This wasn't forced at all :/ foreshadowed for a long time. This is literally the most opportune moment for Sasuke to make his move. And we've known for a while that his plans were extreme and going to be violent.

And the whole point is now Naruto is faced with the dilemma that Ashura and Hashirama were met with. Weighing Indra (Sasuke) vs the world. This moment has been built up the whole manga, of course given Kishi's repeating history theme, Naruto vs Sasuke has been the main focus of the entire story. It would have been bad writing for Kishi not to initiate a conflict between them here.

So a shonen should be about people getting away with their crimes? Wow, you think that is they often do or should teach that to kids?

That's pretty much my problem with all this. It gives off the impression that if you're nice enough, even the most evil people will become good, and if you try hard enough, you can achieve anything, which is also total bullshit. It's a terribly dangerous mindset if people actually take the "lessons" from Naruto seriously. Sasuke should die, plain and simple. For all he's done to the village, he should be dead. I'm hoping he either dies or will do that revival jutsu that Pain used. It just pisses me off how people can defend Sasuke like this.

There's nothing more disgusting than betraying your village to join up with Orochimaru, who has done countless horrific things to the people of Konoha.

I refer to my post before last :coffee:

Actually Sasuke did help just save everyone, has never done anything worse than the other Ninja's who kill, assassinate and torture people, this is just his warped version of peace and he is a victim of the hate of his world. But I will just be contradicted so again, read post before last.

Actually they died several times, death means little in Dragon Ball, if they could have only died once, Akira Toriyama would never have killed them off. Also, Piccolo never committed any crimes he was just going to and Vegeta's sacrifice was meant to rid him of his selfishness it was not a punishment, same with Piccolo.

In the end they gave up their lives and the damage they caused was repaired. Sasuke can only redeem himself through sacrifice or revives Neji, Ino's dad, Shikamaru's dad, etc with his Six Paths powers. However, Neji is not shown in the Last previews, so Sasuke is probably dead.

Sasuke saved everyone just to rule over them. There is nothing heroic about the guy.

Agreed. Everything suckske was fighting for turned out to be a lie. Even knowing the truth, he wants to kill innocent people and become a dictator? Not logical at all.
