ability to cast gen with one or less handseals.

The possibilities are endless, and each usage has to be adapted to each case, but keep in mind: you have to see/sense the attack in order to manipulate it in the illusion, even though you dont need to see it in full ( but you cant then mimick the part of the attack you never got to see ) ; you have to decide if you need to evade the actual technique or not while casting this gen ; pain in the illusion leads to distraction or interruption of the attack in real life.

Excellent, thanks Lili :)

Then you've learned it. Let e go through a bit of a rp with you.

Imagine I'm a young lady, very sweet, and I suddenly do some handseals and inhale, then throw a great fireball towards you. What would you do?

Using my bio with genjutsu mastery [Itachi] and assuming I have passive activation, as the sweet young lady begins to form her handseals I passively activate my sharingan (not going to bother posting jutsu for this) and using the reactionary abilities I can see when the fire forms in her mouth, obviously as a specialist of fire jutsu and a Uchiha I would be able to read her handseals and know the technique she is using is performed with seals predominately used for fire jutsu. Also using the sharingan I can see that the subtle inhalation with the fiery disposition of chakra forming allows me to predict a fire jutsu exhaled from the mouth. Using this knowledge I perform one handseal due to genjutsu specialization placing her in the above genjutsu. Crafting this genjutsu I make it seem like the fire turns into a large demon trying to escape her mouth, it's fiery claws grab on to the sides of her mouth burning her as it claws it's way out, once completely out it would charge at her, intent on burning her to smoldering crisp. In reality in her trance she loses control of her fire technique which normally requires great chakra control to keep the shape and form of the technique which causes it to wildly misfire burning her in real life, and causing serious injury. I would then leave her in her folly, realizing she is no real threat to my well being.

Okay, you have the technical aspect right, but what was your purpose behind the technique? Why a demon? You're itachi. And why are you attacking the girl? Itachi doesn't seem like the type to do that. You have excelent skills, but no personality. This could be a choice, and it would be fine, albeit boring, in a custom bio, but you are Itachi, so you can do better.

And hopefully you can do better regardless of being Itachi, I would like to think your genjutsu to have underlying meanings and personalities being usefulness.

A little boy plays on the ground as Itachi walks by. He smiles tenderly, as he does a handseal and a tiny tentacle of water sprouts from a puddle, and joyfully dances to you. Unfortunately, it's the day of the Uchiha Massacre, and Itachi's mission begins then.
