Well to be honest, the only ones he couldn't defeat would be Tobi, Kabuto and possibly Edo Madara. Well when I say that, I mean, its not entirely impossible for him to beat those 3. I kinda wrote it the wrong way.

1.Hiruzen-people say he is so strong because he was said to be the god of all shinobi in his prime. Also madara probably doesnt know anything about him so who knows i agree he is ovverrated though.

2.Itachi- I agree people do overestimate itachi he is still a top 10 ninja all time though. Some people do overrate him by going as far as saying he can beat madara or some stronger ninja

3.Nagato- I agree I hate when people say all that dumb stuff like nagato or tobi or kabuto can beat madara. People underestimate madara way to much.

4. I also agree with this sasuke is way to over hyped in my opinon he still isnt all that strong itachi is still stronger.
5.Minato- He is extremely overrated he is in my opinion not as strong as itachi or nagato but he is strong after all he was able to get to tobi.

Another person I will continue to think s overrated until I actually see him fight is tobi. I believe he really isnt that strong he just has that sharingan and can make himself intangible but if minato can hit him it shows he isnt that strong you just need speed and timing to get to him

having rinnegan doesnt mean your a master of it like nagato is. hes had it all his life, plus gedo mazo, king of hell, cerberus, konan, and a range of abilities unique to him like chakra sensing and uzumaki chakra levels. we dont know what alive madara could do but i bet he cant spam susano
