if you have a problem with me putting pain over minato.nagato destroyed a whole village then whooped naruto and hinata then took on the the six tails, then fought naruto again, then brought everybody back to life in his weak form!
also minato and hashirama sealed the fox they didnt have the power to take it head on like pain did!
The only people that even stand a chance against Pain are the one's that knows his secret...This means yes Naruto is dead vs Pain 1v1...and so is Saskue and Hanzo, any kage...whomever you can think of!

(not including soap as he is the obvious first pick)

1) Madara (there is alot of mystery behind him, yet he has been around forever and has extreme power)
2) 1st Hokage (he's badass regardless of what anyone thinks, element and bloodline=boss)
3) Itachi (probably would have been considered strongest shinobi ever if he would have stayed in the village and didn't work under Danzo, but overall he is BA and was extremely powerful in all aspects)
4) Nagato (if he uses his power in one he could have been an even bigger force IMO but still would have beaten almost anyone)
5) Minato (ftg was very BA, but that's about all)
6) 3rd hokage (knew a lot of techniques but we weren't able to see him really do his thing, but he gets kudos for his rep)
7) Raikage (hes just overall a powerful dude and is a force)
8) naruto (would be higher, but he's been given most of his strength)
9) Sasuke (from what we have last seen from him, he is getting up there with the others)
10) orochimaru (very BA dude and is almost impossible to kill, but is sucks against uchiha's. But other than that probably one of the most powerful shinobi too)

the thing is, since he learned all his sealing jutsus from Kushina, he probabily being the genious he was, he created the reaper, like he created the rasengan based on the tailed beast bomb... just a thought

I disagree with anyone ranking Madara that high. He lost to Minato and Naruto now has ftg, the technique that beat Madara. Madara also said that Itachi would have killed Madara.

The 3rd Hokage beat the 1st, 2nd, and Orchimaru at the same time, after the 3rd was past his prime.

Madara now has the eternal mangekyo and the Rinnegan, with all it's powers... he didnt lost to minato, he was only hit by minato ONCE, and naruto does not have FTG since it is a space-time tec and naruto simply has "a lot of speed due to large yang=physical chakra concentration"... plus when Itachi could have killed Madara, that was probabily a bluff to make sasuke join him if that's where you got that, because Madara has proven to be untochable..

Madara or tobi has yet to show his EMS so we can assume he doesn't use it or have it.

The 2nd had no KG that I could see only master in the water element. But the first and second were not in their prime which is something I agree with you.

that ability that he uses to "teleport" has to be from his mangekyo... and because of the way it shows it doesnt have to show the sharingan leaving the question in the air forever... I believe it is, so he would not be all this time since his battle with hashirama without using his ETMS
