to be a good genjutsu user, you must know how to break them as well, itachi broke kurienei's genjutsu easily. oro is no were near itachi, nor even worthy of the list imo. ​

Like it or not, the Sharingan grants the user increased genjutsu capabilities. Kakashi hasn't shown any genjutsu feats? I give Kurenai props. Oro, not so sure either.

He has Shisui's eye, -> KA, the most powerful genjutsu ever. He also can reactivate Izanagi with it, giving him near unlimited uses. Izanagi was used by the Sage himself to create.

kakashi is not a genjutsu master :| he just knows how to use it. he couldn't even trap sakura within a genjutsu since she has grown.​

Why Danzo first? All he did was use Shisui's Tech and then Izangi which anyone can do if they have Uchiha and Senju

Izanagi and Kotoamatsukami are the 2 best genjutsu's in the show... noone else have them both together. Not even Shisui.

Also, yes he used it on Sasuke and Sakura during the exams. In the flash back with Orochimaru and Itachi, after Oro is caught in the genjutsu he attempts to break the genjutsu by forming hand seals.
Itachi quickly interrupts him by cutting his hand off! Overall i think that Orochimaru would have broken the regular sharingan genjutsu, and shown his ability using it. Idk if he's in top 5, but he's up there.

Yes, fear was the focus, but to actually visualize the death and trauma is something far more. Nonetheless, was that not genjutsu Oro used of Naruto when the 9-tails appeared?
