yea excatly, guy would likely win but if he touches him by accident he is dead.

Gai would win because of the gates. Torune has a strong defense against taijutsu but the streng of gates would abliterate him

Your forgetting he's not all taijustu like lee he could summon and the gates would murder him
alll guy has to do is make sure torune doesn't pull his clothes off and put his nano bugs all over his body

Gai smashes the entire ANBU, I think Gai is a top 10 character in terms of raw power, 7 gates is Almost beyond Kage level imho

Gai is relying on his taijutsu, which is probably isn't completly usless agains Torune, but it certainly backlashes on you if you so much as touch him. If you don't kill him with one hit then you're going to loose (speaking about Gai) and even if you do kill him, his insects, that have infected you don't die, yet they kill you. To this, with Torune's defense against taijutsu types I'd say this is either a draw or goes to Torune. No doubt that Gai is stronger, faster, and probably has more stamina then Torune but that means nothing if you only have hand to hand to work with against him.
