Going by praise, it's Itachi. Almost every relevant character has given him praise. Add to that defeated opponents, well, he beat Orochimaru, Deidara, could have beaten Sasuke, and a whole bunch of Uchiha's.

-Get soloed
-Get saved
-Follow itachi's order to destory c/t when they were clueless

what about sasori? when he uses puppets does that count as not soloing or 1 v 1?



I think alot of ppl should place aside their dislike for itachi and realize that he basically dechiper and broke nagato's jutsu at first galance

While it's true Naruto and Bee were almost defeated by Nagato before Itachi saving them, it helped Itachi because Nagato(Kabuto) was distracted by them giving time for Itachi to analyse the situation, find an opening the severe the Rinnengan shared vision and sneak attack Nagato to save the Jinchurikis. Kabuto himself stated he completely forgot about Itachi at that moment. Itachi would have not got this much time if he was facing Nagato directly, like he couldn't have destroyed Chibaku tensei without their fire power

So yes Itachi did the greatest job in the battle, but Naruto and Bee did help him whether they wanted it or not

Considering Kishi showed the most favortism to him and gave him the most praise and most OP jutsu.. fans of other characters will never let it go. Not worth the time arguing with people especially when they disregard Manga,databook,kishi feats and information

See the problem with that argument is that Sasori's puppets don't have the 9 and 8 tailed beasts implanted in them, and are incapable of using jutsu like Rasenshuriken or a tailed beast bomb, so no Itachi did not solo Nagato, he merely instructed his teammates naruto and Bee about how to defeat Nagato.
