Hagoromo's appearance has really done a number on the top 10.

I have made various assumptions in this ranking, and most of it is inevitably based on hype since, with the exception of Obito and Hashirama, and a bit of Madara and Naruto, we haven't really seen what these characters are capable of.
Firstly, Hagoromo is still above Madara in my eyes. He and his brother defeated the Juubi. And he created the damn Moon on his deathbed with his own power (without the chakra of the Juubi). Credit where credit is due. All we've seen from Juubi jinchuuriki Madara is him getting beaten up by Gai and Naruto. Also, Naruto, who raped Madara this chapter, albeit an injured Madara, has only half of Hagoromo's power (as stated by Naruto himself). Since Hagoromo created the bijuu, it also stands to reason that he also possessed their abilities, like lava release, for example.
Why haven't I put Gai on there? For the same reason I haven't put Minato or Hiruzen. Eight Gates Gai is on par with Madara, but it's a desperate, suicide attack. It's like resorting to RDS. It cannot be included. And Hashirama, who's taken Gai's spot, is, in my opinion, stronger than Seven Gates Gai.
Hagoromo's brother is a touch and go. Is he stronger than Naruto, Sasuke, and the Sons? We haven't seen anything from him, so we can't really say. From logical deduction, though, him and Hagoromo fought and defeated the Juubi, as stated by the manga. You cannot kill a bijuu, so they sealed it in Hagoromo. Unless it is stated that all they did was seal it, we must go by what the manga has already told us, which is that the Juubi was defeated and then sealed in Hagoromo.
Assuming that at this point Hagoromo and his brother were equals, which seems likely, given the recent focus on pairs (Ashura and Indra, Naruto and Sasuke, etc), and also assuming that the battle between the brothers and the Juubi was very close, Hagoromo's brother can be said to be on par with a Juubi at 50% power.
Now, this is pure reasoning on my part, and I completely accept someone disagreeing.
Naruto and Sasuke vs the Sons is another issue. Given that Hagoromo himself is the source of all four's power, are Naruto and Sasuke on par with the Sons or are they stronger? I ultimately decided that they are stronger, because Indra never had the Juubi's eye. He possessed the Sharingan. Also, Naruto and Sasuke have the Sons' abilities (ocular powers granted to Sasuke, and bodily powers to Naruto) on top of their own.
It seems likely that Ashura had Hagoromo's senjutsu (he wasn't a jinchuuriki, I doubt Hagoromo would have allowed it), since that would explain his chakra cloak, which is similar in design to Naruto's current Rikudou Mode, and he also had the Gudou Damas. Indra was said to be on par with Ashura.
If you accept this logic, and also remember that each are implied to be one half of Hagoromo (in that Hagoromo himself said that Ashura + Indra = Hagoromo), then you would reach the same conclusion as I did: Ashura and Indra were stronger than Hashirama.
