Hiashi: Controls one of the most feared dojutsu. Leader of Hyuggas.
Kakashi: Controls one of the most feared dojutsu. Former anbu. Hokage candidate.
Guy: More than likely the best melee fighter in the series. 8 gates and the GUTS to use it.
Shikamaru/Neji: both considered genious but shikamaru is an more leaded toward the brain part while neji has the physical ability and the mental ability (not saying shika doesnt). Both ranked higher than the rest of the classmates (based on rank not strength). Shika was able to find a way to kill hidan and neji was able to bypass the restrictions placed on him by being a branch member and is able to see a region at a time when using byakugan.
Tsunade/Yamato: Hokage/replica of a hokage. Both have a ton f hidden potential not displayed. More of a mentor role in the series and a sort of protector. I dont think they are evenly matched but i think they both have a chance at top 5

I dont think that these can be placed in a numerical order becuase naruto has been shown to not work very simple

A perfect exmaple would be in the fight of hiruzen vs hashirama and tobirama
i think all would agree that hashirama>madara but this fight shown that hiruzen>hashirama & tobirama, but i think that most people would agree that madara>hiruzen and madara<<hashirama & tobirama.

So naruto doesnt work linearly and has made reasons why one character can beat another but lose to another although the person they beat is stronger than the person they lose to.

I disagree, she has proven herself. Also, my Kakashi argument was to support the fact that she deserves a slot in the top five based on feats.

And I give her a spot in the top 5...she just won't get #1 unless she can prove she's more effective in combat than Kakashi and Gai.

It's fun listing off moves and all that stuff, but they mean nothing til they prove their combat intelligence. There may not be anyone who tops Kakashi in combat intelligence, and while Gai may not be on a genius level, he's no where near as stupid as people like to make him out to be. When he gets serious, the enemy gets owned.

I can say that because both Kakashi and Gai have proven that. Tsunade hasn't proven anything yet. She may get a chance here soon, though. Seeing her fight along side the other kages will show us where she stands.

She has proven her skills and intelligence throughout the series. Against Kabuto, the Pain Invasion Arc and all the lesser episodes where she shows her skills and feats. I dont get why you do not understand that. Just because she hasnt had many 1v1 doesnt mean she is not a combat fighter.

Also, what are you talking about? All the moves I've listed have been proven in battle..so, I dunno what you mean.

Naruto is obviously the number one ninja from konoha so other than him...

1. Tsunade- She is Hokage for a reason. The only fights we have seen her in she has done some amazing things and i still don't think that is her full potential.

2. Kakashi Hatake- He is obviously the top Jonin in Konoha and seems to be next in line to be Hokage if not Naruto. Sharingan, Chidori, his intelligence, his senses... he is top of the line no doubt.

3 & 4. Tie between Maito Gai and Hiashi Hyuga- Both taijutsu and close range experts. However it is really hard to judge who is better than who. Gai is almost at the level of Kakashi, if you take his word for it, and he has been fighting and defeating some real strong enemies. At the same time Neji's abilities always seem amazing to me and I dont think he is at the level of his uncle yet. I could only imagine Hiashi to be top tier and being a close range, Taijutsu master I'm going to put him tied for third with Gai.

5. Yamato/Tenzo. Yamato is no joke with his wood abilities however they have made it a point to bring up how he is not as powerful as somebody with natural wood abilities is. Still, he holds his own in just about every situation (except his current one of course lol) and is obviously an Elite ninja to be assigned to protecting Naruto in the first place.

HONORABLE MENTIONS
•Choji Akimichi- Am I the only one who remembers Choji exploding with power during the war? He got the butterfly wings without the pills and kicked a whole bunch of undead ass. He obviously surpassed his father and is now one of the top badasses in series IMHO.
•Shikaku Nara- I can only imagine becoming Jonin Commander would mean you are pretty bad ass. And since he seems to be just as intelligent if not more intelligent than Shikamaru he must be te biggest pain in the ass to fight. If Shikamaru could defeat enemies much stronger than he is like the members of Akatsuki then i could only imagine what his father could do.
•Kurenai Yuhi- Lets not forget about her. We have no idea what her skill level is, only that she is a Genjutsu expert Jonin to the point it impresses Itachi. That Alone makes her pretty bad ass and I only wish we could see more of her in action. One thing is for sure though... that kid she just had is gonna be a bad ass Ninja when he grows up.

•Shibi Aburame- I'm assuming that him being a Jonin of the Aburame clan that he is pretty bad ass with the bugs. The little we have seen of his clan fighting makes me wonder how they are not one the top clans in the whole series. They can defeat you just by standing still while the bugs do the dirty work. They're crazy powerful and should not be forgotten so much. Like I did lol. Thank you EDIT button.

They got their name from tge 3rd war, and tsunade was fighting when it happened...

Unless you can show me a manga page saying other wise, she got doing what the sannin do best, fighting together
